    Club Sandwich
    Alexis G.

This spot was by far one of my favorite breakfast spots in Granada ! Would definitely recommend it 100%. I really liked the club sandwich and the French toast with maple syrup and berries was also very delicious. The staff here is also really friendly. My girlfriend and I had to come back a second time before our drive down to Seville.

Great spot for breakfast! Lots of seating indoors and outdoors, friendly staff, and great food for a great price! We ordered the chocolate crepes, pancake(small but comes in stacks of 4), toast w/butter and their homemade strawberry jam (we got a full but half would have sufficed), scrambled eggs and a club sandwich. That was for two people.. but everything was delicious and we almost ate everything on our plates. Will definitely go back for more!

I mean really, who would ever order this!? No.....

We went here two days in a row. The first day everything was great. No problems. The second day on the other hand, not so much... So I know there's a language barrier but if you don't understand the person then ask until you know you have an understanding. My friend ordered waffles with 2 syrups. I ordered pancakes with black chocolate and syrup. The man seemed to understand us very well but when he brought us our food he brought us both crepes with black chocolate, no syrup. So we sent it back. He then brought her, her waffles but with one syrup and he gave me pancakes with almost raw bacon on top!!! No chocolate, no syrup... soooo. I sent it back a 2nd time... He then gave me pancakes with syrup and chocolate ICE CREAM. Not the black chocolate. At this point I was hungry and I don't like to send food back once, let along 3 times. After we paid and left we later looked over the bill and they had over charged us... If I'm ever in Granada again I know I will not be going back to this place...

I came here for breakfast and had an omelette and pancakes. The food was good and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The environment was great, recommend as a brunch spot.

I came to Café Baraka with a friend for brunch. There is a sign indicating wait to be seated, but there were only two or three waiters for the many occupies tables. We were finally seated and ordered our food, which came out pretty quickly. The food was good, and decently priced as well. However, apparently the waitress accidentally messed up my friend's order and did not hear what she has asked for. The waitress did not respond in a nice nor understanding manner, and was quite rude to my friend. I enjoyed the overall feel and environment of the restaurant, but I was disappointed with the attitudes of the servers.

One of my favorite places - loving their menu for breakfast or just treating yourself with their Pancakes or waffles. The place gets busy but I have always found seating.

I am so happy to have found Cafe Baraka through Yelp. This cafe is absolutely amazing for breakfast. The only wish I could make is for them to open earlier haha, but I cannot ask them to go against the hours of Spain. This place opens at 8:30 AM on weekdays and 9 AM during weekends. The menu is so colorful (I took photos for my favorite Yelpers) that I ordered probably too much for us. We did finish everything we ordered though. I highly recommend the smoked salmon with cream cheese on toast. It is a great value at only $5.80 Euro. The toasts are big with large pieces of salmons. The fresh orange juice is also delicious, and in terms of coffee, we like the cafe con leche americano (cafe latte American) the most. The waiters do speak perfect English, and I adore the decor. Not only is the food tasty, the service is also great. On top of the beautiful store, I cannot ask for more other than an earlier opening hour perhaps ;).

Smaller, cozy full of character Bar area and the whole place is filled with bottles. 5 tables outside but for me inside was much more interesting. I ordered a Verdejo and my Server brought out a complimentary tomato Tapa and Salami. Tomatoes were super fresh and slightly salted-delicious! Everything on the menu looked good! I ordered the Sturgeon, Foie Gras and White Sausage. The Sturgeon was exquisite with the tomatoes and peppers pairing perfectly! Should have taken the big order. Foie Gras and white sausage (mild) were simple, tasty and didn't disappoint. My Server was friendly and worked to bring out the dishes as they were ready given my time crunch. To their credit, the service was the "best" (most attentive, by US standards) of almost anywhere we've been in Spain so far. That said, the food was average and at least partially frozen-reheated. The cod and oxtail were both cooked pretty well, but didn't come out entirely hot. I'm pretty sure the roast potatoes with most dishes were frozen/reheated since they were a bit sqiushy, and so were the green peas and such. Bread came automatically but was commercial and nothing special. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't especially great either.

The weight staff was impressive, recognizing new arrivals in the crowded quickly getting us drinks, taking care of everything after a couple of beers, we got a table. (Note that the restaurant is on both sides of the pedestrian street! ) Our waiter was cheerful and amusing. Although we mostly spoke Spanish, his English was quite good in the din of the small room. Better was the food . A really pleasant surprise. A major plus is the atmosphere which feels really authentically Spanish with a largely local crowd that night. Enjoyed it thoroughly.

We were seated on the terrace with a beautiful view of the Alhambra. The menu included innovative riffs on classic Andalusian dishes. The Iberian pig cheek was meltingly tender yet rich in taste and the Octopus and boletus risotto beautifully balanced the briny sweetness of the octopus with the earthy tones of the boletus (better known as porcini mushrooms in Italian and English) Service was unhurried but attentive creating a lovely setting for quiet conversation.. Though a restaurant can't rely on views to thrive. We found the architecture of the restaurant is also very special. A Buddha statue greets you at the front. You can have the garden seating or balcony seatings that get the glimpse of Alhambra. We chose the latter with following dishes: Arroz Pulpo, and Bacalao a La Plancha. The pan seared cod was tender and fresh coupled w/ fried pumpkins and beans. To add the flavor, three thin slices of pork belly (fat) were placed on top of the cod. The octopus risotto and octopus in black rice were something interesting. Personally I think the black rice octopus was taster than the risotto, which was too rich in butter and cream. The sangria was not that impressive, maybe the red was too dry and not enough of fruits. If you do go there, please remember to spread some mosquitoes repellent. Because while you dine, they also have their meals.
