Being a comic fan I was ecstatic that there was a comic store in one of the cities we spent time in. I ended up purchasing two books, one for my nephew and one for my niece. I can't wait to give them their books because they are super cute. CAB Comics is full of awesome comics, some nerdy shirts and everything you could want in a comic/tabletop hobby store. If I'm ever in Flagstaff again I can definitely see myself coming back. read more

Stopped in today and loved the store. Huge selection and great customer service. I highly recommend.

My favorite place to catch up on the latest read! Great vintage comics aswell! The staff is helpful and they work hard to celebrate the culture of comic reading, board gaming, and card gaming read more

Its small and oh so packed with so many different comic books, I haven't heard of before! Pretty cool to be in the middle of so much awesomeness! read more

yeah yeah! CAB COMICS! I started out just buying comics but then I moved into table top games! Cory knows the products he sells... cause... he sold me on a few! then a few months later... I was introduced to Magic the Gathering... haha, it's an awesome/addiction! I met some pretty cool people at the weekly Friday Night Magic events. And they're pretty involved with the scene. pretty accepting of everyone and their unique quirks. not as HARDCORE/intense as the geekery crowd. haha, Cab is just cool and nerdy peoples. i dig. read more

Man had personality of a cotton ball. No service and no game history, couldn't answer questions tho they hold game nights in store. It was like we were a bother and we spent $100 yet I wish we didn't only die to lack of caring from man working read more

When I went in I was immediately greeted and folded that if we had questions to ask. And when I did ask questions they answered them nicely. The store is at a very good price compared to other stores I've been to and was a overall great time. read more

Cab comics is a fantastic place to hang out, play games, and keep up on the latest comics. Hell, it's the only real comic book store in Flagstaff, doesn't get much better than that. With an extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff it's by far the best place to go if you're already into comics or table-top games and is even better if you're new to it all and looking for a place to start. Every Saturday a group of my friends and I go there to play Heroclix and hang out talking nerd-banter and I love it. Highly recommend checking this place out if you haven't already. Finally, a nerd-haven in Flagstaff. read more

After a slightly disappointing visit to The Geekery across the street, a quick yelp check and phone call got me to CAB Comics. It was very important that the shop had comics for kids (ages 5-12) because I had the kids who were on the last leg of our roadtrip, and they needed a distraction. They did, and the kids and hubby were able to find a few things they were looking for. Nice shop. Pretty good selection of comics up on the wall, although not a huge section of back issues (and for some reason, LOTS and LOTS of Spiderman back issues!). Talked with the owner about Comic-Con, and found a fellow geekster. Recommend this shop. read more

Flagstaff FINALLY got what it needed! After being spoiled by a comic-filled childhood in Tempe, my fears quickly became reality when I moved to Flagstaff three years ago without a comic shop in sight. Luckily, Cab Comics opened its doors, and I felt that same vibe once again! Cab Comics reminds me of all the best parts of Atomic Comics (Amazing service, people always hanging out, game nights) without the worst parts of "other" comic shops around the Valley (rude employees, cramped store, smell...). I mostly go to play Magic and buy my weekly comics, so I'll focus more on those areas. The weekly Magic tournaments are fun, fairly laid-back, but still competitive. Cab's selection of singles across all formats is phenomenal in both price and variety. I really can't stress any more about how awesome this place is for Magic. It might not be the "Pro oasis" like Pop Culture Paradise down in the Valley, but that's not really what Flagstaff is about, is it? As for buying comics, every week I get an email notifying me that there are new comics in my box. You can set up your pull list in-store or online, the owner pulls them out, slaps them on the counter, and you walk away with what you need. The key to selling comics is to have them in the first place, and Cab has never disappointed me when I've already reserved something. It's a fantastic place. Five stars all the way. read more

Great selection and the nicest staff I've talked to at a comic place. Lots of pop figures and nische comics. I didn't get her name but the woman with round glasses really knew her stuff, and was a blast to talk to. 10/10 would come again if I wasn't from Chicago. read more

Well, we walked in and they never addressed us. The only time they talked to us is when I asked to use their Wi-Fi while my husband shopped. It must be a good place though because he spent an hour here and found lots of books that he was looking for. From husband: Large selection of trade paperbacks, the latest in monthlies but most of the floorspace was devoted to games. Today, I'll back issues were 20% off. I guess that's a black Friday deal. Also I have one of their punchcards with $125 worth on it, if you are local to Flagstaff, and you'd like it, send me a message and I'll mail it to you. Seriously! read more

I like to stop in stores when I travel, just to check them out. It's usually hit and miss. This place was nice, tucked in an old strip mall sandwiched between a Mexican and Chinese restaurant with just a small sign that said "Comics" our front. We were greeted with a big smile by the owner when we walked in. There was a group playing D&D in the back. The store itself was a lot of comics, some games, and a few tables in back with white board advertisements for nightly Magic and Yu-Gi-O games. They had the standard wall of new releases, current back issues, and trades, and a good variety of well organized back issues. All in good shape and priced affordably. I picked up a few interesting ones. Overall a good little shop. read more

With a cliquey group of regulars and poor lighting, Cab Comics can look intimidating at first - Indeed, every time I've come here, it feels like the other patrons are scrutinizing my every move. However, all is not lost at Cab Comics! The store features Flagstaff's largest comic book inventory, including a number of local artists (always a nice touch), and a fairly comprehensive D&D and Pathfinder library. Hero Clix is another well-stocked game, and they sell dice as well. If you're looking for comics, D&D products, or Hero Clix, Cab Comics is the place to come, but it's not really a great place to socialize unless you're already a member of the inner circle of regulars. "Buy what you need and clear off" seems to be the way to go. read more

Flagstaff has needed a store like Cab Comics for a long time. With a great selection, and courteous, knowledgeable staff, it has quickly become the cornerstone of pop culture collectibles in Northern Arizona. You can always find the hottest comics, games, and supplies at great prices. Speaking from experience, even if you don't see what you are looking for, Cab Comics will go out of their way to get it for you , and quickly. Need to special order something? No problem. Need help finding an obscure cover for an even more obscure title? They'll find it for you. Even if you just want to hang out and talk comics, gaming or anything else, Cab Comics is always welcoming. If you need to buy, sell or just talk comics, Cab Comics is the place for you. Highly recommended! read more

Great store. Friendly shop owner who knows a lot about comics. Great selection of magic cards, comic books and heroclix. Great to play any game at including D&D! I love this store. read more

Cab Comics is exactly what a comic shop should be. It's an establishment made for, and owned by people who truly love comics. They have made a real effort towards building a community within the store. It is very common to see people hanging out in the store playing games or just having a chat. Their game night on Fridays seem to be a huge success. I get about 20 titles per month, and they are very good at getting me all the titles that I want to check out. If they don't carry it in the store they will order it. Recently I had to go to Kentucky for 2 months for work and they actually shipped my comics out to me!(Now THAT is service!) I highly recommend Cab Comics. read more

Pretty unorganized and zero customer service. I walked in on a Saturday afternoon, the worker behind the counter ignored me the entire time I was in the store. There was a heroclix tournament going on in the back of the store, but I was the only customer in the front comic section. New books were disheveled, and recent back issues on the opposite wall were a mess and completely unorganized. Disappointing! read more

It's good to see comic stores around still. Had to drive an hour to get here, but totally worth it. Found almost everything I was looking for. They were friendly and helpful. Gave me protectors for each comic I bought, thought that was cool. Wish I lived closer so I could give them more business, but I know where to go for all my geek needs lol. read more

Not a day goes by that I don't miss this place. Really good selection of stuff and the staff has always been super friendly and helpful! Good space for gaming if you're looking to meet up for Friday night MTG! Hit them up for dice, for comics, for cards, board games, or for Funko Pops! read more

Stumbled upon this store as I was driving through town. I wasn't sure what to expect. The store itself is a fair size but strangely only half the store has comics and a very small section of graphic novels in the middle. The entire back half of the store seemed to be for playing games. I was hoping for more of a selection than what was there. read more

Once I ordered a board game here, and paid almost twice the price of what I would have just getting it off Amazon. So some words of advice: check the interwebs before purchasing one of the table-top games (probably good advice for any of these kinds of stores). But I've been here a few times now; on the quiet days the atmosphere is comfortable and they have a great selection in comics! It's easy to get lost browsing, and it's one of our best shops in Flag to scratch that geeky itch. I know they also run a few tournaments which can get big. But if you're not there to compete/spectate, I'd suggest skipping the store for that day. The air can go the opposite way of fragrant pretty fast, and suddenly you're choking on BO and testosterone! read more

Small shop. Cheap $1 and 50 cent back issues. Not much in current titles. Good selection of small press titles.

Very small store, but a good place for smash tournaments and it's nice to look at the comics in the back too! They have really cute pins and keychains that are at the front of the store, lots of merchandise for different geeks all over the place! The yoohoo milk there was okay, seemed kinda weird tasting. The service seems to ignore you sometimes, but eh. They're nice, just catch their attention. Like this place to hang! read more

This is a great place to get comics, but that is about it. The sad truth is that they try (and fail) at everything related to magic. They are lucky to get 8 people out for their friday night magic events. Simply put, DO NOT play magic here unless you want to get disappointed. There are better places to play magic. read more

Really good selection of comics and games. Great and helpful staff. Sadly, they're rather lacking in Yugioh packs, structures and singles. Still a great store, and their Yugioh locals are usually great. read more

Awesome place with even awesome people!! I was here recently for an event called the Rickmobile and the workers were out and about greeting and handing out water!! Not all heroes wear capes! and there nothing better than having a hero right by you when you're you're reading your favorite comic book! read more

Ok store. Good selection of current comics and graphic novels. Somewhat lacking in back issues. Good selection for gamers.

Great selection of comics and tabletop style game but a rude owner, disrespectful employees and a crowd of loud and annoying regulars.

The owner is awesome. Comics and a lot of board games. If you are into playing Magic, Pokemon, or any board games and need to meet some new people in town, come here. The best comic shop in Flag, easily. read more

Cab Comics was an awesome stop on my way through Flagstaff Az. The employee working was a great help on my purchase. I recommend stopping in if you're driving through the area. read more
