Pros: - Agent got me the rate that I was quoted for through an online calculator (rates.ca). - Agent had all of the auto insurance documents filled out and signed within an hour so it was a relatively quick experience. - Agent explained in detail all of the optional coverages and how they would affect my rate. Cons: - Unprofessional language through email (very poor grammar, slang, etc.). - Brokerage phones were down in the afternoon after we had signed the documents, which meant I was unable to call them to provide payment until the next week. This left me with an uneasy feeling that something was not right; usually a company will make it their top priority to collect payment. - Unable to pay though the SCOOP online client portal. I feel like this is something that should be standard in 2023, rather than providing your information over the phone.

That's extortion and also not very good customer relations; not to mention terrible business strategy that loses out on LTV ( life time customer value) and lost referrals and continued revenue. I was more than willing to pay the dimly late payment or even 2 of them but to extort me for 1k+ is ridiculous So I emailed them AGAIN ans told them to cancel. Still no emails back

My husband (retired contractor) attended the roof area and performed a repair to mitigate further water entry but with heavy rains, water continued to stream in. It was not our intention to claim this through insurance but when my husband became critically ill recently he is now unable to address repairs so we filed an insurance claim. They sent their roofer who did another repair which did not stop the water..it leaked again. His report stated it was shoddy workmanship but also an area prone to ice damage. They declined the claim. It must be noted that with a $1000 deductible (we were not made aware of) this claim would not have amounted to a lot of dollars. At the end of all this, our greatest disappointment is this company's lack of compassion, lack of willingness to work with a long term clients and stern focus on the money aspect.
