I stopped here for lunch because I was in the area and I have never been here before. The place definitely has a very Mexican decor with the arches, colors, light fixtures etc etc. As you walk in there is a nice bar that smacks you in the face. Service was slow with two tables in service and my server never came back to check in on me so I had to get him for a box and the check, I also had to walk my money over to him and he still got a 41% tip for some reason from me ????. I need to learn to tip accordingly instead of me being me. I ordered the combination dinner with one ground beef enchilada, one Al pastor taco and a ground beef tostada. The chips and salsa was decent with thick fresh corn chips, not warm by the way. The salsa was a purée style with good flavor and a mild heat finish but served in a tiny bowl that lasted 1/3 of the chips before it was gone. The dinner comes with beans and rice. The beans were good and seasoned nicely. The rice was cooked perfectly and not mushy but bland like most Mexican restaurants but anyone who follows my reviews knows that my fix is to mix the beans and rice and top with the salsa but I didn't have very much salsa this time. The ground beef enchilada was topped with red sauce/cheese with moist ground beef. The al pastor taco was topped with fresh cilantro/onion and good but not very saucy with moist pork. The ground beef tostada was basically topped with lettuce, tomato and cheese with that moist ground beef. Overall it was Milwaukee area average Mexican food with an authentic salsa to their own which was the tastiest part of the dish but it's a solid place with fresh food.

I stopped by again on a Friday night for dinner with my daughter. Sadly, I forgot to take pictures of the food. Overall, same experience and the food was still good. The staff was very kind and the food came out quickly. My fajitas were nice and fresh and came with a good amount of steak. My daughter got a kids plate that came with a huge portion. But still recommend and will come back!

Average American "Mexican " with a very friendly and polite hostess and server! She really made the experience! Chips are on the thick side and the entrees are pretty simple and basic American Mexican. My dining companion wanted to try it so we did. I like the mango topping option and huge menu

Get your margarita with tahini on top I really enjoy having a few

Excellent food compared to other nearby establishments in this category, and prompt, friendly service.

Amazing table side guacamole. Margaritas are great. Tacos are the best around. Highly recommend this place.

Just went there yesterday, 3/23/26, as it is one of my regular choices for good local Mexican food…read more I feel pretty certain they made some improvements to their food. First, the salsa and chips were improved. The salsa, both mild and medium, had a very fresh taste to them. I was impressed by the chunky medium salsa the most. Secondly, their accompanying chips were darker and thicker. They also had a distinct roasted corn flavor which went well with the salsa. Neither the salsa or the chips were drowned out by the other. The thicker chip stood up to the rigorous dipping I gave each one. Third, the refried beans they served with my chimichanga dinner were above the average pale looking serving. They were darker and nicely seasoned. I'd go back again just for them. I wish they served a little dish with these beans along with the salsa and chips. Fourth, only a one star demerit for their saggy bottom bench seats in my booth. Fifth, thank you for having hot water in the very clean Men's room for washing my hands.

Underwhelming. We…read morewere hopeful with some of the recent reviews, but this was just not a good visit. We walked in and a few tables were taken so we were hoping that was a good sign. There was music playing but a soccer match playing in the bar was plenty loud in the dining room and drown out the background music. The small house margarita starts at $8.50 and we both got one to see how they were. The size was larger than I thought it'd be at least. We also got a small basket of chips and a small cup of salsa. Not great but we still ate them because we were starving. We ordered tacos and they came out within about 5 minutes. The plates were cold, as well as the rice, and the beans were lukewarm. The tacos were hot at least. The barbacoa tacos ($16.99) were dry and didn't come with lime wedges, extra salsa, nothing. They were so dry that the single corn tortillas split pretty quickly. The pastor tacos ($16.49) weren't bad but no pineapple to be seen. The portions were okay but the food was not worth the price we paid. The weirdest part was when we got our check. None of the prices matched the menu and they also charged more for using a card. Don't appreciate the inaccurate prices and didn't see anything on the menu about being charged differently than what was posted. Our server seemed nice but it wasn't enough to make up for the weird space, lukewarm food, and overall disappointing experience. Will not go back.
