They wouldn't even let me inform my family I was in the hospital. They also wrote down "co-dependent" in my chart because I was asking to call my partner and my brother to let them know I was there.

The staff were friendly and kind they listened to my wife and cared about her as a person. We got there when there was no emergency line, and they took us right back. The staff were attentive and did the how they could to make my wife comfortable. This is an exemplary facility. Dr. Tormond was wonderful, and Gill the ER Director even stopped by to make sure that everything went well and we were treated well. I cannot recommend this place any higher.

We had to stop few times on the way and finally went to the ER. Luckily, they weren't very busy. We got checked in and taken to the room in 10 min. The nurse and MD were both very nice. Once they found out that we had a flight home in just a few hrs and still had a way to go to SLC they took care of us pretty fast. Basic labs were done in 10 min and I was given copy. The nurses were patient, attentive, and so gentle with my little one, helping keep them calm and comfortable throughout our visit. The doctors took the time to thoroughly evaluate my child, explain everything clearly, and answer all of our questions without making us feel rushed. What stood out most was how genuinely caring everyone was. They not only provided excellent medical care but also showed so much empathy toward our family during a frightening situation. Super fun for the kids to pick which color of chair they'd like to sit in. My daughter had a weird rash that quickly spread all over her torso. Since she's having surgery in a few days, I needed to get her in quick so we could get it taken care of. Her primary doctor wasn't available, and none of the doctors I like at the Layton Wee Care were available, so we chose to see Dr. Dennis in Syracuse. Dr. Dennis was fantastic! Her assistant was busy, so she came out herself to get my daughter. My daughter is usually pretty shy at first, but she instantly clicked with Dr. Dennis and felt comfortable. The doctor was able to quickly figure out what type of rash it was, took the time to explain everything to me, and then made sure we didn't have any questions. We didn't feel rushed at all. We left there with a prescription and the information we needed. I asked my daughter which doctor she wants to see next time and she said definitely Dr. Dennis. We will 100% come back to Wee Care in Syracuse to see Dr. Dennis.

The nurse on the other hand was extremely slow unfortunately, and while the office seemed practically empty, it took 2 hours to be seen for my newborn's visit.
