I came here as part of the Tippler and absolutely loved this spot. 100/10 Would recommend this place and will definitely be back soon. This bar is absolutely stunning!!!! It's perfect for a cute date night or girls' night. This place is tucked away in Lower East Side - so it may not necessarily be one I would have stumbled across easily. The Whiskey Sour is incredible. They do make the original one with egg whites. However, if you're not into raw eggs in your drinks, they can easily leave it out for you. Still a great find. My favorite part of call was the cheese course. I ordered a 3 cheese plate which came with a Goat Gouda, Pecorrino, and a third one I cannot remember. The accompaniments were fantastatic and it was more than enough for dinner. The staff here are extremely knowledgeable. Absolutely loved this place and would recommend everyone come back here soon! This spot is very border line 3/4 for me. If I'm being up front. The food was just ok, I wasn't overly impressed with the flavors and don't see myself coming back for the food. That being said, you can get one of the best happy hour deals/ weekly deals in the city. So, let's break down the food. We split: - Tune Poke Nachos: I loved the wonton chip but the tuna didn't taste the best quality I also feel like this needed more sauce, or something. It fell flat for me. - Scallion Mac & cheese (sans Bacon): not what I was expecting but the best of the 3 dishes I tried. The pasta was a bit on the tougher side but I enjoyed the sauce. - Yuzu Tuna Burger: maybe I overdid it with the tuna but again, I wasn't impressed with the meat. It felt under seasoned and lack luster. Maybe I just tried the wrong menu items, but I was a bit disappointed with my meal. Now, the drinks were great. An awesome selection of natural wines and very generous pours for only $15. This is a deal you gotta come in for. So, given this, why is my review standing at a low 4? The service here is awesome. You can tell the people that work here are really awesome. There is a great energy in this place that really allowed my friends and I to enjoy our evening. Well, that and the awesome deal on wine. So, my advice: definitely stop by for drinks, maybe skip the food. 3.8/5

A very charming spot with a lovely daily happy hour! We sat by the bar and enjoyed getting to know the bartenders. The daily happy hour was a nice bonus as they didn't advertise it on the website. Try the whiskey sour; it was so delicious. Will return again for the food next time!

Rented Cafe Skye for a birthday celebration with friends last night and I am so happy I did. My friends and I so enjoyed our time so much so that I needed to remind them quite a few times we really needed to make our way out the door for closing lol. The staff was so hospitable, friendly and attentive. They really went above and beyond to make the night perfect for us. I worked with Cam who was so helpful and kind. He helped me come up with a menu and a signature drink. I also really loved that the staff allowed me to play my own music as well. Food and drinks were amazing! Highly recommend & looking forward to hosting more events here!

I'd give 10 stars if I could ! New place but what drew me in was the cozy inviting interior. It's lit nicely with tea lights and warm , inviting decor. And the music. Alt rock that was played at a perfectly balanced level of a bar yet a place to talk to your companions. Alas, my companion was my dog Bonnie. I didn't ask if I can sit inside with her bc they do serve food and that's usually a no-no in NYC. Food and dogs don't mix. Anyways, no worries for me bc they do have a cute covered street patio with overhead heating ! It's Wednesday and wine flight night. 3 tastes for 15. Cameron, the owner, brought over the menus himself. Since it was orange wines I had to go for it as well as a cheese platter. The cheeses come from Valley Shepard creamery and if you know them you know they are some damn good cheeses. The wines are natural wines btw. And not some that you can find just anywhere. That's what sets this place apart. It's never fun to look at the wine menu and see yellowtail offered ha! All the wines I got were amazing. Cameron brought out the bottles which was nice and talked about each one. He's such a cool laidback guy- you'll feel like you knew him forever. He had his chef , Annie (yes- they introduce themselves !) bring out the cheese platter so she can explain the cheeses. A nice size board with 4 different ones and with this damn good cranberry compote made in house with a few olives, nuts and wheat crackers. The cheeses matched perfectly with the wines. Great choices and I want a gallon of that cranberry compote! I wasn't ready to leave here after I was done with my wine and cheese. I'd miss here and the folks too much haha. So I ordered another drink. This time I got to meet the bartender William. See where I'm going ? This is place has top notch service! I asked him whether I should go for the el manana ( an expresso martini ) or the passion roads ( a mezcal drink ). William recommended the El Manana it's the time of the year for a nice dark espresso drink. I concurred. And William brought me the best espresso martini and one of the best drinks I ever had ! It comes with a piece of truffled Gouda that William added a bit of chocolate on. He outdid himself. And trust me , I found out the cheese dipped into my drink and taking a bite works. Pls try it. I came here to scope out a date place. And they promised to pretend I'm a new patron every time lol. But it's a place I'd come by myself to just enjoy the hip without trying hard to be atmosphere and amazing drinks ! I can't wait to try their food! Prices: well , around the LES it's usually 17-18 for a drink. Here 15 ! And the food prices ? The only thing that is more than 15 is the brisket sliders. And that's bc they look , in pics I see , enough to split or fill you up nicely for dinner. I will get those next time and keep you all posted Love Skye Cafe !

I've been eager to try this new place in LES and we decided their biweekly trivia night would be a fun night to go. The place is a nice combination of cozy, yet cool and nice. Great place for friends or a date night. My friends all commented on how much they loved the vibe. The place is relatively small so I'd recommend making a reservation just in case. I got the Talea Paradise Punch Sour Ale ($9), and my sister got the Passionate Roads cocktail ($15). I love sours so I was happy to see that option on the board, and my sister's cocktail was delicious. They have a great cocktail list to choose from and even some orange wines, which can be hard to find. We also tried the banana bread, which was more like a banana cake in a good way. It was delicious and I'd recommend it to anyone. Overall we loved this place. The owner was super nice, overall atmosphere was great, and the trivia was fun. It's a great addition to Clinton St. and we'll definitely be back to try their happy hour or wine flight Wednesday!

I went to this place when the USA world cup (like THE match that determines if they are still in) was happening. We initially booked a different brunch place but that place was PACKED. I didn't want to wait and it was also pouring outside. I called the nearest other brunch place and this place was the only one that would take us in. The omelette was DIVINE. it was so so yummy and the waiter was so nice to us and was having a conversation about the game and the rain. Overall a super small place but amazing vibes and amazing staff. Will definitely go again!

The ambiance feels straight of the golden age, which is an aesthetic I'm certainly a sucker for. Even their robust cocktail menu fits the bill and is one of the prettiest menus I've ever had the joy of perusing. Staff was able to sit us a little bit ahead of our reservation which was also much appreciated. Wait staff was also very helpful and attentive, I don't think I've ever had my water glass so topped off! Starting off with cocktails, this place is a gin bar through and through and you'd be making a mistake if you didn't try one of their many options. I went with the 10,000 words, which you simply just give a spirit of your choice (I picked gin of course) and whether you antes) wanted your drink shaken or stirred and the bartender does the rest, so a bit of a surprise! I wound up with their version of The Last Word which was delightfully citrusy but I was hoping I'd wind up with something a little more adventurous app things considered. My girlfriend got the blackberry G&T, which was not only very pleasing to look at but delicious to boot. For food, we started with splitting some zucchini blossoms and beef cheek bao buns (both come in portions of 3). Both were tasty, but I love a good bao bun and these were so light and pillowy, I could have just went for an order of those for my main course. For the entree I went for the roasted half chicken, perhaps the most unassuming choice on the menu but this was maybe the best roast chicken I've ever had. Prepared perfectly, cooked to perfection, excellent portion size, and the kicker of it all was the stunning gravy that I was tempted to lick my plate for. Chicken is very easy to screw up, and they nailed it on all fronts here. My girlfriend went for the Valerie Signature burger with white cheddar and this thing did not mess around! A very rich patty, cooked to her temperature of choice served alongside some garlic truffle fries that made an American classic feel just a little more elevated. Our experience was delightful and I'd love to comeback here again, especially to check out more of the cocktail menu and soak in more of that golden age aura the place gives.

Our friends raved about this place and we of course were excited (and a bit skeptical at first) to try it. The concept: no menu + no lights + a few questions = the ultimate cocktail experience. The speakeasy vibe and the dark ambiance really makes this place feel even more exclusive. With just a few tables and the bar setting, you're in for an experience you won't forget (unless you answer the wrong questions and really end up with a drink you don't like HA). This wasn't my case. Of course I described my two favorite things: Negroni + mezcal. The obvious answer would be a mezcal Negroni, but that's not why one comes to a place like Attaboy. Our amazing curator came by to ask us all a few questions, write down a few words in the napkins, and mix up the perfect drink that our master bartender crafts, curates and creates. My drink came as I couldn't possibly imagine. It looked like a Negroni smelled like Oaxaca, with all the smoke simmering up and preparing my sensory experience, leading to the best first sip. Ladies and gentleman, I introduce you to The Devil's Backbone. A perfectly balanced drink I'll never forget, one that is sipped slowly and enjoyed thoroughly. It's sexy, it's smoky it's sipped. Attaboy gave the best mixology experience and we can't wait to be back. Pro tip: be sure to be as vocal as possible, even with ice, so you don't end up with a tiki drink if that's not your vibe.
