From start to finish, Yina was everything we needed during a major home renovation--patient, knowledgeable, communicative, and deeply invested in helping us build our dream home. She took the time to explain all the different cabinet brands, materials, and build types, and made what could've been an overwhelming process feel completely manageable. I visited their office twice--first to get high-level information and pricing while I was still doing my research, and a second time to really get hands-on with the cabinetry materials in the showroom. Being able to see and feel the options in person made a huge difference. What stood out most was the seamless communication--Yina was always responsive via email and text, provided super helpful dimensions, and created detailed 3D renderings that brought our vision to life. Century Cabinets not only sources, assembles, and delivers the cabinets, but they also offer contractor installation services if you need it. Since we had our own contractor, it worked out perfectly--we had them handle sourcing, assembly, and delivery. Yina even came to our home to take measurements and met with our contractor and electrical team to make sure everything was aligned. This level of collaboration was invaluable and helped avoid so many potential issues down the line. She walked us through every step, made practical design recommendations, and constantly reassured us through the chaos of renovating. In addition to our kitchen, they also did the cabinetry for our master bathroom. The quality is good, the pricing is fair, and the service is truly above and beyond. Highly recommend Century Cabinets and Yina if you're working on a kitchen, bathroom, or full home project. They've been a key part of helping us build our dream home, and we're so grateful.

Montgomery Kitchen and Bath (MKB) is an absolute gem of a company! We just completed a 20 month…read moremajor renovation to our Alexandria home. During the process we relied upon 25-30 contractors and MKB was without question the best of the best. This was not only the view of my wife and I as the owners; but also our architect, general contractor and onsite supervisor. Specifically, MKB proved to be everything a service company should be - professional, efficient, reasonable and most importantly - honest and trustworthy ... a company that respects its customers and places their interests first. Starting at the top with the president/partner (Keith Hudson) and proceeding through the ranks with CAD designers, installers, admin/logistic support personnel, etc... we found every employee to be exceptionally professional, responsive, polite and knowledgeable. As retired military officers my wife and I also had a keen appreciation for their attention to detail and sense of urgency - traits rarely found these days. Unlike some other contractors, MKB onsite personnel were also extremely sensitive to COVID protocol - adding and extra measure of comfort and safety while in our home. Keith warrants special mention - his vision, imagination and sense of space, color, design, etc... transformed an old, tired and very dated kitchen into an absolute jewel of a family space and gathering area - both aesthetically and functionally. He also transformed three bathrooms into different "themed" private spaces (retro, spa and traditional in appearance) ... all three baths completely unrecognizable vestiges of their former selves. Keith's insights into what would work and what wouldn't work constantly amazed us - leaving my wife and I continually asking ourselves "Now, why didn't I/we didn't think of that?" We also appreciated Keith not trying to "upsell" us - focusing on what was needed versus what we wanted. Just as importantly he stands behind his work. When nine cabinet doors were delivered that didn't match his standard of excellence (slight mismatch in color), Keith arranged to have them replaced at no cost. It is obvious that Keith takes pride in his work and company - and has instilled an easily recognizable "esprit de corps" within his employees. They approach their work not so much as a job... but more as a profession... a refreshing change from the norm which makes a huge difference in the end result/product. If wondering where to begin with kitchen or bath renovations, MKB is a great place to start. One will be hard pressed to find others in the field with a similar standard of excellence, work ethic or sense of service to their clients.

They were patient, listened carefully to what we wanted, and offered excellent solutions. During the remodel phase, Ky and Magda worked closely with us to address the inevitable issues that arise in any renovation. For example, when the quartz tabletop we selected became unavailable, Ky proposed an alternative that we ended up liking even more than the original. We were initially told the project would take 4 to 6 weeks, but it ultimately took about 10 weeks, partly due to the permitting process. In retrospect, this was a manageable downside, but it's something to plan for. It's also important to stay vigilant during construction--we caught a few errors, but once we notified Ky, each issue was resolved promptly. Overall, we felt the estimate for the job was fair.

We loved working with Kitchen Master Design & Remodeling and are quick to recommend them to anyone…read morewho is looking for work done on their homes. We remodeled our kitchen, powder room and bathroom. Near the end of the project, we had an issue in our basement (unrelated to the remodel, a wall came down when we put up our own shelving) and they were able to come in quickly to completely reno the basement as well. Some of the highlights of working with Kitchen Master: - 5 year warranty. Enough said. - Great personal service: Na was super responsive, and helped us make decisions on finishes within my budget (even coming to the house with countertop, flooring, and cabinet samples based on a general idea of our style). I'm pretty indecisive so I have to give Na a lot of credit for putting up with my text messages that said things like: "Would this paint color look weird with the tiles I selected?" Or "idk, what do you think we should do with this space?" Her suggestions were definitely better than what I could come up with on my own. - Budget: Na and Sway really worked with us on our budget. We were able to get quality where it counted with no upsells, and spend less in areas that either weren't as important to us, or where the price is less of an indicator of quality. This was really important to me because I don't have the time, patience, or expertise to price shop for materials on my own. -Creativity: I had two contractors tell me they likely would not have the space to turn my powder room into a bathroom with a shower. When Na and Sway came over for the estimate, they very quickly identified that they could move the toilet and sink to another spot and knock out the pantry to make it happen. It looks amazing, and feels more spacious than before strangely enough. We also wanted to knock out part of our kitchen wall, but their were vents in the way making it impossible. They quickly came up with a solution to MOVE THE VENTS (!) at a lower cost than expected. - Professionalism and Quality: The end project was incredible and it feels like a different home. Na and Sway feel like family and I will definitely use them again.

They were also the only ones that would redo the lighting in our place without dropping the ceiling. They also have a five-year warranty, which gives us peace of mind with such an expensive and major redesign. We had new solid wood floors installed, complete remodel for the kitchen with new cabinets, sink, island, and quartz wall tiles, added new appliances and they were able to add conveniences such as a pantry and more functional cabinet spaces. They also updated our lighting and electrical switches. Na and Sway were generally good at responding within a day or so of reaching out. There were a few times when we had communication issues, such as what was written in the contract, but we were able to resolve them quickly. I also commend them for helping with getting our Sub-Zero/Wolf appliances through the door even though they were not responsible for that and helping fix damages done by the ABW appliances delivery team. We would recommend them again, the kitchen cabinets, fixtures and lighting are very well done. Our condo is small so their ability to help turn the kitchen into a space a master chef would be proud of and is more functional and better floor plan is much appreciated. The finished kitchen has a wow factor for everyone who has seen it and could be in a design magazine. We intend to use them again for our bathroom remodeling jobs in the future.
