A small insect surprisingly came out of the ice as I mix up my mango cheesecake bingsu. I showed the waitress what I found and let them get it, I didn't ask for any replacement nor demanded anything. I asked for the bill, and didn't make a scene, We just want to get out of that place immediately. The most upsetting part was how the Korean guy, probably the owner or manager handled the situation. He came to our table and raised the tone of his voice, being all defensive explaining to us how impossible for an insect to be in the bingsu. I know it was not intentionally placed there, I didn't accuse anyone, but what's with all the hostility? It's as if he was blaming us and we are trying to cheat him. I repeat, We DID NOT ask for anything. Whatever story or theory he wanted us to BELIEVE on how the insect landed there, the FACT remains that there is a found INSECT in my FOOD. I know how I found it. Aside from another fact, that I wasn't able to enjoy the food that I paid for we were embarrassed with how the owner was raising his voice to us. I didn't argue with him coz he wouldn't even let me talk and explain. He was unapologetic, very hostile, arrogant and rude. We paid our bill, let it go and left. So now I'm writing this review for everyone to know how the owner treated us. A foreigner opens up a business in another country and is not equipped with proper training on how to handle situations like this. Let me give you a suggestion. Take the HEAT. 4 WAYS to improve customer service.
