what a lunch it was and that too in such a beautiful location (waterfront dining). Some restaurants are just too good, and Caddy's is one of them. it will be one of the finest meals I had in my life. Location, weather, ambiance, and my wife's birthday - thank you, god! I am grateful. I might be overreacting, but some moments are there where you had the time of your life, and it was one of them. And I was also visiting this from Jersey, so I was in tourist mode if that helps :P we were on the boardwalk and exploring all the shops. we found Caddy's location perfect for having lunch (good decision) lol, especially the waterfront dining part. We requested to Server get us a table near to waterfront. It's 2 PM, rush time, but we got that after 15-20 minutes. you do not need to wait around, you'll get a text when your table is available. We settled, ordered drinks, and was enjoying the surroundings. We ordered- Crab Cake Dinner: fresh crab cake with chips, salad & sauce. it was great, 2 big fat crab cake patties, I was full having one, but had the rest while enjoying the surrounding. Fish & Chips: it was grouper fish, normally you get 3-4 fish strips, but it was one big chunk of grouper fish with coleslaw and sauce. both items were great. Service might be a little slow as they have to go to the kitchen and return (not the usual distance as you are on the waterfront side) - but I guess ambiance covers this part. Price: it was $25-30 per person (minus drinks). Reasonable Ambiance- I already explained much I guess :P We enjoyed the food, our time spent, and the location! Definitely recommended. And hey, did I mention, we also watched a few dolphins in the water... Yeah Parking: Municipal Parking, it's free but gets full so wait in one lane for 10-15 minutes, and you can grab a spot. check the parking pic. also, onsite parking is available but i got Municiple parking so I did not check theirs.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION Here's why... We were happy to find a place that was open until 10 PM. We arrived at 9:20 and asked if we could still be seated and served. A gracious hostess named Julia said "Of course" and welcomed us. After our initial pleasant greeting, it went downhill from there. My daughter was served a cup of apple juice with a giant winged insect in it...inside the kids lid even. At 10:10 PM we were finishing our food when our waiter with a 70s porn mustache clapped his hands loudly and said "OK folks it's time to wrap it up and go!" I asked him if I could finish the meal that I paid for. That set him off and he said "It's really rude to come in right before we close!" Don't worry, won't be making that mistake again. Still shocked at how they treat paying customers. Drinks are weak and food is greasy anyway so no need to go back.

Came for lunch while on vacation. It's a nice casual spot on the beach with a great view of the beach & Gulf. Dog friendly. Drinks were delicious & cute souvenir cups. Service was good & friendly. Food was ok. My husband enjoyed his Salmon BLT, but I wasn't a fan of the Fish Spread App or Cobb Chicken Wrap. FYI you need to pay for parking but show your receipt and you receive a discount on your bill.

Came to Caddy's John's pass to have a few drinks after walking around the stores with the girls. The service was great and the place wasn't busy. Our bartender was really nice and brought our drinks quick.

A great return visit. We waited about 40 minutes to sit in the dock and again it was well worth the wait. We saw a Pirate Ship docking and that was neat. Our table had blackened fish, nachos, and chicken and fries. The food was good and service was great!

We were visiting from out of state. We popped in for the views. When we sat down I looked at the reviews and was disappointed lol. We decided to order an appetizer and hang for a bit. We ordered the chicken nachos. We were disappointed at first bite lol. They melted cheese was not great. It did not have cilantro or guacamole as mentioned in the menu. It was just the cheese, chicken, and tomatoes. There was a tiny tiny bit of sauce... maybe it was the bbq that's mentioned in the menu I thought it was salsa but either way it wasn't much and it wasn't flavorful. Overall it was ehh. We decided to not order entrees. The views are beautiful and I'm not sure about drinks because we didn't order any. I wouldn't return to eat here. I only gave 2 stars because our waitress Melissa was great!

We were looking for a casual place that wasn't outside since it was so hot, and looking at the menu outside, it had a nice variety for our party of 4. Since it is September and off season, it was empty at lunch time on a Thursday. Our server was friendly and quickly took our drink order. The menu has a large variety of specialty drinks, which, after we ordered, we realized there were no prices. Big mistake on our part. I had the small Watermelon Wave and it was $18.25. My husbands large of a different drink was $22. Yes, they tasted fine, but the alcohol content was minimal for that price. Total rip off. One super annoying thing was all the pigeons and crows walking among the tables, on the tables, on the chairs and eating out of plates not yet removed from the tables. Not sanitary at all. There are appetizers, salads, sandwiches and entrees. I opted for the chicken quesadilla, which comes with kettle chips. There is an up charge for any other side. Our food came quickly and my meal was hot. The quesadillas were good, but I wasn't totally thrilled with the peppers in them, as it isn't something that is normally there. In the end, we each only had one drink and a meal and our drink order was way more than our food. Not likely to return.

This place is very touristy but fun! In addition to the large main open air tiki dining area, they have floating docks where you can sit waterside with views of all the action dolphins, boats etc., I just had a giant to go Margarita and checked the place out. It's very cool & has a very cool little gift shop with some cool swag. The menu and food looked great but I had already eaten. The Margarita was very nice in the color changing souvenir cup. The drink list looked fun! Would def return with friends for Margaritas & food. Touristy but fun! Recommend.

Atmosphere - Just OK. Your typical dive beach bar/restaurant. Main part of the restaurant is located below the upper boardwalk and is open air. Although situated along the inlet, there are only a few tables that offer a view of the water, other than those situated along the pier. Service - Good. Although no major issues, there was a mixup with a drink order and a side upgrade request that was never provided to the kitchen. Food - Disappointing. I ordered a the cheeseburger with a side of macaroni salad. The burger is advertised as being a half pound, but it seemed smaller than other 1/2 lb burgers that I have been served in other restaurants. It was cooked to the temperature requested and tasted fine. However, the bun was so stale that it broke apart when I bit into it. The side of macaroni salad was so small that it was laughable. Overall Value - not sure that I need to answer this, do I? There are other restaurants in this area that are a far better value.

The location was great. We were seated on the deck so we had a nice view. The waitress was friendly. The food was ok but nothing to write home about. Food was overpriced.

The Hit Bar and Grill is a extension of Caddy's. The food and service was good just as it is at Caddy's. The Hut is super cute and intimate. Great to get a drink or bite before taking a Florida Tiki Tour. Drinks are good and reasonably priced. They even have frozen drink machines which are cooling, refreshing and quit delicious but slow down to avoid a

They had a fresh catch of grouper that day, so we decided to try the grouper nuggets. They're market price, but absolutely worth it. Even our friend preferred them over his fried fish. The batter was light, crispy, and delicious. Our kids ordered the bacon cheese fries and loved them. Just a heads-up: they use a nacho cheese sauce rather than shredded cheese, which some people may prefer to know ahead of time. Our friend from Massachusetts ordered the lobster sub (also market price) and said it was worth every penny. My husband and I split the grouper nuggets and the Philly cheesesteak. The bread is brought in from up north, and our server's recommendation did not disappoint. The sandwich was rich, flavorful, and one of the highlights of the meal. We also tried the onion rings. They use a beer batter, which wasn't our favorite, but that's more of a personal preference than a criticism. Overall, we'd definitely return if we're in the area again. The only downside was parking--$29.99 for two hours is pretty brutal. Thankfully, the food and atmosphere helped make up for it.

Third, I asked a server if it was "seat yourself". She rudely replied that she was a server, there were people waiting, and I had to wait outside until they called me. Well excuse the hell out of me for not knowing how y'all do things. I am a forgiving person. I can forgive a lot of things. But I absolutely will not forgive or tolerate rude behavior from anyone. The story has a happy ending though. I found a better place. Free parking. Mostly locals. And a very friendly bartender. Excellent grouper sandwich too. Dockside Dave's. Alls well that ends well!

Well-versed on the menu and a very pleasant lady. It's certainly not a fancy place and it looks like it's been around for a while, but it's the kind of place where you might like to hang out at the bar. Everyone there seems to be friendly and you get that comfortable feeling. We had a variety of food items, some better than others but nothing below average. Really good salads, as you can see by the pictures, a nice job on the chicken wings, a BLT that was pretty tasty; the butternut squash soup was OK, pretty thick and not hot at all. One was returned to the kitchen to be heated up. There was a chicken dip that really didn't hit the spot, and the tortilla chips that came with it seem to be past their prime. As for the fried mushrooms. I found them pretty much ordinary. A nice surprise were the brussels sprouts with balsamic and goat cheese. Really really good. Overall, I would give the food about a 3 1/2 stars at the service five stars so what averages out around four stars. Like I said it looks like a nice place to hang around and have a couple of beverages and a little something to eat.

We came here one night for drinks and after seeing the menu knew we had to come back for a meal. The food looked so amazing and it was very hard to choose which option to go with. For the app we had the crab Rangoon dip and the Midwesterner in me was missing my cheese so we also had the Wisconsin cheese curds. The cheese curds were pretty classic and the Parmesan cheese on top added a nice twist. The crab dip... I'm drooling just thinking about it. If you like crab you need to get that app. For the meal, I had the Surf and Turf with coconut shrimp. Sweet Mary was I glad I did. The steak was cooked to absolute perfection and the coconut shrimp with spicy Thai sauce was so good. The shrimp had the perfect crunch while the shrimp themselves were tender. They also have a wide variety of drinks and beers which was nice to try some new things. I do also want to do a shout out to Robert who was our waiter. He was phenomenal! Orders perfectly taken, he was polite yet had some fun and laughs with us, and was very patient when a couple people in our group were "picky" eaters. While he had several tables he was serving he was always right there if he noticed our waters or drinks being close to empty. Food will make people talk, but food and service will bring people back. The food was top notch and the service was some of the best in town. There was a ton of lettuce on it, which I was not a fan of and the bun split very easily. I ended up just eating the lobster straight off the plate. Definitely not worth the price in my opinion. I'd go with something else. My girlfriend got the Lobster Alfredo and it was not good. The pasta was super doughy and overcooked. The Alfredo sauce itself didn't have a lot flavor either. The whole thing was just not good and once again not worth the price. Our niece got butter noodles and they were the same way. Overcooked and tasted like they'd been sitting in water or something. She didn't eat it. I would skip the pasta entrees. The other item we were disappointed with was the Crab Rangoon dip. It had a fishy tang to it that we weren't a fan of. Someone in our group got the tacos for taco Tuesday and said they were good. Chicken tenders were also yummy. Overall, we had an okay experience.
