What can I say- its the best Mexican restaurant in Milwaukee... their Margaritas are terrific and potent (perfect)... their food is phenomenal... unfortunately since ive discovered the naked wet burrito on their menu, i havent ventured too far to other areas of the menu in over a year. I have since moved out of MKE but still make the one hour trip a couple times a month specifically for their food. Also kudos on making the "soup" available during these "uncertain times" . I brought a family member who lives in the Phoenix area to corzon (plenty of mexican in AZ)... and he agreed that is was one of the best places he has been. read more

Absolutely delicious food cooked and served by wonderful humans! My husband and I have visited both locations multiple times and have never been disappointed. YUM! If you're vegan and love Mexican, this place is delicious! I got the three tacos plate and tried three different meat subs on eat taco to see which one is like the best. The soy chorizo was the best! Yet the others were still tasty. The plate came with not your ordinary small salad with a cumin vinaigrette dressing I could drink. It was a cute little place but very busy on the weekend. There were outside seating as well. Our waiter was very sweet and helped us pick with food decisions as well as many other things that night. The front greeting desk was far away from the entrance which was confusing on a busy night but everyone was really friendly. I'll definitely be going back sometime soon! read more

The short version: A decent if somewhat average new option for Mexican food in Bayview. The good: The tacos are ace here. If I was rating this place on tacos alone it would be a strong 4-stars. If you come here, rock the tacos. - The atmosphere is enjoyable and good for groups of friends. - Service was solid. Our waitstaff member made it a point to be really helpful in making our meal better. The average: The rice & beans. The chips & salsa. (Respectfully gang, to charge $3 for a basket of chips & salsa when just about every good Mexican restaurant includes them free is a little bit silly). The bad: We had what was possibly the worst ceviche we've ever experienced at a Mexican restaurant. Why call out it being so bad? Because we hope this will make it's way to management so it can be improved. Bad flavor, rubbery texture, and unlike any ceviche we've ever had in the U.S. or Mexico. - The Jalapeño margarita. We can't judge the rest of their margaritas so this might just be a rough spot but it was overly hyped on the sugary side in a way that made it taste like 'a liquid jolly rancher'. My wife took three sips and after our waiter was gracious enough to have a new one made with less syrup it still came back overly sweet. Conclusion: Again, it's all about the tacos here! I would definitely go back for the tacos. But that's about it. Here's to hoping things get better. read more

Perhaps not as cozy as its Riverwest OG location - but just as delicious. Visited for a birthday dinner with a group of 5. We arrived early, 5:30, on a Saturday and found we were able to be seated immediately. Awesome! The bar is nice and open, and the dining room space is around the corner. Our service was friendly and prompt, the drinks were delicious, and we all enjoyed our meals. The BBQ Chicken Burrito was different but delicious (I decided to stray from my usual to enjoy something new). It was large enough to feed me for dinner AND lunch the next day! Very disappointed when we received our bill and noticed that the chips and salsa were extra. Food was good, but still can't get over the fact that they charge for the chips and salsa. We arrived for Sunday brunch and we were seated immediately. No mexican calendars on the wall here ,yet, beautifully adorned with catholic ornaments and mexican art. There were busy ,but it didn't feel crowded or uncomfortable. No complimentary chips and salsa here, atypical for your standard mexican fare. That's ok because it's just unnecessary filler anyway. I started with a "café Ole" , spiked with your choice of spirit and whipped cream. It definitely hit the spot on this cool Sunday morning. I ordered the red chilaquiles with carnitas and sunny-side up egg. Food arrived within 10 minutes and it was fantastic. The carnitas had a crispy taste and not super greasy and the chilaquiles went down great. Good flavor and not an obnoxious amount of salsa on the chilaquiles. Good portion and better tastes. Service was amicable and they didn't seem unorganized, contrary to previous reviews. Next Sunday can't come quick enough to try this place once again. read more

I love this place. I love to support this place. You should go here. Especially if you're vegan. I'm updating my review because the last 2-3 times I've gone I wasn't particularly pleased the same was I was when I originally started coming here. Service is incredibly hit and miss, one day it's amazing, one day it kills the experience. The last time we went it was definitely about a half our before shift change around 3:30 and our waiter would continuously walk out of the kitchen, see us, turn around, book it back in the kitchen and return with someone he'd forgotten. Okay, fine - would've been no big deal, but we waited a painfully long time for the check. Earlier he'd figured out we (boyfriend and I) were celebrating my birthday he said I couldn't have the their desert because I'm vegan, keep in mind I didn't ask about it and I had no interest in anything other than tequila and tacos. Before putting the check down he hands me a birthday shot. I thought, wow that was really nice. Except .. it was on the bill. A five dollar shot we didn't ask for, was he hoping we'd miss it? We had brunch at Café Corazon last Sunday and loved the food. They have some good vegan options which is a plus. We liked the vibe and all the decorations. It's not super classy but that's what we liked about it and we will definitely go back. We were giving them another try after walking out without any service after waiting 10 minutes at a table in the bar, with multiple unsuccessful attempts at flagging down the bartender. This time, we went for brunch. It was busy. However, after waiting almost 40 minutes after placing our order without receiving food and being told that it would be 10 more minutes, we left without eating again. This is breakfast food, people! I was really hoping for more. I have heard a lot of hype about this place. First of all, I thought the menu was limited and lacked any real authenticity. On the plus side, if you are vegetarian, they cater quite well to the veg crowd as nearly half of the menu is veg specific. I was not that impressed with service. Nor was I impressed with my lunch.
