In making the decision to purchase a horse for our daughter and myself, we were recommended Socotur by friends who also purchased a horse from him a few years ago. We explained what we needed and he not only sold us a great horse for my daughter, but helped me find one that was more my speed! LOL! Being new to this experience, he encouraged us to go get the horses checked out by a Vet of our choice which helped us understand the limits of my horse... which was great because I did NOT want a rodeo horse! Thank you Socotur and team for making this a great experience and we look forward to connecting if we need anything in the future

I had a hard time finding out where to start my quest to let people know about this business and it…read moreowner Raymond Cannady so I thought I would start here. I purchased a horse from Raymond Cannady who claims to be the a trainer and sells horses in July 2023 - immediately after I purchased my horse, everyone noticed that she was not walking right and called her lame. When I purchased her Mr. Cannady said if I ever have any issues with her to let him know and he will take her back and I trusted this man who claimed to be so experienced in horse training and selling horses. I trusted this man that he was selling me a great horse - only to find out he was deceitful about her and her health. My trainer examined my horse and told me that she was sure there some issues with him and I contacted Mr. Cannady to come look at the horse with my trainer to go over what she thought was wrong with her - I am not as experienced to know what was wrong and be able to identify the things they saw - he agreed and after two plus weeks of trying to get him to the stables, he did agree that she had some minor issues but claimed it must have happened after I took possession of her. I emailed him and told him that I wanted him to take her back as I am not knowledgeable enough to keep a horse that might have some issues where she may not be able to be ridden nor did I want the expense of her if I cannot ride her. His response to me was the most foul and disrespectful email I have ever received from anyone - he said it was all my fault and that she was fine when I bought her, even though I had her approx 2 months at that point. So, in order to make sure I was accurate in my trainers observation, we took her to a vet for a full exam and X-rays so I could know what was wrong with her. As soon as we got the vet's office, he immediately recognized her and said he has had her in his clinic before - he pulled her records for us to see less that one week prior to me purchasing her, she was in the same clinic, xrays and a full exam was done - she was found to have a lot of damage to her front left leg and the xrays and report were not good - he gave her a 4 out of 10 soundness which isn't the worst but definitely not what I wanted in a horse and not for the price I paid for her the point of my review is to let people know the type of horse seller he is, so no-one has to go through what I have gone through with him and with the sweet horse - Do your research and get any horse you plan on buying from him checked out thoroughly before you buy - not fair to the buyer or the horse.

My daughter is thirteen and has been attending OAM Studios for the better part of eight years,…read moresince she was five. Before her very first trial class, I was afraid she would have trouble focusing and following directions. (Let's just say that in dance class she had mostly made faces at herself in the mirror or freestyled it unless I expended 200% of my energy making her practice her routines at home.) She went into her first art class wanting to draw a peacock chasing a cat, with no idea how. After an hour, her teacher had modeled a drawing for her, and she had paid attention beautifully, following his directions carefully. The teachers who work there have, from what I understand, been trained to teach art by building skills in sequential stages, helping students accomplish one skill and one project before moving on to the next. I believe this works well for all types of kids, not only for self-guided, serious kids, but especially for the playful ones, who need direction for their ideas. The staff knows how to be serious, but they are also wonderful at relating to some of my daughter's interests and talking to her in ways that I can't. She takes both pottery and the regular two-hour art lessons. Miss Molly and Miss Anissa are her teachers now, and she truly values their instruction and her time with them. OAM Studios continues to teach my daughter the importance of patience, perseverance, and attention to detail, values not only important to artistic growth but also in life. It takes a village to raise a kid, and OAM Studios has been a valuable part of our village.

They claim to welcome feedback, but they ended our membership solely because of my feedback on Yelp. To make matters worse, the owner (Jenna) and the front office manager (I can't recall her name) gave conflicting answers when we inquired about questions after a competition team invitation from a pre-team athlete. This is not the kind of service I would expect from a gym that charges over $200 per month. They didn't even seem concerned about my child or our families' experience. I was told it was my responsibility to personally reach out to Jenna, but that's not how it works. Thanks, but no thanks.

Easiest way to put it. But this park has a lot of grassy area, a back stop with fence to hit baseball/softballs, a mini tennis court, and horse shoe toss thing. What I love about this park is the non bark/sandy area! So easy to take my 1 to and she can't put anything in her mouth because the ground is made of that rubber bouncy material. There's a toddler play area, and then a bigger kids one. Clean tables, with plenty of trash cans. There are no bathrooms the only negative. Unfortunately, the customer service was incredibly rude and unprofessional. Weeks in advance, I emailed management to book a spot for our large group. I was explicitly told via email that they don't take appointments and that it was first-come, first-served. Yet, when we arrived in the morning, the front desk staff was highly reluctant to let us in. They claimed a birthday party was starting around noon and told us we could only stay for 1.5 hours--even though I was paying full price for All-Day passes. When the staff member claimed this rule was clearly stated on their website, I asked her to show me. She couldn't find it. Instead, she dug up an outdated physical document that mentioned a 90-minute limit, but it listed a $25 price point rather than the current $30 rate posted online. It was obvious she was using old, irrelevant policy documents just to justify kicking us out early. Great facility, but the staff's dishonesty and poor attitude ruined what should have been a seamless celebration.
