Excellent coffee, especially the espresso. I added a fresh croissant and still payed a very reasonable price. The barista was really friendly, too.
The inside of the cafe is warmly furnished with lots of real wood, and very bright because of the large windows. I like their high quality chairs (must be a spleen of mine but a decent chair is just important). The walls feature several photos showing where the coffee came from - no stock images. They actually get their coffee and olive oils directly from the producers.
It's the perfect place to chill out a little and watch the rather busy dominicusstreet. Or to get some early morning coffee before work and check the newspapers.
They offer several roasts, and the barista is very keen to advise you and share insights about coffee and how to prepare it well. You can also buy a fancy coffee maker here (the manual type, not a machine).
I haven't tried their cakes yet, but its definitely on my list! read more
