I got the chocolate croissant and chocolate chip cookie. Both were uh maze ing! I really like how they put that hard chocolate on top of the chocolate croissant. It also had a good filling to croissant ratio. Make sure you ask them to heat it up if you're eating there because it's not the same cold. I really liked my butterscotch latte! It had a good butter scotch flavor! It was the perfect blend of butterscotch, milk and coffee. It was also perfectly sweet, but I like my drinks sweet. Maybe there was a better option but the stress of going in circles in that area forced me to just park. Desserts were beautiful but there were flies all over them. When we mentioned the flies to the kids behind the counter they just looked at us and then went about their business. They weren't friendly at all honestly, even as we were paying $40 for pastries and coffee. There were some pastries in a case that didn't have flies so that's what we ended up getting. They were yummy though. I would have given it another try if the people working there weren't so rude. They kind of ruined the whole vibe and I honestly don't care to go back just because of that.

I got the iced Americano and added their house made banana cold foam. You can definitely tell it's homemade banana flavor and they even had some small chunks of banana. It was delish! Would recommend.

Cafe Intermezzo was my favorite dining experience while visiting Nashville. This was such a breath…read moreof fresh air and tranquility after leaving the chaos on Broadway. You are instantly transported to a european cafe in a small village, just right in the thick of Nashville's bustling Broadway. I arrived to meet a coworker for cappuccino and desserts. I had my heart set on all the humongous slices. This cafe has just as many options of dessert as The Cheesecake Factory ! Lots of varieties of cheesecakes also. Michael was our server and he was wonderful! He should be auditioning to act, he was very kind and entertaining. I decided on the Italian Cannoli cheesecake and paired it with a Capuichio Brio- Espresso steamed cream, cinnamon, sugar, vanilla, almond oil, brandy and rum flavors, and orange extracts with Schlag. "Capuchio Brio" means "happy toga" which emanates from Capuchin Monks, after whom cappuccino was named. I can't wait to return for a brunch or dinner meal and share Intermezzo with friends.

My waiter, Ju'ann, arrived quickly. He was also friendly. I was delighted to see that they serve breakfast all day. It's hard to get eggs just the way I like them. But they did it! Perfectly...just between over medium and over hard. They were gracious about replacing my bacon. I requested soft and they brought crispy. The rosemary potatoes were excellent. They had just a little red pepper sautéed in. Loved that. I am a big fan of strawberry jam and theirs is excellent. I was disappointed that they only give me slice of toast with the breakfast. That's silly! Just give two slices. Lovely decor. Lots of dark wood. I'd definitely return!
