We stayed the night in Lodi and of course, come the next morning, I needed some real coffee before I could even assume the possibility of functioning like a person. I did my Yelp search, found this spot, read the wonderful reviews, and away we went. The space is decorated with bright colors and has a cool and inviting vibe. It has that Mexican-ness that we all crave when we are away from home. I felt comfy there, and it was a place where I could hang out for a few hours, work, chill, and enjoy my time. I scanned the menu before we arrived, per usual, and the Horchata Latte caught my attention. That is such a specific drink, and it's so good when it's good. This version is delicious and it has that nostalgic flavor profile we all know and love. Really good drink. I also took a trip in the hot tub time machine when I saw one last sugar cookie covered in rainbow sprinkles. If I had to describe my Mexican-ness in a single food item, it would easily be this cookie. It was so good, and it brought it all back. All the childhood memories of strolling through the Mission, just after the dentist appointment, to get tamales, tortillas, and the Mexican sprinkle cookies. I was so excited to try this place and I finally decided today was the day I walked in it's a super cute lounge nicely decorated the vibes were great I ordered a breakfast sandwich I sat down and waited and waited and waited there were 3 employees I could see I figured someone had to be in the back making the sandwich so I waited some more and about 30 min later I was like um hi my sandwich? They had served all the customers so they weren't busy well They forgot to put the order in and I waited another 5min :( I was on my work break so ya I spent it sitting in the nice lounge just waiting .. not a good first impression. Service was awesome! They remade my matcha until I liked it. I am very picky with my matcha. They made it for me three different times which i appreciate immensely. At first sip, I would sadly rate the matcha a 1/5 for their strawberry cloud as it just tasted like milk. Sadly the oat milk they use is from Kirkland so that was one of the reason why I didn't like it. The quality of the milk matters a lot for matcha lattes. The strawberry syrup was very yummy. I tried soy milk for my last attempt and less milk to matcha ratio. So I think it's the quality of the matcha that gives me the new rating of 2/5. I would definitely be back next time to try their other items though! read more

i really wanted to love cafecito lounge -- the ambience is absolutely beautiful and the staff is always kind and welcoming. it's such a cozy, aesthetically pleasing spot that makes you want to come back again and again. but unfortunately, the espresso drinks here have consistently made me, my family members, and even friends with no blood relation to me extremely sick -- so there's no way it could be a genetic issue. none of us are sensitive to caffeine in general, which makes this even more confusing. every time we've had their espresso, we've experienced intense stomach pain, anxiety, panic attacks, migraines, and even diarrhea. i've given this place multiple chances, hoping it was just a one-off -- but every single time, my body reacts the same way. one time it hit me so hard i had to call out of work and was out of commission the entire day. something is definitely off, whether it's the beans themselves or how the drinks are being prepared. it's really disappointing because everything else about this café is lovely. but i hope they look into this seriously, because it's a pattern that's affected multiple people and it's honestly very concerning. read more

Price 5/5: Can't complain about the prices, they were pretty standard for a coffee shop in Cali. Food 4/5: I got a iced mocha frappe style drink with a bagel. Both were very good and perfectly refreshing on a hot day. The bagel was filling as well as it served as my lunch for the day. Service 5/5: The young ladies running the shop were friendly, professional, and patient. You could tell that they cared about each customer and their food. I found this place a few days ago and I was very pleased to see a cafe with so much character. The place is very clean and very inviting. GOD DAMN.THIS PLACE IS AWESOME.... my grandma's dog passed away and me and my mom took her here after the burial to calm her down and it definitely did! and the decorations were so CUTEEEEE!!!!! As a coffee lover, this place has their espresso down. I have not tried any black coffee because they are always sold out of their cafe de olla! For good reason too I'm sure! However, their espresso is always smooth and never too acidic. I find that places such as Starbucks and Dutch Bros lack the consistency that Cafecito Lounge has. Quality is always 10/10 and the prices are affordable! read more
