Ice cream never fails to cheer me up after a long day or during a hot summer trip. My first experience of the Italian ice cream Gelato goes back to my elementary days when Italian priests headed my school. They not only supervised the education but the food as well. They placed a Gelato station inside the campus and those were the best years of my elementary days. When Gelatissimo opened in Manila, I knew I had to have a taste as soon as possible and compare it to what I had when I was younger. I ordered a scoop of their Tiramisu after taste testing all the other flavors. It was heavenly, not too sweet for my taste buds. I also like that you can mix different flavors in one cup and experiment. They also give you a loyalty card that rewards you a free Gelato after a certain number of visits. Make sure not to lose it though. read more
