Way out of the way from the tourist track (though a lovely walk along the river to get here) we found an excellent Austrian breakfast. There wasn't a breakfast/brunch menu--just a few people at the bar at 10am-- but they were happy to fulfill our request for "a typical Austrian breakfast". It was scrumptious and powered us up for walking and biking the city. The out-of-the-way friendliness made for a real travel treasure.
