They celebrate holidays and birthdays, creating a space that my daughter looks forward to going to each day. If you decide to join the Appletree family, your child will be in good hands!

The staff is so accommodating; they have answered all of our questions right away and send frequent updates throughout the day about your child. It is awesome to watch all of the activities and lessons the kids engage on throughout the day. With the pandemic, the school has been extremely cautious and following all of the state guidelines and hygiene protocols. My husband and I feel completely comfortable sending our son knowing the school is as prepared as they are. Since starting at Appletree, our son has become more social with other children, has displayed more patience, and his vocabulary has increased. I would give the testers and the school a 10/10!

I'm so sad my daughter is leaving the school to start kindergarten in the fall but let me just say they are BY FAR the best! I would not recommend this daycare based on my family's experience. From the moment I toured the…read morefacility, I had concerns. During the tour, I witnessed a teacher raising their voice at a 2-year-old, which immediately left me questioning the environment and the level of training provided to the staff. I know some teachers can give tough love I gave it the benefit of doubt. My biggest concern came after my 3-year-old attended. I was informed by a staff member that he had made a sexual gesture or comment. As his parent, I know the behavior they were referring to was simply him picking his nose and putting his finger in his mouth--a gross but very typical behavior for a 3-year-old the other teacher even came out as I was extremely concerned to say it was innocent. The teacher accusing my son attacked me none the less at pick up not even a hello. The situation was handled in an extremely unprofessional manner, and I was shocked that such a serious accusation was made instead of approaching it with appropriate understanding of normal toddler development. What was equally disappointing was the lack of communication afterward. After this incident was reported to management, neither the director nor anyone from administration reached out to check on my child, discuss the situation, or address my concerns. That level of follow-up and accountability was completely absent. In my opinion, the facility also appeared unclean, and the overall professionalism of the staff did not inspire confidence. After this experience, I chose not to send my son back and enrolled him elsewhere. The difference in professionalism, communication, and care has been night and day. I also encourage parents to review the daycare's inspection history and any licensing violations through the New Jersey child care licensing records before making a decision. It's important to do your research and make an informed choice about where you entrust your child. Every child deserves to be cared for by patient, well-trained professionals in a safe, clean, and nurturing environment. Unfortunately, that was not our experience here.

This school definitely needs to be investigated! the curriculum sucks! and they don't teach shit. kids don't even have a freakin WORK BOOK! also why are they charging so much for tuition but can't even get a proper photographer for the kids pictures c'mom! and the weirdos in the front act so concerned my son said melissa slapped him i definitely believe it now renee acts clueless to everything. my son also was having an allergic reaction and i noticed when i picked him up and took him to the doctor but let it be the other kids who don't look like his color they parents would've been called. The only teacher my son has ever liked was ms.gianna! she treated him so well and i believe she's probably the best there i hope she's leaves to find something better!! My son new teacher is very nurturing and loving and my son loves her soo much! i wish i found this school sooner. please keep your black children away from this dump everyday ms.devyn would write my son up and she wanted to have enough of them to kick him out but i said bump it and pulled him out! when she was on maternity my son never received a write up and i was getting good reports but soons she came back it was HELL!!' and he would even tell me all the teachers are so mean to him and would yell in his face. and he was very honest and said she kept doing it and he kicked her! i wanted to pull him before and i should've but i was told things would change and nope! that's my fault!! I cannot imagine sending my son anywhere else for childcare at this point. Also, TLE Paramus's leadership has done an impressive job managing the center during the pandemic. It has not been an easy situation for anyone, but the leadership has done a commendable job creating a safe environment and communicating news regarding illnesses and positive COVID cases.

My 4yo and 14 month twins have been here for a month now- true game changer in my 4 year olds life. She has been in childcare since she was 6 months old. In the past month I have noticed an improvement in both her language and behavior. For the first time she is excited about "going to school" each morning. Such a relief from the mommy guilt of leaving her each day to work full-time. She loves her teachers, classmates, and the curriculum. The facility itself is beautiful, and the staff truly cares about the children. I love the added programs at no added cost - sign language, Spanish, yoga, etc is all included in the fee. My 14 month old daughter signed "more" the other day when she was finished with her snack - it was amazing! My 4yo signed "please may I have some more" back to her right after. A SUPER proud mom moment, thanks to the teachers at TLE. I would recommend this facility to anyone with a young child in the area (from 6 weeks to 6 years.) I have visited a number of other early learning centers in the area and this one is leaps above the rest in every way!

Esthetics: KinderCare was very nice esthetically; our location resembled a cute little schoolhouse…read morewith clean grounds, clean interior (you don't smell any odor of poop or bleach... like some places I've toured), and definitely bright and airy. Everything I was looking for of the ideal poster image daycare. Both classrooms (1s and 2s); large & spacious, with sections for play, reading , lunch/craft table, and diaper changes/toileting; every child had there own cubby area w/ coat hook and bin (that have their facial picture and their names - cute touch!). Price Tag: Ideal = costly. The school tuition is expensive, however there are two perks; tuition includes blankets and all meals. You supply the typical stuff -- diapers and wipes (ointment, etc). There are additional classes called Learning Adventures (offered for an additional fee $50 per child), I signed my kids up for Music, which in my opinion was a waste of money. My children never hymned or sung the songs they learned at home. At the school they attend now, they do. The teachers there all seemed very nice and pleasant. Class size moderate 2:10 (varies each day). Staff: Stacey DeMarco, the school's director is very nice, however, you will not be dealing with her most of the time. It will be either Kristin, whom is the Asst Director and/or Megan, renamed the Program Specialist -- those two were not always the most personable or easy to talk to. In my opinion, that can make or break a school, and it definitely played a part with me removing my kids. Credentials: The school was in the final stages of becoming NAEYC accredited, which by now they are. However, the overall education factor wasn't there for me. I was looking for more of a preschool setting, with curriculum and pre-K preparation. It appeared to be more Playtime oriented, 1 and 2 year olds play, yes, but not all day, that didn't sit well with me. Other Stuff: There is definitely a nice diversified mix of kids. However, some of those kids displayed signs of biting, and also very sickly. My children were getting sick very frequently at this school; the policy they adhere to is the State's policy, so only if the child(ren) are feverish, has diarrhea, and/or vomiting -- will the children's parents be called to pick up a child. My daughter was sick and no one ever called me to tell me she was or appeared to be ill (i.e. watery eyes, runny nose, looked pail -- a teacher, and one who is a mother, should definitely be able to pick up on those signs). When a parent calls and everything is always fine or great, that raises an eyebrow for me, especially when its week one and two, and this is their first time going to school.
