It takes a lot of patience and multiple visits to leave this type of review. Cabo bobs delicious great food great pricing and if you haven't tried it try it. The service is low key trash ngl but manageable, the food is great. Better than chipotle in my opinion. Lately tho it hasn't been hitting like it used too. The service has been worse than usual. Specially two team members Alexis and Destiny have had both times horrible pissy attitudes that it just ruins the vibe and the experience. Especially when we are weekly customers here. To be frank don't work in the food industry if you can't handle having good customer service and a busy restaurant. It would be a different reason if you give someone a reason to give bad attitude and roll their eyes or throw the punch card at them. But I didn't. I worked in food and bev 10 years, I try to be clear easy and straight to the point because it sucks when a customer is complicated. I didn't call them out in that moment to not cause a scene but to be outright rude for no reason put a sour taste in my mouth and gave my food away to the nearest unhoused person. Will be taking a break from Cabo Bobs and investing my $$ elsewhere. Moving to ordering online, when the time is right. If you're on the fence try it out but my recommendation is to place your order online and just pick up if you're not about bad customer service. read more

I've been here before and the food is usually good. This time it smells like a burnt out motor and tastes like motor oil or gasoline somehow? Don't bother ordering ahead because they will just ignore you at pickup and it will end up taking longer than just standing in the ordering line. I ended up throwing my burrito away this time, disappointed in the food quality and whatever extra "ingredient" was added this time is definitely not meant for consumption. I was so happy to find that San Antonio has one Cabo Bob location and it's conveniently located right next to the airport. Having been in Austin for four years, this was one of my favorite casual eats. This is what I always get: - rice bowl - fish sticks - tortilla on the side (you can get one small one complimentary) or you can get 3 tortillas for $0.99 - grilled veggies (squash + onion) - bean of choice - brown rice - what ever other veggie toppings I'm feeling - 2 scoop of mango pico - end with lime juice as the sauce It's so light and refreshing! The highlight of this place is definitely the fresh pressed tortillas that come in four flavors - buttermilk, ancho chili, cilantro tomatillo (my favorite one), and Smokey cheddar. The fish stick is also always running low because it's amazing! The mango pico - so tasty I always ask for a second scoop. Not sure if you can tell from my description of this place but I'm so obsessed with this chain that I own a T-Shirt as well. I love that they also have the punch cards so when you purchase 6 items, you can use it to redeem for a free meal; or save it up so you can exchange for a T-Shirt eventually! read more

From catering perspective, I would NEVER cater with Cabo Bob's. I attempted to order for my company and I needed to feed 70 people. The Cabo Bob's could not tell me exactly how much food I was paying for that was included in my quote. She quoted me about $1200 with no specifics besides me being able to feed 70 people. Came here with my family for dinner one evening. My nephew worked at the SA airport and would frequent this place so it was his recommendation. I was interested to see in how they stack up versus Freebird's and Chipotle. There is a huge parking lot outside the establishment so it wasn't too crowded. However, once we went inside I was amazed by how full the place was given the overall size of the restaurant. The line to order snaked all the way to the front door. We eventually got in line, and it seemed to move pretty quickly. Menu options were similar to the others (I.e burritos, tacos, bowls, nachos, quesadillas). I opted for the Brisket and Queso burrito. The "guts" I selected included white rice, Baja beans, salsa, and pico. The burrito was put together quickly. After paying for the meal, we hit up the adjacent drink station. I stuck with water but there were a lot of soda options available. The size of the burrito was on par with other burrito places I visited. The brisket was very tender, and everything worked well together flavor wise. Towards the end the burrito did begin to come apart. Overall, I really liked this place. It is a nice alternative to the usual burrito joints. I would likely visit here often if I lived in the area. My only gripe was the price, but everything is pricey these days. read more

The burrito was good, the choices plentiful, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the vibe was very laid back. I very much appreciate the tortilla options and that the tortillas are grilled and not steamed. I also thought they were generous with their protein portions. Sadly, this doesn't quite rise to the level of the gem that was Habanero Grill, but it's certainly a better option than Chipotle! Be aware: they don't have regular sodas on the fountain. I walked into this restaurant and the smell of the food made me immediately excited to try out the menu. I ordered the deluxe fish tacos and although they were good, I feel like my expectations were way too high. The fish had little seasoning, but all the toppings are what saved the taco. The tea I chose, was absolutely the highlight of my visit. It was like a sweet mint tea. OMG...I can still taste it! If they sold it by the gallon, I'd be a repeat customer for sure. I've eaten at this location 5+ times and it is equally as great as the locations in Austin. If you're looking for a burrito bar style restaurant there's really no other option. The food is so fresh, the fresh tortillas are amazing, and the sauces are unique. The 66 Red sauce is an absolute must and should be put on anything & everything. We've tried all the tortillas, but I think the cheddar is my favorite. The chicken is always good, but we've also had the steak, brisket, and the fish tacos. Never had a bad meal here. It gets crowded, but they keep the line moving. Please open another one here in San Antonio! read more
