Our family was very disappointed with our experience at CAP. My child attended for just 5 months and during that time we discovered many issues with the school. 1. My child had a medical emergency while at the school and it was unclear how it was actually handled. We received different accounts from the director, area manager, the staff member who accompanied my child to the hospital, and the EMT's who responded to the event. When I asked to see the footage from the time period of the medical emergency I was denied the request. 2. Classes are often combined in the morning or after 4pm, even during disease outbreaks in those respective rooms. Many times I would pick up my child and my child would be in the room where there is a known presence of Croup or Hand Foot Mouth playing with the children from that room. This, to me, demonstrated a lack of genuine care for the well being of the children. 4. My child's teacher recorded and posted a video on the app of another child pushing and kicking my child. My child was kicked 4 or more times and there was no intervention by the teacher. When I addressed this with the director I was simply told this was normal behavior for the age group and if the teacher had deemed to to be excessive she would have addressed it. 5.While regular handwashing is talked about quite a bit during the tour, it was not happening. Many times I picked up my child either right after playtime/before a snack or meal time or during a diaper change and the children were never made to wash their hands. I addressed this observation once with the director and noticed no improvements. 6. My child came home twice with scratches on her body that the staff could never explain. One scratch spanned across her back. 7. My child came home many times with diaper rash, despite us providing 40% zinc oxide diaper cream. On one occasion, I picked my child up and was told that all 3 of the kids left in the room had diaper rash. I don't think it is a coincidence that the last 3 kids left in the room that day all had diaper rash. read more

My granddaughter has been attending Cadence Academy since May 2024. At first she was reluctant for me to leave and would cry. My daughter and I were updated throughout the morning through emails and phone calls reasuring us that she was doing fine. So much so, we are adding another day to her schedule. As someone who was so hesitant about sending my daughter to school, I'm glad that we did. My oldest began in 2/2022 and my younger daughter began this past September. I have been very happy with the school and both my girls had Ms. Anna and Ms. Debra! Both Ms. Anna and Ms. Debra are great teachers and always have the students interacting in every way possible! The continual contact with us throughout the day via the App or even of you call they don't get mad. I also like the fact that they use a curriculum and aren't just "babysitting". My 2.5 and 1.5 year old have been attending Cadence Academy for about a month and I am in awe of the growth I've seen in both of them. As a former teacher, I understand the value of emphasizing kindness in order to gain students' trust. This connection between the staff and children is what ensures the learning process to be successful. My daughter could not wait to go to Cadence after our first initial meeting with them. Every month has a theme that is incorporated into the curriculum. February was "Bodies in Motion" and some activities included TODDLERS using a stethoscope to test their resting vs. active heart rate, a dentist coming in as a guest speaker, learning about healthy vs. unhealthy food in English AND in Spanish. Jaki, the director as well as Jackie, the AD are incredibly accommodating and always take the time to communicate how the kids are doing and updating us on any fun upcoming activities (Sweetheart Vday Dance, Wacky Wednesday, etc). The difference between my children's former school and Cadence Academy is night and day and for what you get, the prices are fair and well worth every penny. read more

My two children have been back at Cadence for over a month and they both love it! We attended pre-pandemic and we knew this was the right place for us to return to. My son is thriving in the Pre-K class. The activities and preparation they are doing for Kindergarten goes above and beyond our expectation. All of the teachers are wonderful, but a big shout out to Miss Josemary, Miss Jae, and Miss Anna. They take wonderful care of our children and we couldn't be happier. Also, both Jaki and Jackie (Director and Assistant Director) are wonderful to interact with. Very quick to respond and remedy any concerns that may arise. read more

Cadence Academy is a place our daughter is thrilled to attend. Our 4 year old arrives at school and is picked up at the end of the day with a smile on her face. The teachers and staff are very attentive to her likes and wants. They plan fun, hands on, experiential curriculum that makes learning interesting! As a kindergarten teacher for 15 years, I can see that the teachers really demonstrate an understanding of developmentally appropriate learning as well as the nurturing they require. The Kids Report app that the school uses is very effective, we are always happy to receive updates on her day, especially when a picture is sent! Anytime I've asked a question in the portal, a quick response is provided. read more

I am so happy with our experience at Cadence Academy and I can see that my son is thriving here. He adjusted to school pretty quickly which says a lot considering he hasn't been in a daycare setting since he was a baby due to the pandemic. In just two months, he is already asking me if he can stay at school longer and if he can go more days because he is having such a good time that he doesn't want to go home! It means a lot to me that the environment is warm and friendly and that my son is receiving lots of attention from his teacher and even teachers in other classrooms too. Our children have been going to this school for several years now. We absolutely love the staff. The classes are small and our children are happy. During Covid the school closed down for a bit and we ended up having to send our children to another school. it was a horrible experience. We rushed back to Cadence as soon as they opened. Sending my 3 year old daughter to Cadence Academy has truly been a blessing. This is the first time she has been in separate schools from her older brother who just recently started Kindergarten and her teachers welcomed her with such warmth and love. Normally, she's not the easy to open up and be affectionate towards people she doesn't know but her adjustment period was slim to none. She walked right in like she owned the place! My one year old son was never away from home until I enrolled him in Cadence Academy.  I couldn't believe how warm and home-like the place feels. The staff is so caring of him and I am so comfortable with how he is treated.  The fact that I can see up to the minute reports of his day and pictures that are posted throughout puts this working mom at ease. read more

My daughter had been a student at Primetime for three years so I've seen many positive and negative aspects of the school. One of the biggest positives is the teachers. My daughter loves her Prek and 3yr old (Dinos) teachers. She is a product of their nurturing, curiosity-inspiring methods and now knows how to write, communicate and socially thrive because of them. She explains the world around her so eloquently, I sometimes forget she's only 4! However, there are some negative factors. This is a daycare and not a learning center, so the curriculum is not as structured. Additionally, there has been a decline in the quality of service since the leave of the original director, assistant director and operational director. The welcoming feeling is lost with the new admin assistant. Billing has become confusing at times and is worsened by the poorly written letters explaining it to parents. Trying to decipher their terrible grammar is ridiculous. The school overall is a great place with teachers who love their jobs. It's just the curriculum and admin staff that need a lift. read more

My son has been going to Prime Time for over a year. It took me a long time to muster up the courage to trust someone else with my son, besides me or our beloved nanny. I am so glad I took the leap of faith with Prime Time. I can go to work and focus knowing my son is in great hands. He learns something new every day, and it amazes me. They have lunch options available for busy parents like us, and they have extracurricular activities(like self defense) come to the school so I can spend my Saturdays and evenings with my son and not dropping him off at karate and rushing around. This is my second child, so when I say I am impressed I mean it. They rarely close which is great for parents who have to work no matter what. I have checked out several daycares and none of them wowed me like this one, it's not as expensive as kinder care but it is truly wonderful. All of the girls are very attentive to your child needs and parent requests. Place is clean and spacious. So far we are still in the infant room and it's magical there. Sharleene, Gentiana and Kate ( Kitty Kat ) are just absolute gems, and a director Mellisa is amazing too, she piggy back rides my son! Who does that ?! Place is filled with loving and caring people that love going to work. I don't know what we are going to do once he turns 5. Can prime time start schools for kids over 5 years of age ? My children have been attending Prime Time in Paramus for more than 4 years and I highly recommend it for an early learning center. The classroom teachers - from the infant room all the way through Pre-K - are wonderful. They not only provide a stimulating learning atmosphere, but show love, guidance, and reassurance to the children as they grow. The administrative staff are approachable, helpful, and keep parents up-to-date. The facility is only a few years old, very clean, and organized. There is also a large, gated outdoor play area complete with water sprinklers for the hot summer days. If I could give 0 stars I would. I thought this was a good school until I realized they profile and pick who can and can not join. If you get any assistance do not waste your time. Before they know they will say they have plenty of space. After you tell them they will tell you there is no room at this time. BS! Disappointed doesn't even sum up how I feel. read more
