So I contacted Rusty and traded a few pics of the space, along with a rough sketch of what I wanted the shelves to look like. He called me a little later and mentioned that he was finishing up a big job for a well-known NFL player who used to play at Cal. "Damn," I thought to myself, "I probably can't afford this guy..." Nevertheless, 2 weeks later he came by to install everything. All I can say is that my bar looks fantastic, the quality of the work is unreal, and the bill was more than reasonable. Our house is about 120 years old, so there's always something that needs fixing or replacing. So far they've helped us with replacing lights, exhaust fans, door handles, and locks. When we found the fence at the back of our yard was rotting away, and the dog was looking to explore our neighbors' yards, Meticulous tore down and replaced the fence in a day, so the dog couldn't go exploring at night. They're our go-to service. Costs are fair and explained clearly at the start. No surprises. And everyone who's worked in our house has been friendly and professional!

I had gotten several estimates/quotes from other plumbing companies who all told me I'd need to replace the ENTIRE thing. I called on The Meticulous Handyman and one of his team members came out and reattached the sink to the counter saving me probably hundreds of dollars. Apparently this is a common problem! He was also friendly, very meticulous and just did a great job (no problems since then). I would recommend this business to anyone!

In one case, this meant covering an office closet with a bookshelf and enlarging the MBR closet, which sat behind the office. We also wanted a hutch built in to match the look of our dining room. Altogether about four projects. Obie uses software to design and spec his jobs. It gave us confidence in the final look and feel and gave him confidence in his bid. He communicated frequently and well. We had been introduced by a mutual friend who runs a painting business, so he handled the painting, which was a big job. We would not hesitate to give Obie a call again.

His estimate was 10% higher than I was budgeting for, but his level of communication and email response time was awesome and I liked his demeanor and professionalism more than the other builders that I got quotes from- so that sealed the deal. Obie built everything faster than expected with no compromise to quality. Our house was built in 1915 and many of the walls aren't plumb which makes installing builtins a bit tricky. Obie worked tirelessly on the install and came back an additional day to make sure it was done right. Very happy with how it all turned out!

To be honest, I wasn't looking forward to having a mess in my house for that amount of time. But his aesthetic ideas and his professionalism made us decide to hire him. I have to tell you: after seeing how they work and everything they did, I wouldn't trust anyone that says it can be done in a couple weeks. There's just no way!! Just tiling took one week! But you have to see how perfect those tiles are! Not also did they finish the job on schedule, they also cleaned after themselves every single evening. All his crew was here on time every morning, worked quietly and politely and left leaving everything tidy. You know how sometimes you see the contractor you hired the first day and he never shows up again? Not Piotr. He was here checking in almost every day and he was very accessible when I had questions or we needed to go over finishes or details. It's like having a contractor and an interior designer together! We couldn't be happier with the end result. The 5 weeks went very fast and we have peace of mind knowing that the internal parts of our bathroom are as beautiful and well done as the exterior. We've already told Piotr that we'll be hiring him again for the guests bathroom. If you want to beautify your space by doing it right, under codes and timely, Piotr is your guy!
