The best empanadas I have ever had! Wow! Cooked to perfection. Conveniently located on SR 84.

Cafe canela is absolutely a local gem. The area was incredibly seasoned and the two sauces they gave on the side were very tasty! The beef soup is really the standout to me though, it was incredibly tender beef with chunks of potato, sweet potato, and corn making for a very diverse and filling soup!

    Nasty

The worse empanada and coffee you can have a south Florida. The empanada they sold was burn and supper greasy, I have to toss them. Waist of money.

This place has the best Venezuelan style Empanadas in the whole Weston and it's surroundings and the service is great, I'm a repeat customer Highly recommended!!

Arepa Carne, Side of fries, strawberry samba candy bar, Guarana drik

Quaint little shop in Weston. Packed full of goodies to choose from (seats about 10 people per occupancy sign). It's cluttered but I feel like it adds to the charm of the place. She greeted me when I came in and I ordered the shredded beef arepa with a side of fries, a samba bar, and guarana can. Arepa - I've never had one where the arepa was so clearly crisp all around, it was enough to hold the filling. The shredded beef was placed evenly and dropped its sauce into the arepa. This was the first one where I didn't lose all the filling before getting to the end of the arepa. It's also the first one that the arepa held up to the sauce! So yay for that! Fries - golden and crisp. A bit soggy towards the bottom fries but that's par for the course when you get takeout Onto things they don't make: The samba is like a wafer cookie coated in chocolate - yummm! And the Guarana is almost like a different version of ginger ale... more flavor, although I think it'd be acquired taste - pour it into a glass with an orange slice and it'll help offset the taste if you have the time. Service overall was good. I was greeted not ignored, she verified my order, and food came out in about 10mins - efficient and good use of my time since I was on my lunch break. Food had me stuffed and satisfied with extra fries. Price is a bit high but I feel it's worth it for the quality I got. I'll definitely come back!

Picture posted of American Breakfast sign.. Does not say.. Hot tea.. Just tea. We were charged extra for the iced tea

They hand made me some kind of really nice coffee. I remember my dad being annoyed that I wanted to come here, but I felt it was worth it.

Great little hidden gem, by far the best empanadas I have had in a while. The guasacaca (green sauce) was on point. Friendly staff as well.

The rotisserie chicken stood out, juicy, flavorful, and probably the highlight of the meal. Portions were decent and filling, but the overall experience felt a bit like fast food, quick service, simple presentation, and not much ambiance. It served its purpose: a casual, satisfying meal when you're hungry and on the go. Wouldn't go out of my way to eat here again, but if you're nearby and craving something hearty and quick, it's worth a try.

To my surprise when the counter called my name there were two 1/2 white chicken orders. I think that needs to be made more clear, also the kiosk doesn't allow any options for substitutions of any of the sides. That is the first issue. Biggest issue. Once I explain the issue at the counter, they advise me that because I odered at the kiosk, they can't process a refund at all. So I am stuck with two orders. It makes no sense that the counter person can't issue a refund. What if the food is bad, or gets returned, etc? No options. Hopefully management can review this and make improvements. I almost forgot, I found a hair on the black beans, which they promptly replaced.

Normally when we visit, it's a full house -- but shortly after being seated, we started to understand why. We noticed the menu had changed, so I'm not sure if they brought in a new chef. We ordered the croquettes (which have always been our favorite), a ribeye steak, and a picanha bowl. The croquettes came out room temperature, which was disappointing right from the start. The ribeye, ordered medium, was pink but extremely dry -- it honestly seemed like it may have been pre-cooked and then reheated. To make matters worse, the steak is served already cut, which doesn't allow it any time to rest and retain its juices. The picanha bowl was also dry and tough to chew. It's a shame when establishments that were once consistently very good go through changes like this. Unfortunately, for the prices they charge, the quality just wasn't there this time. I won't be returning.
