They are the worst broke a cabinet and ripped off bottom of my couch delivering it. Loss 5 boxes. Now someone is trying to use my name. They offered me $50 for my five boxes. I would never recommend this company. Just want your money but don't want to take responsibility when they deliver your stuff to the wrong person. I could not believe the response they gave me about trying to locate my belongings. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I had somebody from Cadden's come to my house for an in-person estimate of my moving expenses. He saw the whole property, gave me the estimate, and Vanessa scheduled the appointment three weeks in advance. On the day of the move, the guys showed up and said they are refusing to do the job because the stairs looked unsafe. They were very unprofessional and rude about it. I was disgusted with the way the employees treated me. They drove away and they later refunded me the deposit to hold my appointment. I believe the on-site estimator should have said they could not accept the job due to the stairs if it was an issue. BTW, the stairs are not dangerous. It was an over reaction and I think it's hilarious that a moving company employing "men" to lift things and move them for a living would refuse a job. This left me in a horrible and stressful situation since I was relying on Cadden's to move me in on the only half day I could get off of work to do this move. Please bring your business to a different moving company who will be reliable and commit to their appointments after already inspecting the place and accepting the job. read more

Cadden Movers did a phenomenal job moving our items in Taylor, PA. Everyone at Cadden did a tremendous job from Lisa at the office to the movers who moved my mom's entire house. ***Thank you to Carlos, Larry and Chris who not only showed up on time, but treated my mom's house, new apartment and furniture with TLC--tender loving care. **** The movers contacted us about the scheduled appointment, wrapped the furniture, kept on a very tight schedule and were professional, courteous, respectful and personable. You never want to have movers who are gruff or impersonal--the guys that Cadden sent understood that sometimes moving is very emotional, especially when an elderly parent has been in a house nearly 50 years. In fact, when we got to the apartment, they put my mom's furniture exactly where she wanted it, put the beds together and did everything with courtesy and love. Thank you, Cadden! First off, I'd like to say, being retired military, my family and I have been moved by big name moving companies numerous times all over the U.S., and overseas. Having said that, we sold our house in Scranton, Pa. and needed to store our furniture while searching for our new home all the way in Las Vegas, Nevada. Needless to say, a family friend recommended Caddens Moving Storage Company. Caddens came in, packed our house effects and securely placed our items in storage. Pat, one of the company owners, personally came to our house during the pack out. I thought his being there was impressive . Caddens stored my furniture and other household items for over a year and a half, part of which was during the pandemic. I was amazed at how cheap the storage fee was! Normally, Caddens Moving Storage services the east coast. I actually thought I would have to contract one of the bigger companies like United Van Lines or Allied. I even got quotes from each, which were both ridiculously high. Knowing that Caddens normally doesn't deliver to Nevada, I was surprised when I talked to Pat, and he asks when did I need my items, and he would see what he could do. Well, I feel Caddens went out of their way to assist me, and guess what? They delivered our furniture at half the price that I was quoted by the big companies. Not one item was broken or missing. Our driver Russ, and the young man who assisted him, Adrain, were both fantastic! They took exceptional care moving my furniture and putting things together and hauling off the wooden crates and other empty boxes . Russ and Adrian, nice job! I know this review is long, and I could even go on, but the point is, Caddens was well worth my dollar and my time, and they are an extremely professional and well qualified moving and storage company! I have never once written a review for any product or service, but I don't wish the experience we had with Cadden Moving Bros. on anyone else. We hired Cadden Moving Bros. to help load a Uhaul for a recent move from Northeast PA. When the three men arrived, they began swearing left and right that they had to move all of our furniture and boxes, which was literally what we hired them for. As a woman, I also felt incredibly uncomfortable by some of the comments that they made to me when my fiancé would leave the apartment to check on the truck parked out front. In addition to the inappropriate and unprofessional behavior, we also have several pieces of furniture that were permanently damaged. While on the clock, two of the men took several smoking breaks and then proceeded to unwrap our couch to move it onto the Uhaul. Not only is the couch now stained because they removed the wrapping, but it also smells of cigarette smoke. Upon arriving at our new house, we also found our dresser entirely cracked in the middle due to the way that they loaded it into the truck. However, despite all of this, what I'm most disheartened by was the communication I received after calling Cadden Moving Bros to file insurance claims for the damaged pieces. When Pat picked up the phone (because he wouldn't call me back, I had to call him several times), he was incredibly harsh and insinuated that I was exaggerating about his employee's behavior and actions. He then proceeded to deny the claims for my damaged furniture in emails that were less than kind or professional. Never once did he ever express empathy or apologize for the poor customer experience received or the money that is now lost. I am posting on behalf of my grandparents who moved approximately one week ago. Forget any other grievances that exist because I am writing this review based on only one major issue. THE MOVERS REFUSED TO WEAR MASKS. MY GRANDPARENTS ARE 80 AND 87 AND EVEN ASKED THEM TO WEAR MASKS AND THEY LITERALLY FLAT OUT REFUSED. This moving company was 100% ok with potentially exposing my elderly AND HIGH RISK grandparents to COVID for what? To prove what point? I am fuming. Hopefully they will not be able to do this to anyone else for much longer, but if you are thinking of hiring a company right now, and want them to follow proper COVID protocols and guidelines, FORGET THIS ONE. My mother recently used Cadden Bros to move to another state. Unfortunately they lost several of her items and did not follow up on her phone calls. Poor customer service. She would not recommend them for moving since they were unorganized and unprofessional. read more

I would rate zero if that was an option! Steer clear! Started off by arriving a few hours late. Bc they were late they were unable to move everything in to the new house. They took our belongings back to their storage. I had to ship my children to friends and family bc there was no where for them to sleep. Couches and all were on the truck. We weren't even a priority, they said they would bring it when they could. So another night kids shipped out. Apparently they didn't realize my windows were open during the move. I saw them drop my tanning bed and all 3 throwing out the f bomb. They never mentioned it, so I just waited. When they finally brought my belongings they buried the tanning bed in my garage, my guess hopes I wouldn't notice. Part of it they left outside, didn't even have the decency to put it in the garage. When they completed the move, they brought me papers to sign. Again no mention of smashing the bed. I asked, they denied. So your telling me you didn't drop the bed? He responded no. Claimed nothing happened with the bed. Lies, I watched and heard. My windows were open. He was surprised when I told him the windows were open ( it was late nov). He then responded " in my defense it was heavy". 2 seconds ago you didn't drop it, now it was to heavy. I know it's heavy which is why I asked you to take it apart. They didn't take it apart, 6 bolts would have been so much easier and I would still have a bed. What would possess 3 rather small guys attempt to move it without disassembling. Commercial beds are very expensive and weigh the same as 2 full size refrigerators! They should have dissembled or called for back up when the struggle began, no they called for back up after they smashed it. I was told someone would be out to assess the damage. After a few phone call pat (the owner) came out. His ppl skills are less than desirable, actually he was quite ignorant. He looked at it and said so? I'm not going in there, it's all electric. He gave me attitude bc I wouldn't use a smashed bed, tugged the side and said it's about 200lbs. Picked up the part they left outside and tossed it in the garage, there is that better Next I get a check in the mail for $167. Wth am I supposed to do with that? Numerous emails, no response. He wouldn't even take the time to do proper calculations. The bed is slightly over 400 lbs nono legs for the tanning bed either! I'm not sure if they left them at the other house but I have no legs. they also moved a decent size bar. I have no hardware to put the bar back together, again sent emails so I can put the bar together and again no response. I'm left with a useless tanning bed and a bar I can't put together and a check for $167. I could have paid kids to move this stuff at a fraction of the price and had better results! If your moving anything expensive choose a different company! All you get are lies,poor customer service and broken items read more

Never in my life have I met such a bunch of useless, disrespectful, incompetent "men" I use the term men loosely for I have never met men so disgusting and disrespectful in my life. They were hired to move furniture from PA to New York a dining room set to be exact. Upon arrival they were greeted and asked if they would mind please putting on a mask not just bc of covid but because I was sick with Cancer and currently had no immune system bc I am undergoing treatment (I explained even though I shouldn't have had too). We were told "I don't need to wear no damn mask" I explained again why and was told "no if it's that serious I'll leave your stuff on the lawn and you could bring it in yourself" OF course I can't do that! Not only were they rude but they had NO IDEA what they were doing what so ever! After about 10 minutes I guess the one man realized I didnt just ask about the mask to be rude and decided to wear it and actually even apologized for his coworker for still refusing to put it on and being rude! Anyway I'm sure theres much better movers in the area I'd go with them! read more

I moved from PA to FL. I had my kitchen packed by Cadden movers, I packed the rest of the house. The packers were friendly, professional, and took care with my china, etc. The movers, who came and loaded the truck were also the same. When my items arrived in FL, after going through a tropical storm on the way down, several items were water damaged. Two kitchen boxes were so wet the mover carried the box contents in, in his arms. Let me say, none of the items I packed arrived broken. As I unpacked the kitchen boxes, several items were broken. I was also missing items, that I came to the conclusion that an entire kitchen box did not arrive. Now I could only remember a few items I am missing, as I did a lot of downsizing and donated many items. My rolled up oriental rug had a water line down it and smelled so moldy when I unrolled it. I contacted Cadden immediately when I found items broken or missing and later about the rug. I filled out their claim form and had to put weighs for all the items. Well, it seemed I only had insurance for 60 cents a pound for these items. I received a check for $225. The rug cleaning cost $162 alone and my Kitchen Aid mixer (that arrived broken) costs $159 to buy a new one. I am appalled at the amount I received. This is how a family owned business runs their business. Don't use them. I would never recommend them. read more

Stay away!!!! Items STOLEN from us. We used this company to move in October 2018. After unpacking I noticed several items were gone. All brand name items - UGG boots, my sons Ralph Lauren snow boots, digital camera baby monitor. I contacted the company and they were completely unprofessional and told me there was nothing they could do about it. I'm leaving this review now because again, I went to look for my Vera Bradley diaper bag - nowhere to be found, and I 100% packed it. I'm sure other items have walked away and I just haven't realized it yet. read more

BEWARE of this company - I scheduled and hired these guys weeks in advance to handle my move. On the morning of my move, they show up over an hour and a half late. If that wasn't bad enough, they come into my home, look around and then tell me that I have too many boxes...WHAT????? Are you not a moving company. You agreed to handle my move knowing what was involved - by the way, i am a single, older person, with a 2 bedroom apartment. Most companies would still perform the job and charge extra if there were more items than expected (which there wasn't). What kind of an excuse is this? Since I had arranged to have everything moved that day, I had already arranged for utilities to be turned off, so I really needed to get everything moved, so I asked if they could at least move my heavy item (frig, stove, etc.), they said no and then left, literally leaving me high and dry, and since they canceled at the last minute, I was not able to find another company that was available. What kind of company does this???? My advice - STAY AWAY from this company and go with a company that is much more professional, honest, and ethical. I wish I would have read the other reviews beforehand! read more
