Old croissant and soggy coffee cake.
    Lisa A.

Absolutely horrible! I walked in on a Sunday morning. They had very little to offer, so I purchased a croissant and a coffee cake. Each was seven dollars for a total of $14. Absolute garbage. Tasted like plastic warmed up and I will never return to this place again.

Immediately, points for having a parking lot! Cafe Largesse is a cute spot pretty south in Austin, and they do an amazing job of combining the feel of both a cafe and restaurant. It's somewhere you can get dinner with friends, but with all the natural lighting and smaller tables, I could definitely see people also coming here to work or to get some brunch. And I do think people come here earlier in the day. We came around 6pm on a Tuesday and there were a good amount of empty tables around. I feel like the move here is to order a coca. I previously had no idea what a coca was, but I'm so glad to have tried it! It's like a flatbread, but I feel like the bread part is more like a pita kind of. But all the flavors looked so good, I wanted to just try all of them. We ended up getting the short rib and the prosciutto + burrata. The short rib was my personal favorite. I loved the caramelized onions, especially with the pickled jalapeños and tender short rib. I especially appreciate the pickled jalapeños being chopped so small, so that you don't have to struggle to bite through the piece. It also lightens up the garlic aioli, which can feel pretty heavy considering its a lot of mayo. The prosciutto + burrata was really good too, with the sweet peppers, pickled onions, and tomato jam. But the burrata felt kind of non existent. I could see it, but it was spread really thin, so I didn't necessarily taste it. Especially because I was expecting like bigger lumps of cheese. If there was more, it would have balanced the sweetness and acidity perfectly. The only thing is that with the jam and pesto, the bread was faster to get more soggy. The sides we got were okay. The roasted broccolini was good flavor wise, but there was just way too much oil. I had to drip each piece before I ate it. The potatoes were alright too. I feel like the inside could have been softer, and the outside could have been crispier. And just the fact that it was $8 for 5 small potatoes felt kind of criminal. Their cafe drinks looked really good, although also kind of pricey. But I would definitely try some if I came earlier in the day!

First visit. Plenty of parking. Reservations recommended for groups. Plenty of 2 tops were available. Cozy place. Drive thru, coffee bar, full bar. Mimosa carafe is the way to go. Friends enjoyed their spicy bloody Mary's. Food was great! Crab cake Benedict was on point. Plenty of lump crab, perfect poached eggs, and a zingy Hollandaise. Sweet service with a few bumps in the road but overall a great experience. As they're 10 minutes from la casa, Cafe Largesse is going to get plenty of repeat business from us.

I ordered the short rib and it was wonderful, and the crust was so light & crispy. The sauce on top was great and the pickled jalapeños had a nice punch to it. My friend ordered a side of fresh jalapeño slices that we added on top and it elevated the Coca. For drinks I went with a strawberry matcha! It was very visually pleasing and tasted great too. I can appreciate that the strawberry flavor stood out, but it was a tad too sweet. There's a parking lot out front and it's in a tiny shopping center with a few other businesses. Our server Kia! Was an absolute star, so personable and friendly!!

I've visited Cafe Largesse on two separate occasions. The first time I went for a private event where I got to try the cocas. They were sample size but quite tasty! I went a second time to bring my husband for breakfast. We shared the breakfast sandwich and smoked salmon benedict. Both were very sizable and filling. I only wished the benedict was a bit lighter since the sauce was heavy. We also got the shaken espresso which was so big we shared it. I loved the glass it came with! Service was attentive and quick! Cute date spot though a bit hidden in the neighborhood.

I had a delicious breakfast sandwich that really hit the spot! It came on a perfectly toasted croissant, loaded with fluffy eggs, plenty of crispy, flavorful bacon, melted cheese, and a creamy aioli sauce that tied everything together. Super satisfying breakfast meal. 'd definitely get it again.

Tasty food and fun new spot! It waa a peaceful, cozy setting after the main dinner rush. We were greeted by the friendly employees as soon as we talked in. The chef even talked to us directly about allergies and assured us he could accommodate. Started with the bread which came with a wonderful fig jam (hint, save some for later!). Next was the short rib coca. Each slice was packed with incredible flavors! To top that off, i put a little fig jam on each slice making it even more epic with every bite. Next we had patatas bravas and broccolini, both so tasty. And finally the salmon which was cooked perfectly medium. The food is is definitely elevated, unique, and modern. I cant wait to come back and try the eggs Benedict for brunch. Oh and they avoid seed oils!! Dine in peace.

Far removed from the madness of the city, yet still within city limits, Cafe Largesse really feels like a departure from the norm. It's certainly a departure from the usual routine for me, being a very solid drive away and not exactly nearby much else. Sprawling green and country club vibes permeate, but it's much more inviting and inclusive than that sounds. I was genuinely impressed by the fact that they had vegan cheese to put on top of their escalivada coca, which is a veggie-covered Catalan flatbread. The roasted eggplant and caramelized onions were the highlights, coming together to make a satisfying meal. I did think it was a bit on the sweet side, but an additional pinch of salt helped to balance things out. Seems like a great spot for morning coffee or happy hour drinks with a robust bar and espresso program at the back. Quiet, cool, calm, and clean, it would be a cozy place to camp out for a bit, and staff are kind enough that I don't think they'd mind. For an everyday kind of getaway, I'd happily return!

The muhammara is worth a try. It's flavorful and smell delicious. The breads which come with the muhammara are nicely warm. It's a small detail, but it shows how they care about the food. The cocas are the highlight of this place. They don't go cheap on the ingredients, which explains the prices :) Overall a very nice experience. I'll be back for more.

Let me just start by saying INCREDIBLE!!! I don't know why I was a bit skeptical when researching about this new restaurant but wow, their concept, their service, their menu and the flavor blow my mind and my taste buds! Everything was so fresh and flavorful, and the place is so charming that picture does not do justice. No words can describe how delicious the dishes are. You just have to try it for yourself. Didn't realize they offer happy hour but to our surprise, the pizzas (coca) are all half off during happy hour which runs 4-6pm I believe. Our server recommended the shrimp & chorizos coca (5/5) and we are so pleased with our choice to go with it. Love the way they place the shrimp and align a shrimp to each serving/slice. The garlic aioli is a nice topping for this dish. Clever, flavorful and perfect! Just like many others, we also tried the Short ribs Coca (5/5) . Love the nice balanced flavor of the braised beef short ribs, sweetness of caramelized onion and a light kick of the pickled jalapeños. Take this with a grain of salt but my husband is gluten sensitive and this coca flat bread did not give him any issues! This is huge for us! With that said, they also offer GF crust but we did not opt for that as we wanted to get the full experience with the standard bread. We got to try their spicy mango margarita (5/5) and the El Diablo (5/5) and both are well made. Good alcohol used as neither of us got any headaches after. We also got the bourbon glazed pork tenderloin (5/5) and it was the highlight of our dinner. Chef's kiss!! Perfectly cooked pork meat with peach and hot honey relish. So much flavor. The grits polenta was a bit under seasoned but it seems intentional as it pairs so well with the tenderloin. We would order it again when we come back! Ended our meal with the affogato torte which is amazing too.

We came in when it was a little slower, but it started being a little busy soon after. The server was really nice and helpful! Some other staff members (maybe managers) also checked on us here there as well! We got a Strawberry Matcha and Dirty Chai. Both were really good, I really liked that matcha had a real strawberry puree, not a syrup. For the food, we got Breakfast Sandwitch and a Chicken Panini. Both were great! A little messy but in a good way. Just be ready with a napkin on your lap! I really liked the chicken panini, the bread was the right amount of fluffy on the inside and crunchy on the outside, very well seasoned chicken! It's pretty far out from where I'm usually located but if I'm in the area I would definitely return

The food here came out surprisingly well. I say this because I don't really expect much from sandwiches. The complementary croissant sandwich was my favorite vs the chicken flat bread. The other menu choices also sounded really good. All the quiches on the menu were sold out, so I will be back to try that. As for drinks, the spiked chai and matcha were great. Glad I started my morning caffeine here. Interior is also really nice feels very comfortable. All the staff were quick and friendly. Did not feel slow at all. There are literally no restaurants in this area so it's nice that there's a good one that also has good coffee.

10/10. Cafe Largesse is so pleasant. I first found this new local business from a Yelp event Summer 2025. I have been back since and highly recommend this cafe. The drive through Barton Creek to get there is just beautiful. They have a parking lot and it's easy to get in/out of. They also recently built a nice patio out front for when the weather is cool out! You are greeted when you go in and can sit at a table, the bar, or go right up to the coffee bar to place an order. They had a lunch special when I visited most recently and I loved the toasted tuna salad sandwich and fig/goat cheese salad. The spanish pizzas (cocas) are amazing! I loved the veggie one especially with a glass of wine. Our server Roo was great. Very personable and quick. You can see the chefs cooking in the kitchen right in front of you. They have a unique wine list and fun cocktails like a matcha spritz. I signed up for their emails and have been eyeing up their wine dinners, supper club meals, and new live music coming soon. The food is super fresh and does not use seed oils. This is a hidden gem that I will not gatekeep. Can't wait to visit for dinner next!

This is the third time I have come here and the food was awful. The bruschetta has gone from being an amazing array of tastes to this sad Soviet Union dish. The goat cheese was a sad amount, the salmon was sparse and salty like gefilte, the prosciutto looked grey. My crispy chicken sandwich was uninspired, cold and tasted like I was eating out of a food truck during my lunch break. My friends sandwich was Cuban and was soggy and wet and cold the meat looked gray. Last time I was here I ordered a pizza the crust was wet and soaked with grease. I was only able to eat two. I also had a glass of prosecco and half of a glass my friend could not drink. A couple of friends had wine flights. Both the food and drink was very satisfying. The ceiling fan got broken after it hit the string lights and one of the propellers broke and suddenly flew to my face, luckily I saw it and just turned around but still hit my neck to shoulder area. It was a huge, thick fan propeller and I don't think people will understand this if you didn't experience or saw it in person. Everybody was in shock and panicky because no one is turning off that ceiling fan even if it was still broken and hit ME on my neck! My family had to shout a few times just so everyone is aware to turn off the ceiling fan! Other than that, one of the staff members were a little bit nosy and staring at us and giving us that annoying look! And that's unacceptable and inappropriate. To conclude this, someone needs to be liable.. definitely not coming back to any restaurants named after this company in future.
