We had CA Resurfacing out to resurface a double garage for a rental home in Rancho Palos Verdes. I used them because they did my brother's garage last year and it is beautiful! My garage floor did have vinyl tiles but they kept lifting. They removed all the tiles and by 3 pm they were done. I couldn't be happier. The floor is spectacular. The crew was very nice. Over the years my concrete garage floor had suffered damage from efflorescence, and when I decided to sell my home I realized I needed to restore it. A sparkling epoxy-based flooring system would turn the garage around from a liability to an asset. I talked to/texted with 4 or 5 contractors and chose CA Resurfacing. They did not disappoint. I met with the company's owner John Alves when he came out to inspect the floor and finalize his bid. CA Resurfacing is a decent-sized small business located in Orange County. John committed to starting the job within a week, and finishing it within 3 days. He had a team out early Monday morning. They repaired the efflorescence damage, laid down a liquid vapor barrier, put down an epoxy-based mid-coat, saturated the mid-coat with a heavy sprinkling of the black, grey, and white paint chips we picked out, and finished with the top coat. After 3 years of talking about getting this done , we finally did it! Super amazing. I def. recommend CA resurfacing to anyone needing a face lift in their garage. Chris was really helpful texting photos and giving advice. We went with the tuxedo which is also called charcoal. They don't tell you on the sample pics that it's the same color but it really is. Charcoal is identical to tuxedo! We couldn't decide between "Morning fog" & "Charcoal" and so glad we chose the charcoal. I also loved the Indigo and graphite is pretty cool too. Indigo isn't available for viewing on samples so ask them. I asked and he texted me a sample of it installed and it looked nice too! Has a hint of light blue, looks nice installed. I would have chosen the indigo or graphite as 2nd choice. " Morning Fog" is nice but it's too gray for my taste and so glad I saw a photo of it done rather than sample pic. Our 1st pick was originally Morning Fog, but so glad I saw it installed as mentioned.. too gray, but some may like that "look". I know of 3 other friends who had their floors done too by them and they all have been happy with their results! It took them 4-5 hours and they were respectful & even helped me move fridge outside. I was initially skeptical about getting epoxy because my parents had "epoxy" at their house and it did not look good. Only complaint is the color Cloud picture provided looked more a greyish-white overtone with a blue hue. I ended up with a white overtone with a blue hue that look noticeably brighter than comparison. Quality of the epoxy will update overtime, but my family's epoxy has already become a yellowish stain.
