I had the misfortune to need a tow because my vehicle broke down. I pay for roadside assistance…read morethrough my insurance company, and have not had any real issues with using that system... until today. Let me be clear. This was not an issue with my insurance provided roadside assistance - that part was easy and quick. The issue came after that. I waited for four hours for Solano Bay Towing to assist me in moving my vehicle to a shop not even five miles down the road. During that time, I had reached out by phone to ask for an update, which was stated to be provided once the man on the phone could reach his driver - red flag number one - and asked me to give him ten or fifteen minutes to get him. I gave this man a grace period, I waited almost an hour before I called back. I called back after reaching out to my insurance company, thinking that maybe there was a snag in communication - there WASN'T. I called back, and my call was denied and the person on the phone (I'm assuming the same man that was supposed to call back in ten to fifteen minutes) texted me the supposed name and number of the tow driver. I call - voicemail. Ask for an eta and a phone call back. Nothing. I'm two hour and a half hours deep at this point. Called the original business line - nothing. I was sent to voicemail, which was conveniently FULL. Here enters my wife - she calls the towing company, and the same man answers the phone. She is met with nothing but rude, unpleasant and abrupt answers. At one point during the call, he claims that she cut out (I know well and good that she didn't, because I could hear the background noise on HIS end) and that he didn't get what she said. She reiterated that it was wrong to make someone wait three and a half hours for a tow, with no eta update and no other response. The man HANGS UP, and even after repeated calls to him AND to his driver, we could not get back through. The entire experience with Solano Bay Towing was absolutely horrendous, and I have called my local insurance agent to submit a formal complaint regarding this business - which I can confidently say has reached the regional office. To ANYONE looking to use Solano Bay Towing for their towing needs, steer clear from the horrific experience that I know many others besides myself have had.

They only detailed the interior, but the results were excellent. The car is about 14 years old and had some pretty bad stains from spills that had built up over the years. After the detailing, the interior looked almost like new. The job ended up taking quite a while, but the detailer was extremely thorough and worked consistently throughout the entire process. I really appreciated the attention to detail and the good communication along the way. This was also a special project because the detailing was part of a gift for my parents' 40th wedding anniversary, so I was very happy with how the interior turned out. The employee behind the front desk, who I believe was named Johnny, was extremely rude, arrogant, and dismissive. There was absolutely no reason to treat a potential customer that way. To make matters worse, the prices I was quoted were significantly higher than what my local Porsche dealership charges for the exact same services. Charging more than the dealership while providing far worse customer service makes no sense. After my experience, I read through many of the other reviews and found that several customers described similar interactions. I wish I had read those reviews before stopping in. I will never bring my vehicle here and would strongly encourage anyone considering this shop to read the reviews carefully before deciding where to take their car.
