We sat on the patio and Robin was our server. She was very friendly and checked with us many times throughout our dining. It was wine night where most bottles were $35. They gave us a little tasting of the two whites we were considering. We got our calamari quickly. It was delicious and crispy, with two sauces. We shared a unique wedge salad made of romaine and a hefty drizzle of balsamic, plus the normal blue cheese. We both got chicken dishes that came with fingerling potatoes and asparagus. That was a bonus for me, so I didn't have to order pasta. The bread came out after the entrees. We splurged and ordered one piece of delicious cheesecake to share after our meal. They gave us complimentary limoncellos while we waited. It was a positive dining experience.

We ordered a delicious salad, the one with the goat cheese and slivers of dried apricot. The filet was perfectly cooked after a redo. We had a shrimp cocktail with it. We had the grilled asparagus. The star of the show were the French fries which were fried in duck fat. AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS. Dinner was accompanied by a Bloody Mary that while spicy, the tomato juice was not thick as it usually is, so with the ice it watered down quickly. Next time no ice. I made the mistake of ordering a chicken dish at a steakhouse. That was not a smart move. The chicken was tasteless as if no spices or marinade had been used. The mashed potatoes and broccolini were delicious so I had a vegetarian meal. A complimentary birthday cake --chocolate and whipped cream was a light finish to our meal. We had an awesome server Sherianne-- attractive, spunky, friendly, attentive. She's a keeper! Thank you Sherrianne!

Immediately, we were asked what we'd like to drink as bread, butter, and a chip/ dip bite special arrived from the kitchen within 5 minutes. The bar staff was absolutely hopping, but they were very on top of all of their tickets, remained calm, fun, smiling & upbeat as they dealt with people in and out, asking for drinks and doing turns on the stool seating. We ordered everything off of the happy hour menu - Caesar salad, Cobb salad, meatballs, shrimp, and coconut shrimp! The hubs said the best were the salads, I agree they were delicious. But I also loved the coconut shrimp, which looked too well done but they were slightly crunchy and my favorite. We will definitely be back. Oh, and there was live music, a piano player and singer. 10 out of 10 evening.

I'm a club sandwich fanatic and this was the best club in many many years if not ever. Tons of meat and goodness. And the fries were battered and delicious as well. Too much to eat and hard to leave behind. The Caesar was great too. A good amount of chicken and nicely garlicky. We highly recommend this.

Flavorless fried filets, soggy French fries, chewy hush puppies that have a gross powdery center, and a small Cole slaw that's always warm. It seems that the big draw for this restaurant is the spectacular views, not so much the service, or food. Please note that the menu that's on their Yelp listing, is outdated. I tried to place an order by phone. The guy that answered told me I had the wrong restaurant, none of the items I tried to order were on their menu. You'd have to Google their current menu, if you want to see what they have. The guy that answered the phone was abrupt, & condescending also. I would only return here, if they got different management. The current one sucks.

Saddle Bronc has a fantastic menu with so many delicious items to choose from, along with an impressive selection of beers on tap. You can really taste the quality and the family recipes behind each dish. I had the broasted chicken, and it came out piping hot, perfectly crispy, and incredibly juicy. I also can't say enough about the ranch beans and homemade coleslaw--they were absolutely delicious! My friends ordered the daily prime rib special and the chicken sandwich, and they loved their meals too. Overall, Saddle Bronc is everything you hope for in a small-town, family-owned restaurant. Staff is helpful and food options are plenty and delish. They are usually worth the cost. Be prepared to pay more than you might expect. Happy hours may exist here, just have not found that to be common or much of a deal. If money doesn't matter, the bar is a cool and comforting place to meet locals and visitors. You may just need to move to another seat to find people that like words like I do. That is true of most places though. Good place to stare at your phone instead of doing it at home. Just costs a lot more than the latter. Which J do instead of going here. Honest here, have no problems. But if you want an enjoyable experience there are other options in Fountain Hills worth a try.
