If it's (I think) the owner/manager, I won't even order. I'll just sit down until she's done doing whatever. Surly, unhappy, argumentative, confusing, and absent minded... Off the top of my head. I felt bad for whomever she was "training", and I had to ask twice for the food I'd ordered. The staff had to check with her, because she didn't tell anyone there was good up... And it was just me ordering. No one else. Anyway. You'll know who I mean by sight/feel alone. Just go to one of the many other cafes nearby if you see this person on till. Otherwise? Enjoy the free Wi-Fi (code written to the left of the toll, on the food case), the clean bathrooms, the lovely local tea, the unusual music. Oh, and if you want to practice your French? Come here. There was no option here, but another MTL bakery had that option. As opposed America where one size fits all --- XL always. Anyway, quite disappointing but tasted alright. I suppose it's hard to beat a cannoli from Boston's North End. The coffee was well made but wasn't worth the journey. Perhaps I just had such high hopes.
