    Cinnamon Roll
    Marla H.

I went on a girls trip to Nashville with one of my friends. We went for brunch on a Sunday and got a cinnamon roll, Eggs Benedict, and some quiche. It was the best cinnamon roll I've ever had in my life! The ambience and the service was exceptional. I cannot wait to go back!

My 4 is a tad generous but it's based on the freshness of food and the delightful service. Our server was attentive and helpful. Half the house was full on a Tuesday night. Our drinks were well crafted. The onion topped focaccia was irresistable. (Even the 2nd basket!) Dunked in oil topped with herbs it became a bit complicated in flavor which is the one complaint I'd make. A single flavor is hard to shine when it's muddled in with so many others. The food came quickly. The sign: 'Try our Seabass' was a tease as they were out (at 6). I had them do the Seabass sides/garnish on the salmon and it was tasty. Riper mango would have been nice. My husband ranked his shrimp and grits a 6.5 out of 10. He eats it everywhere so has comparisons he likes better. He did like the coconut encrusted shrimp. The thick grits, not so much. The largest disappointment was the donut dessert. Highly recommended, the round donut (really a fancy hush puppy) was tasty but the ice cream served with it had about 5 too many add ins/flavors. Even the menu description seemed contrary-too many flavors - again - all muddled together. It's nice for Bellevue to have a restaurant with an upscale menu and I suspect they'll fine tune some dishes upon reviews like this. Keep at it!...as the basics were there! And the service was perfect!

Anyone who's given this place less than 5 stars is a moron without taste buds and I'll say that with my whole chest. The food is GOOD. Unbelievably good. Don't listen to the haters because I'm a picky picky monster and will be coming back.

Food was delicious and the server was very knowledgeable and good at describing the food. I had the chicken and Mac n cheese and my husband had the salmon. We will be back!

Amazing food and service! We came in to try the new fall menu and it didn't disappoint! My favorites were the meatballs, arancini, chicken pot pie and Nutella mousse! You can really tell how much thought and effort they put into all the dishes and everything tasted so fresh! Can't wait to come back and try brunch next!

    Eggs in purgatory

TERRIBLE service and subpar food: The ambience was okay, besides the sick waitress coughing on me. But the presentation of the dishes was misleadingly appealing. The eggs in purgatory paired with cheese grits (I guess that's close enough to the promised polenta...) we're EXTREMELY SALTY, and I'm not a super picky eater, I was actually pretty hungry and tried to stick it out but I knew if I continued I'd give myself pre-hypertension from the mountain of salt that was dumped into the food! When the waitress asked how it was and I was honest with her about the salt, she said she'd talk to the cook, only to come back and say that they can't make it any differently and in fact EVERYTHING on the menu would be that salty unless I ordered pancakes or French toast. It seemed like she didn't want to wait tables and wanted me out the door, but I tried again with the Grandfather breakfast plate (like a fool) and was serve STALE HARD bacon, not well done but STALE as if it had been cooked several hours ago. This place was an EPIC WASTE of money and does not live up to its upscale pricing and white tablecloths. Don't be fooled.

From the street it looks like a quaint spot, but once you walk in you realize it's way bigger than it looks and the staff is on it right away. Friendly, quick to get you seated, and you can tell they run a tight ship. Everything is tapas-style with shareable portions, which is dangerous if you're with someone who says "let's just get a couple things" (because you won't). Also if you come at peak dinner time, expect a bit of a wait for the main pasta, just relax and lean into it, because it's absolutely worth it. We started with the garlic bread and I'm not being dramatic when I say we had to actively stop ourselves from finishing the whole plate immediately. Buttery, perfectly toasted, and loaded with flavor. Get the dipping sauce, and do yourself a favor... save a piece or two for later because it becomes elite when paired with pasta. Next up was the Pelato salad, a big portion (enough for 3-4ppl) and completely worth it. Super fresh, packed with ingredients, dressed with the perfect amount of oregano vinaigrette, and ridiculously easy to keep eating even when you're "just having a few bites." Then came the crispy garlic potatoes with garlic aioli... and wow. Crispy outside, fluffy inside, shaved parmesan on top this could honestly pass as a main dish if you didn't know better. The meatballs were next to make it to the table. They came out warm (not piping hot) the flavor, texture, and sauce made up for it. Still a really solid order and worth every bite. Last to hit the table was the radiatori vodka, and that's the moment everything made sense. Creamy, packed with flavor, and the homemade radiatori noodles held onto the sauce perfectly. My final bites were a little pasta + a little meatball + a little garlic bread and it was basically a mic drop. We ate so much we didn't even have room for dessert, which is my only regret... but that just means we have a reason to go back. If you're in Nashville and want a meal that feels like a full-on experience, Pelato needs to be on your list.

We were actually between the normal lunch & dinner shift, so the restaurant was not too busy. We opted to sit outside which was a little noisy from the road traffic at that hour, I did take a look inside and at the kitchen area. The staff here are super friendly, and gave us great recommendations once we were seated. The restaurant is semi-full service. You are sat at a table, but you have the menu online and can only order online. At that point I'd rather just take it to-go. My friend's phone was dead, so we also had to pass my phone back and forth to order. There are a couple of servers taking care of all of the tables once the orders are ready, so it feels like the restaurant is trying to get away with paying less people. I ordered the nonna paula, added pancetta to it, and made it spicy. The sauce was absolutely incredible. It was smooth, nutty, and creamy, and the house-made pasta was cooked perfectly. I wish their version of making it spicy didn't also make it more oily; it also didn't really add any kick to it. I'd definitely order to-go, but I'm not sure if I'd dine-in here again.

We sat outside with the heaters on, and it felt cozy and intimate. We started the night with the Meatballs and the Whipped Ricotta with chili honey...I'm still thinking about them. Both were incredible. We also ordered Espresso Martinis, which were good, although definitely on the stronger, coffee-forward side. If you like spinach, you MUST try the Rotolo Alla Vodka. My second favorite dish was the lightly roasted snap pea with fennel, spring onion, and chili--fresh, vibrant, and packed with flavor. So good. The linguini and clams was decent, but didn't quite hit the same level as the other dishes. It leaned a bit too al dente for my taste, and the flavor felt a little on the bland side.
