This place has an excellent location on the corner of malostranska metro stop, connecting you to trams, one of the main bridges to the center, or to the park that faces the charles bridge. As soon as I walked in I felt as if I was in an old restored library, but in a good way. I love how they decorated it, and the staff is very friendly and prompt. They have free wifi, soft leather chairs everywhere for seating, and even a change desk in the right hand corner for people who need to change money (and their rates are actually decent!)
As for their offerings- do not expect to pay anything less then 70 crowns for a latte, 50 or so for tea, and so on. You are in a tourist area so the prices are not shocking, however you are not getting the best quality products for these prices either. They do have salads and sandwiches which did not look great when I saw them and were also over priced so I passed on them, but in case you are starving-they have some food. If the prices upset you, then you are better off heading down a side street in this area and finding a more authentic czech cafe experience.
For the normal tourist however, this place is fine. A nice, comfortable, clean, and scenic place to rest. Fit with bilingual staff, clean bathrooms, free wifi and the change desk. What tourist wants more then that? read more
