My son wanted an açaí bowl after crushing his opening night in a local musical, but the places we're used to were all closed or closing. His big sister (who also crushed it in the show) did some sleuthing and found Gelati!! Vincent greeted us, and he is the most welcoming wonderful person!! He gave us multiple samples and gave us great suggestions and even complimentary add-ons! Daniel (who seems to be the fellow in charge) came out and gave us more samples and great suggestions, and even threw in a free treat with our order! Not only was the service above and beyond...the actual food was all beyond incredible. I'm a HUGE dessert fan and this was the best gelato I've ever tried! My son and I both got dragonfruit bowls and sides of gelato (haha how could we resist?! ) and even the sister who isn't much for sweets loved the bites she snuck. Pretty much anything you get is going to be indulgent (and likely shareable.) It's a small storefront that is always clean. It takes a while for what you order to be created because they do exactly that...create it...each item is individually prepared, so even if it appears not crowded, it's likely to take a little while before you get what you ordered. I've been in a few times and I've always enjoyed what I've selected. I wonder if the staff is happy working there though as it seems like a lot of work and they never seem to be particularly happy to be there.

My order is often not ready when I arrive, at the designated time. This happened again today. Our visits are typically in the late afternoons/early evenings. Pastry selections get quite scarce a couple hours before closing. The seating outside is dirty and sticky. The staff are so sweet and helpful. The base was super thick and scoopable, just like classic Brazilian style açaí. This place is so amazing and I'm happy to hear they also have a Granada hills location I'll be checking out! The shop is located inside the Valencia town center which is an indoor mall.
