Ham and Cheese Crepe
Eugene B.

I love this kozy place:) Not noisy. We sat at the bar table closest to the window on snowy weekend morning. The Illy brand lattes was a great start:) We ordered Ham and Cheese Crepe and Breaded Prosciutto. What a perfect combination to spark conversations! Our host was lovely and we even ordered another set of lattes to go!

A reliable neighborhood spot. Love the ambiance during summer time. In their cute patio best fit with some aperol spritz. The service can sometimes be spotty but people are generally nice. My favorites are club sandwich and breaded prosciutto crepe (throws a curve ball at you... I didn't expect the crepe to look like this! But delicious!)

Really nice neighborhood cafe spot with tasty sandwiches and a little French vibe. Nice spot to recharge in.

The espresso martinis are legit and have a shimmer of glitter! Super cute and the service is wonderful.

3.5 - good vibes for sure when the weather is nice! They have outdoor seating. Got the club sandwich and a Margarita pizza. I will say the margarita is literally just a cheese pizza. Would not get that again tbh but the club sandwich was good w the fries! The water and condiments u get urself but the staff was friendly.

basically pulled off the street by the vibes at Korzo - absolutely savoring these last couple days of outdoor seating. this is such a cute spot to relish in the warmth, people watch, and have a drink - the cocktail menu is lengthy and they have several wines. definitely a great spot for an Aperol spritz or a French 75. good happy hour too. - people around us were splitting the pizzas which looked thin and crispy and were large pies. the savory crêpes looked crunchy and warm, definitely a unique menu item! - the Mediterranean burger is $21 which was a bit off-putting but the serving is HUGE. it's a pound of moist delectable seasoned smashed sausage sitting in an oily thin pita-like bread. - the thick cheese spread side was so rich and creamy with a very slight tang that went perfectly with the peppery jam sauce - the cevapi is five stubby sausages inside the same pita bread. it comes with the same awesome sauces and is a smaller serving size. the sausages were succulent and each bite oozed flavor. - overall the menu is perfect for lunch or a happy hour. a sandwich or a split pizza with drinks. I think it's a dangerous place to go to for dinner as a simple Caesar salad with chicken is about $23. if they drop the prices of their salads, maybe I wouldn't have been so surprised by the menu.

Great little cafe in the neighborhood. The patio was full and very clean. Excellent service l. The server was a tall pretty woman who was super friendly and pleasant and hustling her butt off successfully covering the entire place on her own. The offerings were excellent and they had some very original crepes I've never seen before. Really good. Good sized portions and quality ingredients. Wonderful egg sandwich on croissant with a beautiful side salad. The avocado toast was outstanding. Presentation excellent. The crepes truly unique and wonderful. Kudos to the chef! I'll definitely stop in again this week. It may be one my new go to in the hood.

Espresso Martini

Came here for dinner on a Friday night. It was busy and the cafe is small and cozy, so it may be difficult to find a seat. It's a very casual vibe. The service was good and fast. The espresso martini was a bit too sweet for my liking but I loved the presentation. The pizza was delicious - the cheese pull on it could go on forever.

The bartenders are always very friendly and check in often which is always appreciated. You're always immediately given little pretzels to snack on which I love as a unique touch. This time we both chose a more standard cocktail, but they also always have very unique and delicious seasonal cocktails which are always amazing! I would definitely recommend Elixir to anyone looking for a spot to grab a quick and delicious cocktail!

It was the right move because it had the kind of chill vibe we were seeking after a long flight from SFO. Fortunately there were two seats at the bar with our names on them. Figuratively speaking. They had quite a signature cocktail list on hand, and we felt it was our obligation to try as many as we could. At least that was what we said to ourselves as the evening wore on. Each cocktail was $14. We started with a couple of familiar libations. Jamie ordered the Mint Julep, a delightfully Deep South mix of bourbon, simple syrup, and fresh mint (photo: https://yelp.to/u-td8LdPLj). I went further south with the Pineapple Margarita which was emboldened by a tropically potent mix of pineapple infused tequila, lime juice, and agave (photo: https://yelp.to/V-Sf6Q_2qK). We got a bit bolder with our second round and found mixed results. Jamie had the Not Your Mom's Daiquiri which amped up the margarita by blending pineapple-infused tequila with Bacardi 8-year rum. Along with fresh lime and simple syrup, this one definitely had more of a kick (photo: https://yelp.to/1ZijDf6wMV). However, my order, the Pontiac Pony, was a spicy miss for me. It was a rather oddball mix of apple-cinnamon infused vodka, pear liqueur, fresh squeezed lemon juice, and ginger beer (photo: https://yelp.to/5dQoFdzG98). There was just a harshness that didn't sit well on my tongue. Oh well, the mellow vibe was cool. COCKTAILS - 4 stars...three out of four cocktails were aces, just one clinker AMBIANCE - 4 stars...very chill, fairly quiet for Boystown SERVICE - 4 stars...cool bartenders TOTAL - 4 stars...check it out when you take a break from your Boystown cruising RELATED - Exploring Chicago? It's a delightful location right across the street from Gallagher Way and Wrigley Field -- but it's not a sports bar, it's a nice restaurant. It's not large, but there are a decent number of 2 and 4-tops, plus bar seats. I was pleasantly greeted on arrival, and throughout my stay, I was treated so well by waiter Landon, plus front-of-house staff. I got the mussels (from Prince Edward Island, which are the best) in an incredibly rich garlic broth with lardons and Fresno peppers -- the crisp baguette slices were perfect for soaking up more of the delicious broth. I also got the Sweet Potato Rosti. Almost charred outside, yet sweet and tender inside -- so delicious, with a set of surprises to go with it (creamy horseradish sauce, onion marmalade, trout roe...) Both appetizer dishes were delicious and served as a full meal for one person (I recommend the rosti as a shared dish - it's a bit much for one person). Finished with crème brûlée - delicious with a fun garnish of charred marshmallow. I tried a couple of their ballpark drinks. The Bleacher Tea was outstanding - a good balance (not too sweet) with a nice tea flavor and a kick. The Day Game Daze was a little less successful (I wasn't really getting the coffee, as it seemed the Bonanto and sweet vermouth were dominating). Overall, a wonderful experience before a Cubs game!

There was some major drinking event going on and while the streets were wild, Mordecai did not participate. We were seated promptly with reservation and greeted by Avery who was sweet, kind and helpful with getting us familiar with the menu. We ordered cocktails which both came to us balanced and tasty, I can always appreciate when there is craft ice for an old fashioned! The Arancini was so tasty, very happy they did not overdue the Saffron We ordered the Mordecai and the deluxe burger which both came out delicious and finished every bite. It's also mentionable that some rowdy types tried to come in and the hostess did be sure to verify that behavior did not disrupt their patrons which we were very happy to see. Thank you for caring about the experience of everyone! Overall a great spot and we will return in the future!

Every nook and cranny has Christmas all over it. Even though turkey day hasn't happened, we were into it. For this occasion we sat at the bar. It was slammed. Only two bartenders and one bar back made for a long wait. I only ended up getting one cocktail because by the time they got around to the asking again, I was ready to go. For drink I order the Prixkly B*tch which was a play on a prickly pear margaritas. It was good and well balanced. For food, I ordered the Spinach Dip with was served pipping hot with crusty toasted bread. It was really delicious. I wished I grabbed the meatballs too but we had dinner plans. All in all, cute venue and would return. Scored a super cute selfie with my love and we had a good time. An added benefit is that Wrigleyville Christmas Market is up and popping across the street. Cool event but be prepared for parking as it is crowded over here while the Christmas events are going on in this area.
