While here they explain in the 7 years since I last used them they've expanded their offerings to Sun Protection including sunscreens and outdoor sun protection roller shades. I had no idea and while I had no needs in those areas I casually mentioned a problem I was having to see if they could offer a solution.. My house has a flat patio roof like many here in Phoenix, with stucco pony walls that direct water to one drain. The flat part is in good shape but the top of the stucco pony walls have deteriorated badly, to the point that one can see rusted chicken wire in the deteriorating stucco. (See before pictures). My house was scheduled to be painted and I knew even repairing the damaged stucco and painting it wasn't going to be a good long term fix. While I knew standard rain gutters weren't the answer, I asked Andre if he could think of a solution to prevent future sun deterioration as well as water intrusion to the top of those walls. He quickly grabbed a ladder, took some measurements and notes and came up with a proposal on the spot. You can see the results in the 'After Pictures. They fabricated a custom cap out of aluminum that covers the top of the wall from end to end. The installation is beautiful and looks as it was always part of the plan. In actuality it should have been. I can't thank Andre and Phoenix Rain Gutters and Sun Protection enough for their creativity, craftsmanship and excellence. After doing our homework and getting several estimates, we chose Weather-Tite. We were initially told the project would take five days, but it ended up taking fourteen. Throughout the process, my husband had to closely supervise the work due to repeated mistakes by the installer. Many issues had to be identified and corrected by us rather than the crew. The installer, Hector appeared to lack experience with homes that have replacement windows like ours. At one point, he suggested removing the windows entirely, which was unnecessary. My husband had to step in and explain how to properly complete the work without doing so. There were multiple workmanship concerns, including: Gaps that were improperly addressed with excessive caulking Cleanup that we ultimately had to handle ourselves, including nails and debris Significant issues with the upstairs portion of the project An outdoor electrical outlet that was trimmed incorrectly, preventing a cover from being installed (my husband had to fix this himself) Damage to our screen door, which required us to push for proper compensation The installer even left our job during the project to provide an estimate to a neighbor Kaleb, our salesperson, was responsive and consistently came out to verify concerns and help resolve issues. We truly appreciate his efforts and professionalism during a very frustrating process. Unfortunately, our experience with Brock, the project manager, was very different. His communication was dismissive and at times disrespectful toward my husband, despite the clear and ongoing issues with the work. Rather than acknowledging the problems, he seemed to defend the crew's performance. My advice to you Brock is go to your website and retract your quotes. Because customer satisfaction is clearly not your top priority! While we are ultimately satisfied with the finished appearance of our home, the process to get there was extremely stressful. I needed someone to do both because I know that repairmen charge a travel fee to come to your house and I didn't want to pay this twice by hiring two separate people. Lots of people told me they could only fix one problem. Gustavo was one of the handful who told me he could fix both. For those that don't know, many people in the repair business will want to do a diagnostic check on your issues so that they can give you an accurate quote. Some businesses will charge you for this diagnostic and some won't. As someone who loves to research, I only care about businesses that don't charge a diagnostic fee. Gustavo was so confident in my issues that he told me exactly how much it would cost and that he didn't do a diagnostic check. In fact, unlike literally all other people, he would fix the problem the same day that he messaged me. His pricing was very competitive. Unfortunately, when he went to fix my lights, we both found out that I had a completely different problem. (This is why most repair men do diagnostic checks to begin with) Even though it was different problem, Gustavo was confident in fixing it; it did make my cost increase by $45 but I'm glad that he could fix my problem so well.
