This is my third time eating here while I'm in town and I'm noticing there isn't a consistency in certain areas. The latte & breakfast sandwich always taste different each time. Delicious still, yet inconsistent in flavor profile. I ordered three smores cookie again as well and it was a little on the dry side. I wanted to order a breakfast burrito but there wasn't an option on door dash for just a sausage & egg burrito (without the bacon). I also wish there were more non-pork options for breakfast items. I do appreciate the affordable prices for what's offered though. My most recent order, I tried their Oreo cookie for the first time and wasn't disappointed. It is delicious and I'd definitely order again.

Ahhhh Nutella crepe with banana and strawberries when I was craving that. Great coffee too! Adorable little cozy store/coffee shop. I was the only customer when I went around noon but I guess more people shop to go or come later. In any case I enjoyed what I got and taking selfies with all these love mini props...so I made my own party. When in the area I will go back. Also the Latin music they play rocks!

Protein breakfast bagel.. yumm!! Have dashed this place a few times, this bagel sandwich is a hit every time. Should I venture out and try something new? Perhaps. Will I? Probably not. However! The husband will and has enjoyed several other bagel and croissant sandwiches, enjoyed all thoroughly. Honorable mention: Sausage bacon egg, cheesy jalapeño bagel, bacon egg cheese croissant. And their horchata latte was 3/5 however, I will try others as this was dashed and a little watered down. Will try this place in person hopefully in the near future to test out their service and location.

Try it you won't regret it! So many yummy options!! We will for dure eat here again soon. Delicious breakfast, it was served quickly. Small cafe and ice cream shop. Lots of coffee options. We ate: Turkey avocado and cucumber croissant sandwich, fresh and delicious flavor. We will order this again! Nutella strawberry crepe so good and the strawberries were juicy. I had the Mexican mocha and it was so good and had lots of cinnamon. Just the way I like it. I had the best cookie, it is my new favorite Nutella but. Moist and huge with lots of gooey Nutella and big walnuts. Order it! Plus a berry banana smoothie. My picky daughter drank the whole thing! Lots of parking In a strip mall that looks a bit sketchy but a total gem of a restaurant. They also have lots of ice cream and we saw several bagel sandwiches. Seats about 14 people.

I so wanted to like this place. I pass by in frequently which would have made it convenient for me. We grabbed a couple pastries to go. Let's start with the chocolate ice cream cake. The ice cream itself was freezer burned. The cake itself was dry and tasted old. The tres leches cake was decent. This place was clean and service was there. I'd skip any desserts and hope the breakfast items are better.

I was craving crepes so my husband and I looked this place up on Yelp and found cafe amor it's a cute nieveria with a lot of delicious sweets . They even have horchata ! We got a cookie , flan and the cheesecake crepe my husband loves to be Ex-tra sweet and ordered a side of Nutella, everything was delicious it satisfied my sweet tooth, the lady that made our crepe was very welcoming attentive and very nice , thank you! Wow. This is truly a hidden gem in Spring Valley! We loved their paninis, and the bubble waffle was to die for! Great prices as well. I also loved the comfortable indoor space they had. My kids regularly request the Mini Pancakes with Nutella, strawberries and bananas. I don't like pancakes, but I love these. It's a treat with some fresh and healthy fruit. Coffees are great too. They staff is friendly and they keep the place clean. Consider also going next door to try their other shop Extraordinary Fruits. Between the 2 everyone in the family is satisfied. read more

I've been walking past before they open in the morning. I was a bit late getting started this morning and noticed them opening at 8 AM, so I stopped in for a bagel and coffee, the first customer of the day. I got more than I asked for. When I ordered a toasted bagel with lox, cream cheese, onion and tomato, I had to explain that "lox" was smoked salmon. I guess they don't speak Yiddish. I got what I ordered PLUS avocado and capers! The girl working there said they hope to open earlier sometime soon, so please go in there and check them out. There are a couple of tables set up under the canopy outside. read more

Love Cafe Amor! Our family has been there a few times this year and every single time the food is so good and coffee delicious. Forget Starbucks cafe amor has great coffee, food and service. The inside is clean and a nice place for a quick bite to eat. My son loves the mini pancakes while we have a bagel sandwich. The sandwiches are hearty and filling at a really good price point. All in all one of our favorite places. read more

Just visited here and can attest to the quality of their milkshakes. Got a pistachio and a strawbeery one which were very good indeed. My only hang up is with the prices. $7 for a medium milkshake and $6 for a small. My order with a tip was over $15!!! Expensive but delicious. Service was adequate and the refinished inside was cute but not worrh the steep price. They still have Thrifty Ice Cream but it too will cost you a pretty penny. read more

I went New Years morning for breakfast. I saw the negative reviews and thought I'd give them a try. People weren't joking about them being expensive. Mine was $16 for a bagel and lox and a drip coffee with vanilla and cinnamon! I came back to pick up my food and saw that they got my drink order wrong, I ordered a large not small. What I came to realize is she charged me for the wrong drink - a latte instead of a flavored drip coffee. Well she charged me incorrectly and didn't want to refund my $1.50 for the large latte she charged me for. I had to firmly say no the latte and drip coffee aren't the same price plus you gave me a small. And she didn't refund my tax properly. She didn't apologize. I feel like there should a law that shows you what you're paying for to rectify these issues before finalizing the transaction. I never received a receipt. The bagel was stale and really really gross. The lox tasted old. I only had a few tiny shreds of red onion and no capers. I think they are trying to sell too many different types of things which leaves things stale/old. read more

I'm taking the time from eating to write this review because it is such a lovely place. Their menu is eclectic and the paninis were done perfectly. the workers were fast with preparing the food and were very kind to us. Definitely a place I would drive 5 hours to have again! Great little neighborhood donut shop! Convenient corner location, plenty of indoor seating…read more(overlooking a nice little succulent garden), and of course a great maplebar! Not too dense, not too fluffy, just right They prefer "cash only", but do offer Venmo, Square, and Zelle (see photo). Looking forwad to next time!

I was a bit hesitant to try this place because I love chinese food and lately its just been hit or miss. Also, sushi/chinese can sometimes be not what you expect. ANYWAY, let me go back to my experience with Ayumi. Small cozy restaurant that has about 8-10 tables. Its apparent they do a lot of take out. It's in a small plaza but there is plenty of parking. You're greeted warmly when going inside, and there's an A-Frame in the front that tells you the daily special. The pictures here on yelp and google helped a lot in making my food decisions. I love my orange chicken not too much breading, and an even sauce to nugget ratio. Some of the other chinese restaurants in the immediate area are wayyyy too saucy or too breaded. I chose the Sweet & Pungent chicken, bc that sounded good ... boy it did not disappoint. It came out on a bed of crispy noodles and steamed broccoli. The pieces were evenly sauced and sticky the way I love it ... so I can only imagine the orange chicken, sweet and sour, and whatever else is fried will be decent. Definitely coming back just for this. My bf had the kung pao trio, and it was probably the most decent I've had in a while. The prices are reasonable for the area for the sushi, the chinese food, and even the beverages (some places be gouging for beer), and I'm going to be trying this place out for the lunch specials which is always a good combo of entree, appetizer, and drink. 5 stars for the chinese food, Can't wait to try the sushi next time.

So I was waiting until I actually dined in and had the full experience to write a full review but…read morenow that I've moved out of the area, I'm afraid I won't get that chance now even though this place was bookmarked for me to try for the longest even while I was in the neighborhood. So I ordered through GrubHub and I still think everything was delicious! They have a combination of Chinese foods and Japanese sushis. I ordered an Adam and Eve Roll which was good. The 2 main stars of the show were the scallop roll and the salt and pepper chicken wings! Okay where do I even start?! The scallop roll came from the basic rolls so I was expecting it to be pretty basic. No one told me they were going to put raw scallops omg it was sooo good and soft! Melted like butter in my mouth. Then the salt and pepper chicken wings might be up there on top wings in SD because not only do they load that thing with garlic but they also dice up tiny red bell peppers and omg what a game changer!

I am extremely happy to have found this delightful cafe! The customer service is phenomenal and truly stands out. The menu is diverse and delicious, featuring everything I'm looking for--from Frappuccinos and coffee to milkshakes and breakfast items. My daughters also love the tasty ice cream options available, making it a perfect spot for the whole family. Love the homemade desserts specially cheesecake and carrot cake with coconut is fantastic. The coffees are very good. In the morning I always get a Café latte with oat milk. Thank you Café Amor for all the delicious desserts. read more
