Consider this a friendly warning to homeowners: do your homework. After digging deeper, I was fortunate to find ASAP Restoration. One thing that immediately stood out is that they do not work referral deals with plumbers, do not pay kickbacks, and do not play games with deductibles. They simply focus on doing the job correctly. The team was extremely professional. The mitigation/demo crew handled the water damage quickly and thoroughly, and the reconstruction team has been excellent. We're now about 90% finished with the rebuild and everything is coming together great. I just felt the need to share my experience before heading out for spring break. Against my better judgment, I agreed. He promised to send me an estimate right away. Two more weeks passed with no estimate and no communication. I then called their office and spoke with a male receptionist who acted completely uninterested in my concerns. He said he would contact the owner, Patrick O'Dell Steele, and told me Patrick was on a job site but would call me by the end of the day. That call never came.
