Be very afraid of doing business with them. This was the worst experience I had during the remodel of my small "L" shaped, 10' x 11' kitchen. I had originally signed a contract for cabinets & granite countertops, but both fell through. On the cabinets, I specified that getting a 30" double oven cabinet was crucial since I had already bought my 27" double ovens. I told their salesperson, Jenny, that it was a deal breaker & was assured that it would be ok, but that she had a call in for the representative of the manufacturer. I gave them a $5500.00 down payment. A week before they were to deliver, she called to say they could not make that size - a very common size cabinet. I had to cancel the order & begin looking for a new cabinet maker putting my project back several weeks without water in my kitchen. Next was the countertop fiasco. I picked out the slab & returned for my appointment to lay out the template. When I arrived, they did not have a template made, 2nd I spent over an hour discussing the layout and taping it off with masking tape with the Chief Granite Cutter & my customer service representative. On delivery day, I discovered it was cut wrong PLUS they damaged 1 of my cabinets removing the 1 piece they had laid in place. They admitted that the Chief Cutter never told the workers how to cut the slab. I returned for another visit to see if we could salvage anything. Another contract was signed to accept 1 piece of the existing cut granite, but to re-cut the other piece plus a $750. credit on my bill. Two days before they were to install, they called to cancel the contract. I refused to take the 2 existing cut pieces. By now the remodel season is well underway, prices are higher everywhere, & lead time is now over 1 month. I was without water in my kitchen for 3 1/2 months because of this company not to mention the utter lack of morals on their part. read more
