While on vacation in Puerto Rico we visited Ricos in Aguadilla for breakfast/Brunch and must say again the hospitality was over the top service was excellent and the food was super yummy. We started with the lattes which were beautifully adorned and served. *Lates we had the Pumpkin spice latte, Caramel latte, and Mocha Latte all to die for..LOL * Food we had The Ricos Big Breakfast with Granola French toast, and te Ricos omelette both were perfectly cooked as we ordered and very tasty at that. I Highly recommend they also serve Lunch and Criollo plates. And the vibe is super chill. read more

First time it was great but the second time the bad all the girls were talking and on their phones the food sucked it was an order to go and the salad was missing half of the ingredients no dressing and the sandwich was supposed to have fries and I just got the sandwich. Went to Rico Sandwhich restaurant Aguadilla's 107 that didn't have prices on the menu -- now I see why. I ordered a ham, cheese, and egg sandwich with fries plus two coffees. My friend had a cheese and ham omelette, toast, a bowl of fruit, and two coffees. The bill? $57. For breakfast. Way overpriced, and I think the whole place is just charging far too much. Stopped by here for a late breakfast after my flight arrival to Aguadilla. The airport was maybe 10min away. The restaurant is located on a busy strip in a small crowded lot (as mostly all the other business in the area are). The restaurant seemed newly built, being that it was very clean and modern looking. We were greeted at the front door by a waitress who took out temperatures and sprayed our hands with sanitizer. It was comforting to see how serious they were about safety. Once inside I noticed it was spacious inside and the tables were in complete social distancing with seats being much more than 6 feet apart. The server took a while to take our order but was very nice. It was busy inside and our food took a very long time to come out which was disappointing but understandable. I was able to taste the AVENA which was slightly thicker than I liked but tasted very good. I ordered the Rico Big Breakfast, which was supposed to come with home fries (I love home fries) but were actually 5 tater tots. My fried eggs were rubbery and the bacon was thin and overcooked. The pancake was large tasted pretty good. Overall I enjoyed my meal mostly because I was starving. My family had gotten the Rico burger last time they were here and said it was really good. In my opinion, this place seems more of a tourist/visitor trap with the inflated prices and "look", more than a great local dining spot. read more

We had breakfast here twice. Each time we were so happy with our meals. The waffle was incredible. Eggs bacon and home fries were just as good. It's a new restaurant with sparse decor. The bathrooms are of course new and they were both super clean. This was one of the least expensive meals we had on this visit. Don't know how they can afford to price so low. Wait staff was very friendly and quick. Will definitely be returning here. ***we r here again a few months later. We just can't get enough. From great breakfasts with fresh fruits and home made whipped cream to excellent sandwiches and delicious authentic Puerto Rican dishes like plantain soup. This has always been a great place for lunch/dinner, but we were pleasantly surprised to come back during our vacation and find it totally renovated. The food was even better than before, this time we came for breakfast and ordered fresh fruit with granola, harina de maíz (cornmeal), croque monsieur, home fries and a deluxe ham and cheese. I'm giving Rico's a 5 star rating after my first 5 visits there 1/2016. I loved the food, especially the Pernil sandwich with tostones. As tourists, we found a place we liked on our 10 day visit to Aguadilla and stuck with it, because it was delicious. Yet, we went back there this December 2016, and yes remodeled beautifully, and fully packed with customers, I wasn't as satisfied with the food. Many menu items had changed, and not for the better. I ordered the "pernil sandwich" I had before (as it was no longer on menu). Total different sandwich than what I had ordered months before. I love this place, and was so disappointed. Yet again one disappointment should not distract from the 5 star rating as it is an amazing restaurant, and honestly regular customers might be more intrigued by the unique menu options, but I preferred the former as a tourist. Please put the original Pernil sandwich back on the menu :) again 5 stars because your waitresses are AWESOME, and totally accommodating. read more
