SO delicious!! I've had their Chicken Tequila Pasta and Spicy Chicken Bowtie Pasta, and both were absolutely delicious and filling. I already want to keep coming back to try everything on the menu because there are SO many options -- pastas, pizzas, sandwiches, and more. Everything looks delicious! I even noticed they have an option to build your own pizza and have it made in the shape of Hello Kitty!! The best part, what really made me love this place is the family behind the business. You can genuinely tell how much love, hard work, and dedication they put into each other, the food, the business. The mom is one of the sweetest people, and the entire family is so supportive and hardworking. What I especially loved is seeing the same family working there every day, Monday through Sunday. You can really feel that family-owned atmosphere, and I love supporting businesses like that. The prices are also very reasonable, and the location is super convenient since it's inside a central market with other shops and plenty of sweet treats nearby, so there's always more to walk around and explore. Definitely a 5-star spot! I'll absolutely be coming back -- there are way too many things on the menu I still need to try! read more

My family decided to have dinner from this location tonight. It's a cute little place and it has pretty good reviews. I specifically wanted the Labubu feature pepperoni pizza. When we asked the pizza was not available on this evening. I chose a regular personal pepperoni pizza instead. My family members got host dishes and they said that they were good. My pizza was decent size about 10 to 11 inches and the quality of the pepperoni and cheese and sauce was decent. I enjoyed the garlic flavoring on the pizza, it was unique. Overall, this is a great feature pizza place. I am looking forward to getting a Labubu or Hello Kitty pizza in the future when they have them available. An Instagram post pulled me into this place, and I'm so glad it did! I came with my four teens, and every one of us loved it. We ordered the Margherita pizza with Electra sauce, fettuccine Alfredo, lasagna, the trio (chicken parm, spaghetti, and lasagna), and the chicken carbonara. Everything was delicious, but the stars of the show were the chicken parm--easily the best I've ever had--and the pizza. The sauce was perfect, and the crust was light, airy, and buttery. All four teens and I give this place 5 stars and have already added it to our regular rotation. The staff was friendly, helpful, and genuinely seemed to love what they do. Cacio is located inside of the Market on 8th food hall in National City. They serve an impressive range of pastas, pizzas, sandwiches, and salads. I recently came by for my first time and bought a chicken parmesan sandwich. First off, the staff were very welcoming and genuine. Second, the food came out quickly and they gave me a side of chips which I didn't even expect. The sandwich was great. The tomato sauce was very well-crafted--a little sweet and bursting with flavor. The chicken cutlet was perfectly fried, not oily, and was pretty juicy. I'd definitely recommend this spot at least for the chicken parmesan, but the level of flavor that was in it makes me believe most of the menu is great. This is a fast-casual Italian vendor at the Market on 8th food hall in National City. The previous tenant at the stall was a pizza joint that has now set up a brick-and-mortar location in Barrio Logan. Cacio's menu offerings featured appetizers, salads, sandwiches, and of course, the requisite pasta and pizza. There were ten or more choices for the last two categories which was a lot for a small mom-and-pop kitchen. The Spicy Rigatoni was my selection as I wasn't in the mood for pizza or a sandwich. Slices of mild Italian sausage were mixed in with the noodles along with bell peppers, onions, and garlic in an arrabiata sauce. The sausage was not spicy at all, however the sauce had more kick to it than I expected. The order came with a breadstick which I used to buffer the heat from the sauce. We came to celebrate our niece's birthday the other night and Market on 8th gives plenty of food options for everyone. We got one of the bench tables inside (while claiming a few chairs here and there to accommodate our group). I've been following Cacio on Instagram ( cacio _pastas_sd) for a bit and was bummed when I missed out on their Hello Kitty shaped pizzas. Before our visit, I noticed I then again missed their Hello Kitty & Labubu shaped pizzas. I figured let me go to their stall and inquire anyway. Although there was no visible signage indicating so, I asked the cashier. There was a language barrier and thank goodness the cook was able to answer my inquiry. She said both the Labubu & Hello Kitty shaped pizzas are available but, both will be served pepperoni and cheese. For $24 you get a decent sized Labubu pizza. Bread and crust were soft. The sauce was okay. And good portion of pepperoni. I just wanted to order it for the Ooh and Ahh effect. Wouldn't go outta my way to get it again. But, really cute for the kiddos. This is better than some full sit-down Italian restaurants I've been to! I got the trio of lasagna, chicken parmigiana and spaghetti. The pasta is perfectly cooked, the sauces are rich and flavorful, and everything tasted beyond amazing. It has that simple, comforting Italian feel but executed really well. I'd go out of my way to go back there. I can't wait to try more dishes! The only downside is the parking. I ended up circling a few times and parking a couple blocks away. I stumbled upon this hidden gem and ordered the chicken parmesan pasta dish, when I was finished the plate was empty. It was absolutely delicious flavorful, juicy pasta was cooked perfectly. The breadstick brought everything together nicely. My daughter ordered the kung pao chicken and it was absolutely delicious and flavorful. We aren't from San Diego but we were craving Italian food on our way to our hotel. We found this place on google and we stopped, we ordered on our phone then went inside to grab it. The food hit so good! Ready within 15 minutes, we ordered a cheese pizza, chicken Alfredo, and a trio plate. The food here was so good. There were a lot of options of places to eat but decided to try this place. We tried a calzone that had pepperoni, mushrooms, spinach, ricotta and mozzarella cheese. It was glorious. We also tried the chicken tequila pasta and the chicken Caesar sandwich. Loads of flavor. Everything was fresh and warm. Chefs kiss. The icing on the cake was their friendliness. I have been a repeat customer and have tried almost all of the pastas but my favorite is the spicy chicken! The pizza is delicious as well I highly recommend the Buffalo and Barbecue Chicken.
