Best Wings in Baton Rouge. Top of the class…read more Great Service. Nice ambiance. Just the Best wings in Baton Rouge, NO question.

On our mini BR trip my friend and I were searching for a place to eat and Valley Wings was a place…read moreclose by that popped up on Yelp. They did not disappoint at all. The service was great (S/o to Macy and the man at the front counter who I'm assuming is the owner). When I asked for more information on certain flavors and how good they were, the server was extremely honest especially when it came to the valley bread. The owner also gave us free samples of the valley bread (first picture below) which is a fresh garlic and Parmesan bread. The vibes were definitely there. Back to the Future and Jurassic Park were playing on the tv, and the writing on the walls gave a unique touch. It kept us entertained by reading different names and sayings. NOW TO THE FOOD!! The pink lemonade was good. It wasn't overly sweet which I love. The kool-aid (not pictured),on the other hand, could have used more sugar personally. There was also blue raspberry lemonade which we didn't try. I appreciated that these drinks were additional options besides the traditional coke products that they do have. The death valley meal was a 12 wing combo w/ fries and a drink. My friend decided on garlic parmesan and the valley sauce as her two flavors. The valley sauce was a light, sticky bbq sauce. It was amazing compared to traditional bbq sauced wings. The sauce wasn't over powering like traditional bbq sauce making the eating experience way better. Now that garlic parmesan?!!! Nothing like wingstop for sure. It's hard to explain but it taste exactly like garlic and parmesan. It doesn't taste fake like other garlic parmesan flavors. One thing I really appreciate about this business is their use of fresh garlic because it's not hard to miss. It adds an extra spark to their dishes. My 10 piece combo with half lemon pepper and honey hot was equally amazing. That flavor was unexplainable!! Usually when I get honey hot (or hot honey) it's always too sweet with no kick. Valley Wings honey hot was a perfect mix of both. The "kick" really got my friend, but for a regular spice consumer this would be great for you. The lemon pepper in my option lacked. I don't know if they didn't put enough season on it or my taste buds were off from the other previous flavors, but I barely tasted any lemon pepper. It was still good chicken but the flavor wasn't present. The regular and Cajun fries had a nice crunch to them but nothing special. They do offer a lot of loaded fry options that looked and sound amazing like chicken Alfredo, Cajun shrimp Alfredo, etc. Definitely another BR go-to restaurants on my list. Pink lemonade: 8/10 Garlic Parmesan: 9.5/10 Valley sauce: 8.5/10 Lemon pepper: 5/10 Honey hot: 9/10 Cajun fries: 5/10

I decided to try on Friday 2/2/24 around 7 pm. There was one other waiting customer inside and a car with customers outside. The place seemed pretty clean. To say it's a new place some of the furniture appears to be used. I tried ordering a cheeseburger but was told they were out of burgers and Poboys. I went with an order of jerk wings combo and an order of plain wings extra crispy with a small fried cauliflower. The order didn't take too long, maybe 15-20 minutes. The staff were friendly. Now on to the taste. The jerk wings were good. Nice flavor, nice size ( not too big and not too small). The plain however were very bland. They had absolutely no seasoning. I asked for them to be fried extra crispy but they were not. I wouldn't get these again. The fried cauliflower was pretty good. They were a little greasy but the flavor was good. I would visit again to try the burger and other items.

Got a to go order of wings today and it was pretty mid. We got 35 wings, Hot, lemon hot, bourbon,…read moreHoney Hot, and Mango habanero. The Sauces just weren't good enough. The lemon hot didn't have enough seasoning to distinguish it from the regular hot. The hot sauces were a bit thin or oily which made it not adhere well to the chicken and softened the skin. The other 3 sauces were similar enough that they were almost indistinguishable. This is a big issue as mango habanero should have habanero heat, and honey hot was just sweet without the heat. The chicken was cooked to the proper doneness wings should be which is a plus. The food was done quickly tho and the wings came with free fries. The restaurant is basically a stripped out version strip mall unit with a giant TV, a few tables, and a counter. It's definitely the type of place I would only take out from. I will say that for what it is, it is relatively cheap. Cheap, quick, and hot food is not a bad combo, just wish it tasted a bit better. Not the best, not the worst, it was mid

Very interested to see how this place works when it's busy. But more on that later…read more Like half of the folks who have reviewed I had sweet heat and lemon pepper wings and fries. Fries were salted with some Cajun spice mix. They could have gone lighter but the fries weren't greasy so no points off from me. The wings were good. Just the right size so you don't have to worry how pumped up on steroids the chickens were before they gave their life for our consumption. Skin was crispy. The spices/sauces were delicious especially the sweet heat, such a nice sneaky little heat. So back to my initial thought it did take some time for the food to come although there were on three other tables. Not a full down of the game but some time. Also they could have been slammed with mobile orders. Who knows? Food was fresh and hot so I am willing to go again but I feel like if I walked in and it was busy and I was hungry I would walk out.
