    Simply said, this place never disappoints. Great service and even more amazing delicious food.

    Good service. Good food. Variety of drinks. Friendly staff. The menu is great. I've tried a few menu items and have yet to be disappointed. Though the food may take a little while to arrive it's definitely worth the wait, as it's cooked to order.

    Impromptu spot for hubby and I. It was AMAZING! Service was as great. Meal was awesome and good price for portions. Drink menu was also a great value. Must do if in the neighborhood!!

    White tablecloths, bread from the bakery in Jersey, olives from Portugal. This place is legit.

    Fancy food. White tablecloth in a neighborhood I didn't expect to find that in. Authentic flavors. Recommend the fish and the pork. Probably a taste of home for Portuguese. It was almost empty at lunchtime during the week. Lots of takeout business I hear. High quality.

    An incredible restaurant with HUGE portions. The seafood is a must. The chorizo is a must. The steak is a must. Whatever you get will not disappoint you. Everything is done with with excellence. Make sure to end it with a cafecito (a coffee with milk). The parking will be a little tough unless you park at the PNC back off hours. The interior is nothing remarkable but the food will more than makes up for it. The service is a little slow but the waiters are incredible kind and accommodating. We had Eddy for a server and he was on point! This is a must for anyone who loves flavorful, latin cuisine.

    Clams in red sauce, The sauce is amazing !!!!!!

    Amazing Portuguese food . Place just got remodeled and looks great . You can eat upstairs or downstairs . I love the clams in red sauce well it's more like the sauce is awesome ... Lol grilled salmon fillet is so good , garlic shrimp .. If you are a seafood eater then this is the place to be . Prices are reasonable for the amount of food they give you . Parking is always a problem but it's definitely worth the time going around the block a couple of times . (;

    This place was delicious. authentic Portuguese food in the dining area upstairs. Downstairs is a full sports bar where you can also dine. We ordered the Traditional Cod and it was fresh and amazing. Portions were fairly big too! For dessert my friend ordered the espresso and said it was awesome.

    It's an traditional Portuguese cuisine...

We came specifically to try the tapas and loved every dish we ordered. My husband's favorite was the Gambas al Ajillo. He loved it so much that he ordered a second plate immediately after finishing the first. I couldn't decide between the Bruselas Catalana and the Coca de Alcachofas, loved both, and would definitely order both again. The overall experience exceeded our expectations and was totally worth the visit.

The ambiance of Amada's is very "date night intimate". The lighting is fairly dim and the temperature of the restaurant is kept a bit warmer (the open marches concept probably also has something to do with that). It is tapas style so whole my boyfriend and I waited for the paella, we got a few plates to graze on. We started with a charcuterie with the jamon Serrano and manchego cheese. Im a big fan of truffle honey and you can't really go wrong with a simple charcuterie. We also got the setas and ensalada Verde. The mushrooms were well sautéed and the sauce they were served with was absolutely delicious. The ensalada verde was very much green heavy but thats exactly what we wanted. It was auite refreshing and the oil dressing wasn't overpowering the taste or making it feel greasy. The Paella we got was the squid ink rice - very flavorful. There was shrimp, clams, squid, and chucks of monk fish. It didn't feel like the seafood was skimped on. The only thing I personally felt was too much was the spicy mayo dallops. I felt like they made the dish feel heavier than necessary and overpowered the taste of the rice. The arroz con Leche was divine. Im biased because I love rice pudding but I think adding the puffed rice on touch was such a nice touch.

    Address says Hamilton, but it's definitely the area that's at least bordering Trenton. Parking…read moresituation, one-way streets, stuff in proximity and the locale being pretty close to the river seems to point to that. Kind of felt the need to put that out there, it's not really a suburban location. That said, echoing some of the others I'm reading snippets of, WOW to everything - the service, the food, the ambiance. It's got charm when you walk in, looks old but not dated. The waitstaff is super friendly, has some jokes, multi-talented (they brought out the guitar a few times to wish some other folks happy birthday), and knowledgeable. The food is really good - everything I tried was just delicious. For the table, we ordered some calamari and empanadas, and both were good. Drinks were also tasty - that sangria was really good, and the mojito (love that they had it available, first of all!) was also a hit. I would double-click on that sangria, though. For my entree, I ordered their whole fish, which was not only delicious but HUGE. I ate about half of it and was full. Then my friend and I split an order of limoncello cake (I think that's what it was), which was on point, and ended w/ espresso, also good. Overall, everything about that place was great, and when I mentioned a Spanish place in Trenton the next morning to some guys I was with, one of them asked, was it Malaga? That was just another great review, for a local guy to know what I was talking about just by description. Bravo, I think some of us may be back sometime!

The steak on a hot stone was great and was what I wanted! Love the mushroom sauce on the side. The seafood and rice was great. Garlic shrimp and chorizo apps were great as well. The service was outstanding from start to finish -- warm, knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely enthusiastic about the food. The restaurant has a very open kitchen, and several of the chefs took time to show us what they were doing and explain the preparation. They were excited to talk about the paella pans, the saffron and sofrito rice base, the wood-and-charcoal fire, and the way the dishes were finished. They clearly take pride in the food and enjoy sharing that with guests. We had the pão with cardamom-chile butter, roasted oysters, garlic shrimp, picanha, the meatball paella, and olive-oil tres leches cake, along with Alvarinho wine and a draft beer. The paella rice itself was excellent, with a very good socarrat and a strong wood-fired character. The pork-and-beef meatballs were good on their own, though for me the combination was a little unusual and I would choose a different paella variation next time. Always changing paella of the day. Seafood would excite me when available. The picanha, oysters, shrimp, bread, and dessert were also all very good. The whole restaurant operated as a team. That added a lot to the experience because the people serving the food really understood how it was prepared. Even small details were thoughtful. Our leftovers were kept at the host stand and we were given a numbered claim disc to retrieve the bag on the way out -- a simple idea that avoids having takeout bags sitting on the table or floor. I had never seen that done before. Overall, Lita delivered very good food with exceptional hospitality. The open kitchen, wood-and-charcoal cooking, and interaction with the chefs made the meal feel personal and memorable. We would definitely return, especially to try another paella variation.
