I do not recommend this restaurant on Sherwood Forest Blvd. The cashier (guy) was on his cellphone while taking my order. The wings were dry and lacked sauce. A female worker did attempt to go and get me a sauce and she came back and told me the cook said no. I paid $1.00 to get the sauce just to have enough. The customer service was subpar. My husband works in BR sometimes and found this place so we stop everytime we're passing through. He gets the hot wings and BJ fries which are always good. But I get the garlic arm wings with the VJ fries and put that extra sauce from the wings on the fries. Omgggg it's so good! Food is always made fresh and the staff are usually helpful and sweet. The area looks sketchy but you're safe. There's only 3 tables inside but there's always one free so you can eat there or take Togo. We're from NOLA so we always have to eat there. read more

I would def recommend putting sweet heat on the wings at the end as the redipped wings are not saucy. Those FRIES are the TRUTH!!! Having the bbq and ranch (VJ) really was the star of my meal. The fries are fried perfectly. It was a little crispy on the outside but soft on the inside. The location is close to Southern University so you can feel the college vibes. The staff was friendly and was able to take my order over the phone when I was having issues placing my order online. After I placed my order I was told my order will be ready in 5 minutes even though I ordered well done wings, well ok. The hotel I was at was only 5 minutes away, so I will still give them a try. When I got there I couldn't find parking due to the small lot. I ended up parking on the side of the building and to get out I had to reverse into the Main Street in front of the store. Kinda dangerous! The inside of the building was small with a few booths, hip environment and the vibe was good. Now the orders come out Quik and here's why. I think the precook their wings and drop them in the grease to reheat once ordered. The problem with this method is the wings are soaked in grease and end up soggy, lack of crunch. Taste was not bad but they almost tasted baked. The fries are seasoned but the ranch is horrible, tasted mostly of mayonnaise. Not the best wings but fair. Prices inline with Wingstop and other comparable places. I will give them another try on a future visit and will try wet wings instead of the dry rub and see if they are better. read more

Was shooting a documentary and we pulled up here for a quick bite to eat after we wrapped. The place is small and def a hole in the wall but the wings were tender, juicy and delicious! I got the OG buffalo with regular fries (a small comes with 4 wings) and it was about a 10 minute wait before the food came out. Everything was hot and fresh and the fries had that perfect outside crunch and soft inside. The fries are seasoned with Tony's (or something similar) so they have a bit of a kick to them and the OG buffalo isn't what I would consider "hot" or spicy but it has a really nice flavor. They do drumsticks and "wings" so not just the normal flats that just other wing places do. They do have seating inside but it looked like majority of people got their food to go. You order at the window and they call your number when you're food is ready so make sure you're paying attention! read more

They have these things called VJ fries which is BBQ and ranch fries and I looooove them.
