We were completely disappointed in the professionalism of the staff and installers. The installers left a bunch of debris all over our home and did not bother to clean up! Here are just a few of the issues we experienced with Paradise Granite. Kitchen: Gouged and stained quartz, Quartz for the bar was cut (measured) too short, When the opening was cut for the cooktop, quartz was chipped. Bathrooms: Several gouges in both guest bathroom walls that will need to be repaired and painted, Quartz in master bathroom was two different colors. We were informed that one piece may have sat in the sun thus resulting in the discoloration. Seams throughout the house are very visible, excessive dust left all over our home in hallways, under cabinets in driveway. We removed all of our countertops and plumbing and then had to reinstall our plumbing without countertops because it looked so bad and the installers knew it. They removed some pieces that day and came back 2 days later to get the remaining pieces. Please.....Beware of PARADISE GRANITE! #DONOTBUYFROMTHISCOMPANY#HORRIBLE#DISHONEST #CHEAPMATERIAL

When looking for a kitchen remodel we were given a recommendation of Pea Ridge Woodworks…read more850.384.7460. Our kitchen needed to be completely gutted, and a wall needed to be removed. We live in Atmore Alabama, a very small town and did not know where to begin to find a good contractor. We called Nathan Hobbs and set up an appointment for a consultation. Nathan was prompt and gave us some really great ideas. He worked very closely with Cabinets to Go and our countertop installer to meet our schedule for cabinet delivery and installation and began work immediately tearing out our old kitchen. This man was very hard working, respectful of our home and cleaned up at the end of each workday prior to leaving. When given a quote Nathan stuck to it, there were no added cost upon completion. I have been through remodels in the past that were extremely stressful and always ended up costing more than quoted. That was not my experience during this remodel. I have now lived with my remodel for a couple of months, and I just love it. It is a room that inspires great meals, and everyone that has visited our home loves it. We have no regrets about decisions made based on Nathans recommendations. I will use Pea Ridge Woodworks for all of my remodel needs in the future. Thank you, Nathan Hobbs, for treating my home as if it were your own, for always listening to my needs and building a kitchen that I love to cook in.

You recognize a good company not only by the quality of its work, but also by how it handles…read moreproblems and whether it acts in good faith. Unfortunately, Troendle and its manager, Mr. Barnes, failed on both counts. The project at my house was relatively small: replacing a tiled section with hardwood flooring to match the original hardwood in the rest of the room. Somehow, that simple job was completely botched. I won't even get into the saga with the subcontractor they initially sent, who damaged walls and trim in several places and left dents in my original hardwood floors. Here were the warning signs: * The project started more than a week late, and Mr. Barnes never bothered to communicate the delay. That should have been my first red flag. But hey, everyone deserves a second chance. * The hardwood was installed less than 36 hours after being delivered to my home--far too little time for proper acclimation. It seemed questionable. But hey, the subcontractor assured me he knew better. * The original, thick asphalt-like moisture barrier was replaced with simple rosin paper. Again, it seemed odd. But hey, the subcontractor assured me he knew better... again. I'll spare you the rest of the circus, but here we are a few months later. The section installed by Troendle has developed significant cupping and now looks like a taco holder. Strangely enough, the problem begins precisely at the very first plank installed by Troendle, while every original hardwood plank immediately adjacent to it--in the exact same room--remains perfectly flat. Mr. Barnes, who as per his sub-contractors and employees, has never spent a day working in construction himself or installed a hardwood floor, insists this isn't Troendle's responsibility but rather a problem with my house. That's an interesting theory, considering the "house problem" somehow respects the exact line where Troendle's installation begins. Unfortunately, Yelp doesn't allow me to upload photos with this review, but I'll certainly be including them on other review platforms. When a company provides poor workmanship, that's disappointing. When it refuses to take responsibility for obvious problems, that's far more telling. It also makes you wonder how many other customers experienced similar issues but simply chose not to leave a review. Most unhappy customers never do.
