And delicious, and everything was $1. No. I was not dreaming. I was doing my weekly shopping at Eastern Market. And I was so happy! I talked to one of the owners (Gary) and his daughter. They were so sweet and more than happy to talk to me and tell me about everything and all of their products. I ended up getting a brownie with chocolate buttercream frosting and walnuts. Oh. My. Gosh. More please! The piece was like six-inch square and was a wallet-friendly dollar. I only wish I would have bought like 12 or more! I was really surprised when I finally tried the brownie because it was "cakey" variety and I generally stand firmly in the 'brownies should be fudgey NOT cakey" camp. It was light but packed a great and rich chocolate flavor. The buttercream was so smooth and flavorful! It tasted like chocolate but the true buttercream flavor still had a place on my palate. The nuts added just the right amount of flavor and texture. Oooohhh man! I am drooling! I knew I liked Bay City before, now, it's on the must stop list for northbound travel!

I was told That was because they added on, like many businesse's are doing now, a 3% charge to use your credit card. That was posted, in tiny print on their menu. For years we were encouraged to use your CC. NOW, we're penalized and charged extra for doing so. In my opinion this business practice is the price of doing business.
