I like their wings and rice. I have never ordered and had a good experience, they will sit there and stare at you while talking on their phone and be mad because they have to stop talking on the phone to take your order. I'm glad their food doesn't suck as much as their service does. read more

If you are in the mood for chicken this is the place that will satisfy your taste buds ! The chicken is also cooked to perfection and with a little kick of spice. The staff is very friendly and always ready to take care of any questions. Will always make the trip to get loaded up on my chicken fix. They also have tator log, turkey wing, red beans and rice, chicken livers, and a lot more of delicious food. Will not go wrong stopping by and get your chicken fix read more

You can tell this is a local favorite and rightfully so! Chicken was fresh, spectacularly well-seasoned, and you definitely don't want to get anything less than 25 pieces because you're going to be hooked! Walking in you can go around the corner to grab a bottled drink while you wait in line to order at the counter. The entry is a little awkward for standing room and ordering but it is worth every bit of waiting. There is a small dining room you can utilize but most people took their orders to go. Also definitely try the egg rolls! Mind blowing! 10 out of 10 on everything. read more

June 1, 2025 - ordered legs and thighs and when I got home I noticed they were refried chicken. It was far most the worst chicken we have bought. Cashier was arguing with one of the employees. Simply terrible business. read more

I went to a picnic and a friend brought these wings to share, and I instantly fell in love. She had to wait over an hour to get her order because it was a Saturday but it was worth the wait. After that awesome experience we decided to visit the store ourselves. It's not in the most desirable place and you don't come here for the atmosphere that's for certain. The inside is dark, and outdated, and very few people who visit actually sit down and stay to eat they just take it to go. For how cheap the food is I understand why they run the way they do. They keep the food in a deli style warming case, don't let this fool you though. Nothing in that case sits for long, and even if they have the food you're ordering in the case chances are people have already purchased it and are waiting for it at the pick up window. Be prepared to wait, but don't worry it's worth it. We came in around 4pm and ooey gooey cake was sold out. So we ended up ordering 12 wings, 12 potato logs, a couple sides of ranch, a bag of cracklins, and a boudin link. Everything was so fresh and delicious. I have yet to have a link of boudin I enjoyed until I had theirs, it was delicious. The potato logs are the size of an extra large potato cut into quarters, and are cooked and seasoned to perfection. The cracklins were delicious. The wings are amazing, perfectly crunchy and seasoned. Next time I come I want to try the chicken tenders they seemed pretty popular. read more

Best fried chicken wings and potato logs in town! Also the largest selection of soda, juices, lemonade and punch.

First off I will say they have some very good southern style fried wings. Not the best I've ever had, but they aren't far off. They are supposed to be fresh never frozen and they taste as such. "Crack wings", wings so good they are as addictive as crack! (Just repeating what I've been told). Secondly, if you don't want to wait for 30-40 minutes, call ahead. I will say I had a rather large order and it appeared the average wait time was unde10 minutes. Again, if you plan to order over 12 wings, call ahead. The wings were piping hot and seasoned almost perfectly. They also offer many other fried southern comfort foods as well. Not so healthy for you, but it's a great cheat meal..... So now I must put in 24 hours of cardio and fast for two days! I'll definitely go back as soon as my cholesterol goes back down to my usual 140'ish. As for now, I'm almost in a carb coma. In all seriousness though, they have excellent wings and they get you in and out as quickly as possible. read more

I recommend going to the one on blue bonnet. Food is always hot and fresh..don't forget to try the egg rolls. The chicken and shrimp fried rice is my go to. Other locations may vary. This one is by far my favorite location. The inside is nice and clean and you can watch them hard at work in the kitchen. Always friendly and smiling. read more

The person preparing the food for the customers could improve, instead of standing there with your pink headphones on, acting like you didn't apply for that job and taking a lunch break in plain view of the customers, While we are waiting over 30 min for 12 wings.. This is not your company, you are employed by those people, so do your best and stop doing stupid things at the front counter. read more

Best fried chicken around and the potato logs walked in with a big order and didn't have to wait long at all

The custome service at this location is horrible! I waited over 45 minutes for my food and still didn't get it! at that point I just got my money back ...they skip over your number and then when I asked about my food "oh your ticket must've fell" then when I go back up there the second time they're like "oh we're waiting on logs" ....waited for another 15 minutes a whole pan of logs are up but NOBODY had the decency to even try to fix the food! do better! read more

Good I must say! Overly long wait time! No phone orders accepted! Dang! On the spicy side but just right! Shrimp fried rice ok! Tastes like a basil thyme season added for that extra kick! Expected more rice for the price! Good though! read more

Best friend chicken in the state of Louisiana. Better than Popeye's. I said what I said. Y'all better not sleep on this place.

This chicken reminds me of home. I like that they sell wings and not wing parts. Too many places are charging too much money for flats and drums. The service and quality for this place is awesome! read more

Chicken wings are a bit spicy, great taste. Try the cracklings also while you are there.

This place has the best chicken wings in Baton Rouge , every time I come home I have to eat here ! The potato logs are the best I can't find nothing like this anywhere . I live in Houston now but this is my first stop when coming back home and my last stop when I'm about to leave . The red beans are good , the fried pig tails good , the turkey wings good !!! You can't go wrong here !!! read more

I have been living in Baton Rouge 27 1/2 years and I have never had the Blue Store (I know I know) until this March and I am hooked! I started coming at least once a week but had to stop because it didn't align with my workout routine They are quick and even if you have to wait it isn't that long but you will smell like fried foods when u leave. I have tried the wings, drumsticks, and the potato logs. Everything is good but the wings are the BEST. Idky the drumsticks taste different ‍ Very affordable! I want to try other things on the menu but when I come they are always putting out hot chicken wings. They should have a food truck for events and festivals I recommend this place...you will not be disappointed read more

Best wings ever. I have never tasted wings with this seasoning and flavor. Love the fried rice as well as the red beans and rice. I don't leave in BR but if I did I would be a regular. read more

The Blue Store hands down has the BEST fried chicken wings in Baton Rouge. However, unless you catch them during a down time you will be waiting or you can go try one of their newer locations. I've tried other food on their menu but nothing tops the chicken wings with potato logs. read more

The fried chicken wings are so good! No matter the time of day, the wings are always fresh. I've never had anything from here that wasn't seasoned and fresh. You must stop by if you're in the area. Tip: If you're trying to smell fresh and clean, don't go inside! You'll def leave smelling like fried. LOL ! Gotta love it! read more

Awesome wings!! The potato wedges are fried on the outside and deliciously creamy on the inside. Really good!!

Great chicken for great price! Tasty sides like egg rolls and potatoes wedges. Red beans are good if you can get it before it runs out.

This is not a five-star restaurant by any means, but the wings are def worth the rating. Coming from NOLA, I could eat Manchu's any day of the week. This is the Manchu of Baton Rouge - except it tastes even better! They only offer fried wings and honey bbq(?) sauced wings. My husband was ready to take this place off his list of wingeries when he discovered that they didn't offer super hot sauced wings, but at a friend's insistence we tried them any way. We ate 18 wings between the two of us. He also brought a tray to work to share with his crew and they were equally impressed. There is seating at this location, but it seems most of their food is take-out. read more

Driving back to Dallas, we wanted to stop at an authentic fried chicken restaurant. This place did not disappoint! Holy smokes! The fried chicken (got a combo box) was unbelievable. Best chicken we've had. It was crispy, golden, had a little spicy kick to it, so much flavor and moist. Don't think we will find chicken like that anytime soon. read more

The chicken is really good and tasty. The log fries are sooooo bomb! My brother ranted and raved about this place and it didn't disappoint.

The chicken was fried well. What I didn't like was the extra salt they shake on it after it's fried. The chicken was already seasoned well so the extra salt on the outside was major overkill. It was almost inedible. The prices are very reasonable though. read more

This place is incredible!! They have the absolute best chicken I've ever had! The batter is well seasoned and it is fried to perfection every time. read more

Please don't go to a steak house and order tacos. Likewise, don't go to Triplet's and not order the wings. That's not to say everthing else is not good, it may be, but the wings are outstanding! Go hungry and order 10 more than you think you'll eat (they heat great in the conventional oven) read more

Simply the best chicken wings I have ever tasted, and truly can't imagine how they could be topped. The crispiness of the breading, the seasoning, and level to which the chicken was cooked was all to perfection. In general, I am not a huge fan of chicken because I have been to so many places that over cook it, don't get the flavoring right, and the breading isn't crispy enough. I'm not gonna consume all that fat unless it's some GOOD fried chicken. And, well, this place DELIVERED. Chicken so tender and juicy it falls straight off the bone. If you're looking for an unforgettable meal and you are anywhere near The Blue Store, make the trip and get the wings--you won't regret it. read more
