I'm sure the bakery may make great pastries, but first impressions matter. If customers are greeted by open fences, apparent drug activity, and an environment that feels unsafe before they even park, it's hard to justify staying. Hopefully the business and property owners can work with the city to address the surrounding conditions, because no croissant is worth wondering whether you're about to witness an episode of Cops.
