Wonderful lattes and the most scrumptious crepe I think I've ever had!! Very welcoming atmosphere as well.

Convenient and Cozy, but coffee was just okay For me, Cafe Javasti is just a convenient spot, perfectly situated for a quick latte during my daily walks. Though, if it weren't for this proximity, I'm not sure I'd be a regular. My experience so far has been limited to their latte, which I'd describe as perfectly adequate. It was fine, but didn't stand out as anything exceptional. It hit the spot, but didn't leave me craving more. The service has been consistently friendly and efficient. The cafe always seems to have a bustling atmosphere, with many patrons enjoying their food and drinks, indicating a pleasant and inviting vibe. It's clear that Javasti is a popular neighborhood spot! Ultimately, Cafe Javasti is a solid choice for a quick and convenient coffee stop. While the coffee itself wasn't spectacular, the friendly service and cozy atmosphere, combined with its unbeatable location, make me a reliable customer, though only for the occasional coffee.

Great coffee and crepes. People are friendly. Bus your dishes. Specials are wonderful

Number 1 crepe- bananas, whipped cream, Nutella and sliced almonds
    Anna B.

I found this cafe because they have gluten free crepe options for my friend with intolerance, and also just great crepes in general! I got a Goliath sized number 1 (bananas, whipped cream, sliced almonds and Nutella) and this thing could very easily be shared by two or three people. The savory options sounded great too and there's definitely vegetarian and vegan options available. Drinks were quite tasty as well too! Very much enjoyed chatting for a while here and the staff are very kind :) plenty of free angled parking right next door too in the large lot.

Golden milk latte with honey & espresso, grain bar with fruit & nuts

Got a golden milk latte with 1 shot of espresso, added some honey, so yummy. Also tried their fruit & nut scone, so delish. Great friendly quick service. Looking forward to trying out their crepes and coffee next time. One offering for improvement is I wish they had toilet seat covers in the restroom. overall great vibe & clean space

We love Javasti and have never been disappointed by the food or drinks. Always delicious! Deducting one star because no matter what, even if there's no line and very few people in the shop, it takes at least 20 minutes to get your crepe. Absolutely worth the wait, but something to be aware of.

Excellent little neighborhood cafe. Not much in the menu unless you LOVE crepes! They have a wide variety of crepes to choose from, some pastries and some cold food choices. We ordered lattes and crepes and everything was pretty darn good.

Oat milk latte and #12 crêpe
    Nicole R.

Absolutely delicious. I ordered an Oatmilk latte, which was maybe the best I've ever had. I also ordered number 12 on the menu, savory crêpe with tapenade, roasted bell peppers and goat cheese. It was stupendous! Light and perfect for my palette. Service was efficient. There is ample seating, with several options by the windows. Highly recommend.

Wow! Great location and even better that it's next door to my laundromat! Friendly fast service with a great dining area. Only my first time here so next week I might go with a savory crepe. The one I got today was spot on and delicious. I feel the prices are great for what you get. Nice ambiance and vibes and will definitely return. I didn't get the gentlemen name who helped me but he also was amazing.

#1 sweet crepe with the buckwheat.
    Audrey D.

I stopped by Cafe Javasti for the first time today. It was fantastic! I got an almond milk latte and a sweet buckwheat (gluten free) crepe. Generally when I order a hot latte with non-dairy milk, the barista never foams it. The barista today foamed the almond milk so well they could have convinced me it was dairy milk! The flavor was also phenomenal. I ordered the #1 crepe sub buckwheat for gluten free. It was amazing and huge! I will definitely be back for another great coffee and a savory crepe this time!

The coffee is great. And so are the crêpes. The acoustics of the café make it difficult to have a conversation.

First thing to mention, kudos for their longevity. They are coming up on their first decade next summer. The cafe decor also held up pretty well, including the large glass fixture from the ceiling. Seattle Sunshine Coffee also outlived Ventoux that I had mentioned in my prior post. The barista and I compared my 2016 stamp card to the current design, just had a few slight different nuances. This indie cafe had folks onsite, but not packed. There was still room available whether seated along the sidewalk, main seating area, or the upstairs mezzanine. Some convos to be had, but most of the cafe clientele were on their laptops or reading. Pastry case was well stocked with the wholesale variety from Macrina, plus the usual bevs and cafe fare. I enjoyed my near two hour onsite visit. The only thing I wished is that I had brought a hoodie. The AC was jacked up. and of course, I had savored an iced mocha. Hopefully my next cafe detour won't take nine years though between visits.

It's located in the same spot after many decades in Seattle's Wedgwood neighborhood. Since there's several cafes along this stretch of 35th NE, as point of reference, it's two doors south of Wedgwood Broiler. It shares a huge parking lot and adjacent to a Metro bus route. It had a nice autumn hue from the overhead lighting and interior decor. The local art for sale adorning the walls was a nice added touch. Upbeat, welcoming staff. It was full right at noon and brisk walk-in takeout traffic. Nice overhead music to chill, dine, and/or do laptop stuff. They offer the usual bev menu, as well as, breakfast & lunch items, soups, salads, modest pastry case (from Alki Bakery), merch, and coffee roasts from Zoka. The 16oz mocha was well crafted temp wise & good balance of espresso, steamed milk, and chocolate. I also opted for the roast beef panini without the horseradish. Generously filled with roast beef, havarti, mayo, and red onion on savory focaccia. It was provided with au jus and I selected potato salad versus chips. The au jus was not salty, so after dipping, I also sipped the hot broth. Very flavorful and filling. The other panini half I'll have to take home. Thanks to fellow Yelp Elite All Star, Will L for a compelling post. This was a pleasant detour for lunch.

I absolutely love their specialty drinks like honey cardamom, and a shakerato. The vibe and atmosphere is wonderful. It's usually social and low-key but never too loud. They have excellent food, matcha with option to remove sugar (not all coffee shops have this!). Generally, I feel like their staff is really great! Love the location minus the issues with parking being tricky for a quick stop, sometimes need to pay. I keep coming back here! With gas prices over six dollars and budgets getting tighter for so many the one thing that hinders me is their prices. Their baseline drinks are an average of $5.75 + tip. Quiche slice is $8 two hard boiled eggs near $4. Typical typically if I'm gonna spend almost $10 I'd rather buy a fancy drink like a bubble tea or go out for an appetizer and food. When you own your own espresso machine and Matcha at home it's hard to justify getting such expensive drinks unless there is that "I can't make this at home" appeal - housemade syrups, Boba, etc I do love that urban coffee lounge has pour over options which can be time-consuming and cold brew, which is delicious and also more time-consuming. I appreciate their presence in the neighborhood. Having lived in Seattle for so long with so much access to incredible coffee I appreciate urban coffee lounges level of expertise with coffee. It is more rare on the east side. (Zoka is great of course!) And I will keep coming back, but sparingly due to prices. (Am I the only one who feels this way? Let me know!) Thanks for being here, urban coffee lounge!

They do have a restroom, plenty of seating outside, kinda limited seating inside. They do have a wide array of offerings. I got the spinach and feta quiche with a strawberry matcha. The spinach quiche was really good. I thoroughly enjoyed that. My strawberry matcha was not too sweet (I usually ask for everything half sweet and did not this time). The staff were friendly. Prices are reasonable for this day and age. I sat outside and enjoyed the sun! It's a great place to hang out, probably not great for groups unless you sit outside. Dogs are not allowed inside, so tie them up or have a buddy watch them while you go inside. Parking is street or under an apartment complex near by. Not sure if you pay or validate inside those apartment retail parking garages because I parked along the side streets. Park Mobile is the app you use to pay for parking. I paid about $4 ish for an hour. Overall, if I'm in the area and got the time to hangout, it's a cute place to do so.
