I have to say that we are truly impressed with Toni at Cabinet factory outlet in Saint Augustine Florida. She was so helpful from the very start. Our project was at first going to be very large, which would have included floors, new kitchen cabinets and granite counter tops. As our budget started dwindling we had to give up some things but she still honored her granite pricing. I have to say was the most reasonable in the area. When it came time for the countertop, they wanted to charge me $500 for their fee plus another 1500 for the countertop. What a bait and switch. Now I'm without a countertop. Stay away.... read more

Salesman/designer who was fired didn't know what he was doing. They kept having me change the color on my restroom cabinets because they didn't know what colors were avail;bale from their own manufacturer. Delivery dates were constantly changed and delayed. Finally the designer incorrectly designed a cabinet so it hits the oven unless you're very careful to open it then tried to blame my installer for not putting in a filler piece which isn't indicated. . read more

Went into the store and selected cabinets. We paid for those cabinets using a credit card. Then we found out that the doors were not solid wood as we wanted and so we did not approve moving forward with the order. We asked for a refund and we're told the owner was out of the country and there was no date for his expected return. Since there was no time frame for the owner's return we told them we would dispute the charge and did so with our credit card company. They did not respond in time and the charge was reversed. They then disputed the reversal because there was a design fee and measuring fee. They sent in their documents which showed handwritten fee conditions on the credit card card receipt that was not on our receipt. CFO then charged the credit card. They had kept the the credit card number, expiration date and secret code, without permission. We have decided to pursue civil and legal actions against them as well as contacting the credit card company that the charge was not authorized. This is not acceptable business practice and appears to be illegal in the state of Florida. read more

We were recommended this place from a friend. They helped us to design our kitchen to get the most useful yet esthetically pleasing design. We had gone to 3 different places before this place and they each had a different design. We felt like they really put a lot of thought into designing our kitchen. When the cabinet order came in and they were installed in my kitchen I was so impressed! It looked even better than I could have imagined! The cabinets we went with were solid and heavy duty & just so well made, incredible quality. The design was perfect! We chose to go with marble counter tops which normally I wouldn't have but granite could not do these cabinets Justice they were just so beautiful. We replaced two cabinets in a master bath. The process took several weeks and we endured numerous communication breakdowns and other issues. The first man who was to come and install the cabinets did not know the cabinets were already at our house. He also told us the handles we ordered were not in and we should go to Home Depot and buy some. They did come in the next day. This man, on his third call to us, said his tools were in his daughters car and he could not come until the afternoon. We told the cabinet factory people to send someone else because the first guy was not getting in our house. The men who came to install the cabinets were in a big hurry and did a lot of damage to our drywall removing the old back splashes. That repair cost us $300. This man was also to haul away the old cabinets, but said he did not know that. Fortunately I have a pickup and they loaded the debris and I delivered it to cabinet factory outlet for them to dispose of. Also, there were not enough long screws to attach the handles and the installer suggested I go to Home Depot and purchase some. I went back to Cabinet Factory Outlet and got the screws from them. We then had to wait for someone to call and schedule the template for the counter tops. This did not happen until I went back to Cabinet Factory Outlet and spoke with the manager. After paying for the counter tops, the manager later informed me that they had overcharged me because the tops were on sale. The next issue was that the company that makes the tops had changed the pricing of our material from half slab to full slab. This got resolved, but had it not, we would have had to pay almost double for the tops we ordered. The next problem was again with the tops due to the fact that Cabinet Factory Outlet did not account for material for the back splashes. This required more money and the Cabinet Factory Outlet split the cost of the error with me. Bottom line is Cabinet Factory Outlet is simply a general contractor. They make nothing and they do not supervise the men who come to do the work. My advice to anyone is to be your own general contractor or hire a general contractor who will oversee the project. Find someone to make your cabinets, install them and make your counter tops. There is no need to use Cabinet Factory Outlet. read more

The cabinets are fine, except for an issue noted below. But the installer, Roy St. Vincent, was mediocre at best. 2 floating shelves on either side of the sink were off by 1/2" in height, the back panel of island was put in upside down (hubby had to trim so sawed edge would be covered), the right vertical cabinet next to exhaust fan was not vertically level (couldn't get tile design behind stove I wanted because of this), corner cabinet door hangs below actual cabinet, banged so hard on a pipe behind sink that stucco fell off the back porch adjacent wall! Then he was suppose to come back and install a shelf that was ordered wrong (said it would only take 30 minutes) never came back for 3 months, hubby had to do that too. So just DO NOT use him as the installer! BTW Christine took care of the shelve, with a little persuasion, kudos to her anyway read more

Avoid this place at all costs. As Josh mentions, get the details in writing as they love to give your broad invoices of just general "cabinets" or "sink base" and then we receive everything with wrong heights and colors and they immediately claim it is not their fault. Use AMEX so you can get your money back, even though they will immediately say that their "corporate Lawyer", Esposito, who has a pretty limited and sad career out of Palm Coast will try to intimidate you. The customer is always wrong here, and don't ask questions or we will get litigious, and then they'll send you emails of lawsuits, etc..Fortunately you eventually get to talk to Tom Marino the owner of this and the Floor Factory and he is reasonable, but out of touch with his staff. read more

Really love the cabinets. Problem with the cabinet over the fridge no finished bottom and you can see the shim frame around the cabinet. The planet granite guy is great. He does exactly what he says he will do and will return to adjust whatever needs to be done. Now for the installation guy who retired from building custom homes from up north, I would not hire him to build a dog house. I figured he works as a subcontractor for the cabinet place so he is familiar with the product and would be the best bet to install. He put Holes in the bottom of my kitchen cabinet for the drain which was large enough for an armadillo to crawl through and so off that we had to to redo the holes and refit/glue the slubs he left from his original mess. He had to return to put a missing cabinet in and to install handles. I ordered a rollin that was missing and a shelf. He had the nerve to charge me $125 additional even though he had to return to finish the original order. Left a mess wood shavings all over the place. Get your own installer if they give you Roy the master builder beware read more

Beware- nothing but misinformation and "bait and switch". I went into the outlet to obtain a estimate and design plan. I was given a great price and design plan so I wrote a check for what I thought was the total amount. A couple of weeks later I was called to inform me that the peninsula (which I ordered in a different color) was mistakenly not included in the previous price so if I wanted the cabinets, I would need to write another check for $2000. When I received the cabinets, there were some things missing. When I inquired about this, they told me there had been a "design change"(which they did not tell me about). Like that isn't enough, I ordered countertops and again wrote a check for the materials for 15 sq ft. Then the countertop folks called to tell me that those measurements were inaccurate and it was actually 24 s.f. so I owned even more $. All this confusion and misinformation came from someone who said he had "more than 20 years experience in the industry ". Beware, beware!!! read more

Please read their reviews before you make a decision. I waited on writing this because I wanted to be factual vs. emotional. We hired them in July 2018. My last correspondence with them was 1/2019. Our cabinets were not complete until late Nov. 2018. They do not know their manufacturers well. We purchased 2 different types of cabinets along with quartz counter tops. Outside of the kitchen - the 3 bathroom cabinet drawers are short and shallow. One cabinet drawer is 5" from the back of the cabinet and the sides of the drawers are only 3" ! - just cheap and substandard for a custom cabinet design. They also don't know their manufacturers. We ordered all slow close hinges and one manufacturer doesn't even do them. They did provide us hinges but not enough. We found the last hinge 2 weeks ago and finally finished ourselves. Some of our cabinets were ordered wrong and had to be reordered. You will PAY FOR ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING. We asked to change the color on a cabinet they ordered wrong and because it was ordered wrong they split the cost with us - which was still expensive. You will not get a breakdown and they are not economical. We were told that if we paid quite a bit upfront we would get our handles at no cost. When we went to order the handles we were told that it was limited to a specific brand/type. We were not told this but they did honor what the original sales person said. We were also told that with the Cambria quartz top we would get a free 'hot plate' to match - which is simple a stationary lazy susan for the the top of the counter. That promotion ended in 1/2018 - we found that out after also. No - we did not get it. It took 4 mos. to finish - 2 more mos for knobs and hinges - and we were just worn out by the time we found we didn't have enough. Yes, the cabinets are beautiful to look at - especially the kitchen. The counter top is beautiful ... but the emotional stress and the quality and the conflicting information was just too much. I'm pretty sure we would have been able to get beautiful cabinets and counters with anyone. Maybe they are better on smaller projects. If you go with them - have the xanax ready. read more

I would like to begin by saying the products received were beautiful and installed by very good and professional people. The sales person (Toni) was also very professional and helpful when I was trying to make decisions. I would also like to thank Charles from the corporate office that tried to assist. One of my issues is that I feel that I spent approximately $1902.00 more than I needed to due to poor communication. The communication from this particular office in Saint Augustine was beyond poor.. Never during the process did a call come from them to see how the job was going. I made that statement to Brandy, the manager, and was told they talked to me many times. That was because I called. You give a great deal of money up front for the materials and after that you are pretty much forgotten and left to deal with the contractors that do their work. 1. I was quoted a price of $842.00 to install my quartz. It was always known that I would need 2 slabs but the install was $1516. That was explained away by saying it was an estimate until the template was done. 2. I had to buy additional cabinets for $524.00. My over the refrigerator cabinets because of the size needed a partition installed to properly hang them. I did not see this in the schematic and no one verbally pointed it out. Hated the look so I had to reorder the smaller cabinets. Also from the schematic I did not pick up that a smaller size cabinet was ordered to replace a wider cabinet. When the measurement was taken at the house to verify I am not sure why he did not question what was going to be done with the additional wall space since he saw the existing cabinetry. It cost $195.00 for the second install--I was told it was going to be $150.00. 3. A minor detail of about $500.00 Could have been avoided if I had been told prices were going up due to tariffs on June 1. I was going out of town but had I been told I would have put my deposit down. 4. You are never given an itemized list of what you are purchasing. 5. It took 5 weeks for completion. Cabinets were installed on July 11 and my quartz was not installed until August 13. The cabinets were a one day job --since they are the professionals they could have assisted in a better timeline of installation. 6. I was asked at the reorder of cabinets what would make me not feel so frustrated and unhappy. I had thought I had purchased more pull out drawers than were delivered so I was told I could get 2 for free. Paid $5,100 for a desk with a cabinet designed too small to hold my computer tower (CPU) so now it is at my feet under the desk where space is already limited. The file cabinet drawers are hard to shut, the granite guys chipped my desk surface putting in a grommet hole for wires so they need to polish or epoxy the chips which will be done next week. The completed desk design has a set of cabinets behind it that look like the twin towers and they want more money for a piece of wood to cover the top. They already charged us an extra $100 to bevel the edges of the desk when we found out that $5,000 only pays for straight edges. And we found out we have a promotional granite (grade 2), nothing special. Nickel and dime you to death and going to end up with nine visits before the desk this completed.
