When I'm traveling, I purposely go out of my way for coffee. It's that important to me and I'd…read moregladly do it anytime. Based on the reviews and seeing that this place roasted their own coffee I was very excited to try it but it left much to be desired. Walked in to a very lively coffee shop, lots of students and they had a very nice sized space. Service was bleh, not very friendly just kind of like "what do you want attitude". Not sure if the college students employed are a little stressed out but you are in the service industry, give people a good experience! Ordered a pour over and an oatmeal cream pie. The pour over was good! Whoever is roasting did a great job highlighting the origin flavors of that coffee and it was brewed well thanks to the automated brewing system they had. The oatmeal cream pie was nothing special. A little hard and couldn't tell if it was old or just a recipe used that made it dense. The worst part for me was at the area you pick up drinks, it was messy and because of that mess there were a lot of little fruit fly looking things flying around. Not the best look for an establishment serving food and coffee. I really wanted to like this place. My coffee was great but a coffee shop is more than the cup. It's the whole experience and unfortunately, it was lacking. If I'm ever back in the area I'd give it a second try to see if it was a one off or not.

Best coffee I've ever had honestly, service is great and good ambience. They roast their own beans…read more Sell local art They make amazing drink combinations and I feel like everyone should give them a try

It means so much to have found my new go-to coffee spot when I'm back in BR. The space itself is perfectly warm, clean, and welcoming. Everything is curated to make you feel like you belong. The coffee, tea, and food choices are perfect. I grabbed an espresso shot and cinnamon roll to stay and an iced matcha latte to go. The espresso was nicely dialed in, the notes were present and the barista served it wonderfully. The cinnamon roll was warmed up and freshly iced before being served. The matcha was so good, and a great choice to takeaway as a treat. The staff here really goes beyond to provide excellent service. This is my new go-to coffee spot in Baton Rouge. Thanks Coffee Joy!

Every table has outlets for devices, the space is open and well laid out with a mix of tables and comfortable couches that invite you to stay. The lighting is soft and warm, and gentle French music in the background creates a charming atmosphere. It's so comfortable it genuinely feels like a home away from home. The menu is thoughtfully curated, featuring seasonal items, genuinely fresh pastries, and excellent savory options. The equipment used to prepare both coffee and tea is top-of-the-line, and the quality shows in every cup. The olives pogača (pronounced pasha in Turkish), topped with sea salt, is truly unique--fluffy, rich, and deeply satisfying. The baklava is served warm and is remarkably soft and easy to enjoy, unlike the usually firm, layered texture you expect. There's also an impressive tea selection with real flavor, loose-leaf options, and specialty coffees, including French press with a choice of beans. Honestly, this place feels like a luxury for this town.

So many tasty looking desserts in the window but we went with the cookies and cream ice cream & Venezuelan cheese sticks to eat inside. Unfortunately the empanadas were sold out (was hoping to try some of those for a small lunch). There were no other hot foods but the cheese sticks were very tasty! The ice cream was delicious as well. Took a churro cheesecake & Dubai chocolate cheesecake home to try later with my family but they had plenty of other options--flan, coconut flan, chocolate flan, variety of cheesecakes & tres leches (including several for Father's Day). There is also a small market attached with cold drinks, frozen items & a variety of shelf items. Will be back to try some coffee drinks & other desserts. And hopefully the empanadas!

It's a small shop that has tons of desserts, as well as come hot food and coffee drinks. As soon as we walked in, we felt welcome. The shop has a cute vibe with lots of greens and pinks. The dessert case was full, which made it difficult to settle on one thing. Alexa offered us samples of each of their tres leches, and I did not know that the flavor would be a little different based on the country of origin. My daughter got a brownie, and I settled on a cheesecake. My cheese cake was creamy and rich. I went with the Nutella one that had Ferraro Rocher's on top for sentimental reasons. It did not disappoint on the flavor. I can't wait to come back and try more of their dessert options and snag a coffee and some empanadas.
