Food is decent. Usually looks similar to the picture online which is a plus. I tried the hot honey bowl, it was good but not much chicken on it. My toddler loves their kid grill cheese with turkey. The chocolate covered strawberries are always a great addition. Cafe zupa is consistent. Service is usually good and friendly. The restaurant always seems clean. What a difference a day makes. So disappointing how my last few visits have been getting bad. I really really used to love this place along with the cleanliness and service. Tables and floors are dirty. I asked for napkins and she literally counts out 3 napkins cause we were 3 people. Seriously. How about refilling the dispenser. Enriching food, friendly staff, and wholesome environment! My cousin and I ended up at Café Zupas after not being able to find our original destination, and we're so glad we did! They have a little bit of everything, but the composition of every plate they serve us is fresh and healthy ingredients. I got the nourish bowl and it was fantastic. Really not impressed with this place. All the tables were dirty, dishes were piled up by the trash, and there wasn't any salt & pepper to season their food (which was extremely bland). I also specifically asked if they had unsweetened tea, was sold a drink, and then found out the tea urn was "out of order". As if this wasn't lackluster enough the service was disjointed... no communication among the staff. We had to repeatedly tell them what we ordered. Tipping at the counter left us feeling cheated by this experience. Tips are earned, but here it felt hollow. We will not be back, way too many better choices to spend our money on. read more

I ordered a try two combo, sandwich came with one thin piece of meat. Creat my own salad, ordered it with chicken and they literally dumped 3 tiny pieces of chicken on it and that was it until I said something only to have to get the managers approval for more chicken. Then had to ask for the chocolate strawberry and roll that use to come with the order that apparently doesn't anymore. I honestly couldn't even remember what I had even thought about the food. 8 years later according to my last yelp and let me say this, it was TERRIBLE! We literally told the girl haven't been here we have some questions, we were kind of rushed I get it to a point, because at the end of the day customer service should be a priority. The line again was chaos, people in front of us were getting the their food mixed up with others in line, the restroom was beyond words disgusting!!! Enjoyed a hearty and great lunch at Zupas today. The selections of sandwiches, salads and soups is top notch! Great service and crafty skilled staff dish out yummy favorites. We had the choose 2 combo and it was hard to pick just 2 so I had to add a soup as well. My choice was the ham, bacon tomato sandwich that is served toasted with a delicious spread of honey mustard and cheese. I then had to go with my favorite salad which is the glazed chipotle. I think the cherry tomatoes give it a nice balance and contrast with the sweet and semi spicy dressing. Then I had to get the hearty lobster bisque soup that come with the oyster crackers. They give you a dinner roll and of course can't forget the chocolate dipped strawberry to finish the meal. To drink I really enjoyed the strawberry mocktail. My wife had the turkey bacon sandwich & mushroom potato soup. The kiddo chose the chicken strips. Overall a solid lunch today and really enjoyed the food. My only suggestion would be that the staff clean the glass door on the front entrance as it looked like a bunch of peeps with dirty food hands had been opening and closing it. I tried the soups for the first time after surgery. There were three different types: Loaded baked potato, Lobster bisque, and Mushroom bisque. I don't usually leave reviews, but I felt like I needed to share my experience today. The bathroom was absolutely filthy, and after mentioning it to a few staff members, nothing was done about it. It left a really bad impression. The tables were dirty, and the food on the line looked very unappetizing different items were mixed together in trays where they clearly didn't belong. It just felt careless and unhygienic overall. This place really needs better attention to cleanliness and possibly a change in management. I hope they take this seriously because it could be a great spot with the right leadership. read more

I love zupas but they really need to address something at this location. I come here often because I live across the street and something is wrong with my order every single time, either they don't add a topping i paid extra for, added toppings i removed, don't have a cookie i used points to pay for and then they say they can't refund, or they are consistently 25+ minutes past to go pickup time when there's no one in the store. But the reason i'm finally writing a review is because i ordered a try 2 combo and used 1000 pts to get half off. I bring the food home and they gave me the wrong salad, and i paid for bacon topping which i also did not get lol. I called and was able to get a refund which was nice but the refund is only for what i paid and they cant do anything about the 1000 pts i lost. EDIT: I just opened my sandwich and they used whole grain bread when i ordered the regular bread that almost every other person gets. omg. just frustrating because the food would be great if there wasnt something wrong every single time read more

It's unfortunate that I really like this food because they have the worst customer service at this location. I have had the worst experience the last few times I went... EXTREMELY long wait times to pay and get your food and when you do get it it's not correct. I understand there a lot of teenagers running this place so there is a lot of disorganization and unprofessionalism, but that's exactly why they need a seasoned manager on duty at all times because a kid running the place isn't working. We come to Zupas when we feel like having a salad and sandwich option . I've loved 'nuts about berries' salad for years now, a salad I recommend every time. I think it's the dressing.. it's so freaking good! I miss their tofu avocado sandwich but the grilled cheese hits every time. There's pesto in the inside. They recently added power bowls to their menu and I'm eager to try it one day :). On the weekends it could get really busy but today it was quiet. It was an hour until closing and our favorite juice we get wasn't as good as usual. It was at the end of the jug to be fair. The restaurant runs cold but there's always a place to sit. I'm so annoyed to be so mad about a $7 meal -- that after all costs associated with ordering through the app was actually $15 (which is the cost an overwhelmed working parent pays without second thought when you're driving home this late from your small child's extracurriculars) -- so I basically paid $15 to make my child cry tonight. I placed an order through the app at 7:24PM, it said it would be delivered at 8:02PM. I ordered a kids soup and fruit cup with an apple juice... I get a text from the delivery driver saying they did not provide the soup because they are closed and to request a refund (which I've had to jump through a million hoops to figure out how to even request a refund through their website). So my order finally arrives at 8:39PM. My kid looks inside the bag and actually begins to cry when she sees a literal empty soup cup inside the bag thinking it's some type of messed up joke. My child ate a cup of soggy fruit with apple juice for dinner after waiting over an hour to find out that the restaurant could not fulfill the order. I would have a million times preferred they have cancelled the order from the jump over now having to do the most to get my stupid money back and let others know what to expect from this location. The day prior, I also placed an order that was delivered a full hour after the promised delivery time -- apparently it was not a one time issue, the service is just absolute garbage here. read more

Employees are apparently OK with delivery drivers cutting in front of regular customers. Wanted to pick up my pick up order was waiting because an employee was doing something when a delivery driver walks and cuts and passed me and get the employees Attention rather than waiting in line. I enjoyed eating here for years until recently . The past three times I've eaten at this location there were at least 6 customers before me standing and waiting for their orders. Service is incredibly slow! Also the employee at the checkout was wearing food service gloves and touching register with them, then reaching into the dinner roll bag with the same gloves to place our bread into the little paper envelopes they are served in. Went in for the first time to support a school fundraiser. They have a variety of healthy options and everything is very customizable. I got the lobster bisque soup which was amazing and the Italian sandwich. The bread and chocolate covered strawberry were an added bonus to the delicious meal. It was very busy with the fundraiser and a large group but the service was good and the employees behind the counter handled the business with ease. Will definitely be back. read more

The only reason this is a 2 star is because the food is actually good. Service is HORRIBLE. I'm in foodservice. Been in sales for 21 years and consulted on many different restaurants. This locations seems to be prioritizing online orders and they build those orders on the main line. So when people are piling in for lunch, they're forced to wait until the staff decides to start taking their orders. We just left from eating lunch here. Timeline was: almost 30 min from getting in line to getting our food. It left my wife 15 minutes to eat as she needed to get back to work. But 30 minutes to order?!?! A bit ridiculous. I brought it up to who I believed was either a manager and shift lead and both ladies (blondish hair both of them) didn't seem to care. The one girl in the darker blue shirt listened but didn't really have a response. Other than they had 2 call outs. The girl in the lighter blue shirt turned around. Listened. Then turned back around. I guess she too couldn't be bothered with a response. I'm in the industry. I get it. But the guys you have prepping bottles of dressing can take 5 minutes and help the FOH catch up. It also didn't help that they had 1 cashier and all the orders piling up on the glass display case. Just a complete unorganized mess. No one showing leadership. Oh, and this place is a cross contamination nightmare. The girl prepping the salads was dropping allergens all over non allergen ingredients (spilling nuts and cheese all over all the other ingredients) then with her dirty gloves covered in avocado, she touches other salad bowls that don't contain avocado and smears it all over our other bowls and plates. All in all. Someone needs to relay information from the line to the pass, prep needs to come around and help the line since they were backed up and online should be prepared separate from the FOH line.
