I decided to order from this spot today for lunch and it was a great choice!! I ordered a 6 pc lemon pepper Wingz Combo all flats, with lite season fries. My order was ready very quickly after ordering, and when I arrived to pick up my order the staff was extremely sweet. My order was neat, and exactly what I ordered. My food was warm, fresh, perfectly seasoned and was amazing. Definitely would order again! read more

Okay. If you're a saucy girl, or guy. This flavor is for you. My wings were SAUCED to perfection. I got garlic Parmesan and they were the best I've ever had. I don't typically order that flavor but someone suggested it and I'm so glad I listened. FANTASTIC! I also got the BBQ and ranch fries. Yummy! I haven't had a chance to order again, but I'm anticipating that garlic parm again! Yummmm! Prices weren't to bad either! read more

Empire Wingz - OG REDIPPED LUNCH SPECIAL - Chicken Wings Near Me - Baton Rouge, Louisiana

I do not recommend this restaurant on Sherwood Forest Blvd. The cashier (guy) was on his cellphone while taking my order. The wings were dry and lacked sauce. A female worker did attempt to go and get me a sauce and she came back and told me the cook said no. I paid $1.00 to get the sauce just to have enough. The customer service was subpar. I will not return until new staff comes around. read more

Fast friendly This was my very first time trying the wings here. They were cooked to perfection. I got the garlic Parmesan and the spicy barbecue. I asked they be fried extra crispy and they were perfect. I don't have much more to say. If you are ever in Baton Rouge Louisiana give them a try. read more

Fresh food and worth the wait. My favs were original, Lemon pepper, garlic Parmesan, and bbq.

The wings were good --crispy, flavorful, and with a variet. Each bite was a treat! However, the service was quite slow. It took a while for our order to arrive, which was a bit frustrating. On the bright side, the staff was friendly and had great attitudes, which helped make the wait more bearable. If you have some time and patience, the wings are definitely worth it! read more

Overrated. Compared with others places, the wings are ok. Not top of the class. Service was slow. Ambiance was ok. The food was regular. read more

My daughter and I ate the boneless wings and fries from there and it made us sick. I threw all of it back up and my daughter did as well. Never getting it again. read more

We love some Empire Wingz! One of my favorite wings spots! You must try! Good food. Good service.

Service is a tad lacking and the lack of urgency when preparing food is annoying also. food is pretty decent though.

My husband works in BR sometimes and found this place so we stop everytime we're passing through. He gets the hot wings and BJ fries which are always good. But I get the garlic arm wings with the VJ fries and put that extra sauce from the wings on the fries. Omgggg it's so good! Food is always made fresh and the staff are usually helpful and sweet. The area looks sketchy but you're safe. There's only 3 tables inside but there's always one free so you can eat there or take Togo. We're from NOLA so we always have to eat there. read more

These wings are absolutely amazing. Empire Wingz has the best wings in Baton Rouge. The flavor of these wings are so good that any ranch or blue cheese dipping sauce would ruin them. It took less than 5 minutes to get my order. I was extremely surprised at how quick they came out. These wings were fresh, crispy, and tasty. It doesn't matter which location you visit, the wings are good. It's definitely worth driving a little out of the way to get these wings. read more

The food was good... good and wrong. I do not recommend you order over the phone because they won't make it until you walk in which i understand why but why would you take a phone order and then have me come in and pay for a phone order and it being wrong. And before you ask if i checked my food? Yes i did that's how we ended up here on yelp writing the review and don't get me wrong unlike my order they did remake the food but threw the original one away and all she had to do is add the sauces to the fries which she wrote down but didn't charge me for so i had to wait in line again to give her the 2 dollars and 50 cents. I believe that the cashier Mrs Gwen is not accustomed to a fast paced environment. read more

Great wings if you out by Southern University stop by and get you some wings. Quick service and they have good sauce flavors

Seriously the pictures on yelp is what drew me in to this place. I got the Redipped wings and vj fries. The redipped fries are fried then sauced in OG sauce then retried . I would def recommend putting sweet heat on the wings at the end as the redipped wings are not saucy. Those FRIES are the TRUTH!!! Having the bbq and ranch (VJ) really was the star of my meal. The fries are fried perfectly. It was a little crispy on the outside but soft on the inside. The location is close to Southern University so you can feel the college vibes. The atmosphere seemed like a great place to hangout on game days and the staff was very courteous. The food took little to no time at all as was every order after us. read more

Great wings, cooked just the way I like them. Just thought they were a bit overpriced, $15 for ten wings. That's $1.50 each! read more

Great customer service, and a good looking staff. First time there, I had lemon pepper wings without the spice and there fancy fries. I was impressed on how well their sauces (barbecue and ranch sauce) worked well as a topping. read more

The staff was friendly and was able to take my order over the phone when I was having issues placing my order online. After I placed my order I was told my order will be ready in 5 minutes even though I ordered well done wings, well ok. The hotel I was at was only 5 minutes away, so I will still give them a try. When I got there I couldn't find parking due to the small lot. I ended up parking on the side of the building and to get out I had to reverse into the Main Street in front of the store. Kinda dangerous! The inside of the building was small with a few booths, hip environment and the vibe was good. Now the orders come out Quik and here's why. I think the precook their wings and drop them in the grease to reheat once ordered. The problem with this method is the wings are soaked in grease and end up soggy, lack of crunch. Taste was not bad but they almost tasted baked. The fries are seasoned but the ranch is horrible, tasted mostly of mayonnaise. Not the best wings but fair. Prices inline with Wingstop and other comparable places. I will give them another try on a future visit and will try wet wings instead of the dry rub and see if they are better. read more

They're cutting wings in half and selling the pieces. Flavor is great but not worth the price.

Tried this place on doordash, and it was awesome. Very good quality boneless wings. Good bbq and garlic parm sauce. Fries were very good, I'd buy from the place again. read more

Garbage service and terrible wings. I guess I should have expected this by the rudeness of the employees. Absolutely avoid this business if at all possible. I was really wanting to like this place as it is close to my job. I was definitely dissatisfied with the service, food quality and cleanliness of the facility. As previously stated, I'd avoid this establishment at all Costs. read more

Chicken taste baked. I would buy again. Plus don't smell like they frying nothing. I would give a 2 out of 5 at best.

Legit my favorite wing place in town !!! Heard about it from a co-worker not to long ago which had me wanting to try it! I got the 8 wing combo with VJ French fries( barbecue sauce and ranch drizzled on it ). The sweet heat sauce is all I ever get it legit is the best wing sauce out of any place in BR. It has the buffalo spice with slight sweetness to give it another flavor aspect you don't see coming. They wrap it in foil so it stays hot up until you get home to devour the delicious wings and fries! read more

My new favorite wing spot! Near Southern University, this hidden gem packs lots of flavor. The wings are delicious boneless or traditional with lots of heat ranges. I'm also a fan of the fries! Always seasoned to perfection. Always hit and amazing read more

Empire Wingz - OG and spicy honey bbq - Chicken Wings Near Me - Baton Rouge, Louisiana

Was shooting a documentary and we pulled up here for a quick bite to eat after we wrapped. The place is small and def a hole in the wall but the wings were tender, juicy and delicious! I got the OG buffalo with regular fries (a small comes with 4 wings) and it was about a 10 minute wait before the food came out. Everything was hot and fresh and the fries had that perfect outside crunch and soft inside. The fries are seasoned with Tony's (or something similar) so they have a bit of a kick to them and the OG buffalo isn't what I would consider "hot" or spicy but it has a really nice flavor. They do drumsticks and "wings" so not just the normal flats that just other wing places do. They do have seating inside but it looked like majority of people got their food to go. You order at the window and they call your number when you're food is ready so make sure you're paying attention! read more

Delicious food and friend service! Top tier ch omen wings if you are a lover of chicken!

OMG this places makes the best boneless wings I have ever had. I have tried almost every single flavor of the boneless wings and have loved every single one! They have these things called VJ fries which is BBQ and ranch fries and I looooove them. I also dip my regular fries in the ranch because somehow their ranch just tastes so much better than regular ranch. Sometimes the wait can be long when they are busy because they cook everything to order, but it is worth the wait. They can get crowded sometimes because they are so popular. When it is crowded like that, it might be hard to find a place to park, so many people just park next door by Jack in the Box since the lots connect. read more

This place is cool, for a college student type palate. My niece suggested it (she's a F-su) grad, so this was her go to spot as an undergraduate jaguar. The flavor of the spicy honey bbq sauce was EXCELLENT! The fries, were lightly seasoned, which was disappointing, and the prices were high, for the portion size. They were pretty busy, a few hours before a big football game, so the service took about 15-20 minutes before I got my food. read more

The wings are great. Garlic Parmesan is my favorite. The fries with ranch and BBQ sauce are great too.
