We wish we had him for our first inspection when we were buying the house. His price was very reasonable; especially after getting some outrageously expensive quotes and some questionably low "11 month quotes" from other inspectors only to find out that they don't have to abide by the same new home purchase inspection standards set by the TREC. We were given a long report with pictures and recommendations which we submitted to our builder for warranty repair. Paul cut no corners and we plan on referring him to our neighbors who needs the first inspection and/or their 11 month.

We had our inspection done with Mike Tower from GreenWork, and we were very satisfied with the…read moreservice Mike provided. From start to finish, Mike went above and beyond for our family. Mike began by carefully listening to all our concerns -- from systemic roof leaks and water intrusion to workmanship issues -- and made sure he understood the full picture before starting. During the inspection, he was incredibly meticulous, documenting every defect both big and small with detailed photos and clear notes. He even helped us find out the potential root cause for some of the more difficult issues we had been having with the house i.e. the sporadic roof leaks. What stood out most was his deep expertise. With over 20 years in the trade, Mike knows construction process inside and out, and what builders should or shouldn't do as best practices. He also has specialized experience in mold remediation and plumbing issues, which gave us confidence given our past water problems. Mike is an excellent communicator and very patient. He explained how things are supposed to work, advised us on how repairs should be handled, and even warned us of pitfalls to avoid when dealing with builders or contractors. He also shared best practices we never would have thought about, helping us prevent long-term issues. On top of that, Mike was extremely respectful and friendly with the entire family -- even our pets took to him right away. After spending the better part of the day thoroughly inspecting our home, he delivered a comprehensive, well-organized report the very same evening. Thanks to his documentation, we now have a strong record of our concerns to present to the builder. Simply put, Mike sets the standard for what a home inspector should be: professional, knowledgeable, thorough, and personable. We would hand-pick him again without hesitation for any future inspections. Highly recommended.

Our experience with Green Scene Home Inspections was extremely concerning. The company's owner came…read moreto our home after a major appliance listed in their report was called into question. During that visit, he made unprompted remarks about my personal life that had nothing to do with the inspection. When I told him that his behavior felt intimidating, he responded that he had researched me on the "deep dark web." We then asked that our interactions remain strictly professional and limited to inspection-related matters, but he declined to agree to that boundary. The encounter left us feeling unsafe and deeply uncomfortable. We have since filed a formal complaint with the Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) regarding this incident. It is our personal recommendation to stay very far from this company. Homeowners deserve respect, professionalism, and basic privacy when inviting someone into their home.

Even without formally using the service, the level of professionalism and customer care stood out to me. Based on that alone, I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for someone knowledgeable, responsive, and straightforward.

I'm in the process of purchasing a new home and wanted to make sure that, although it's new, everything will be in working order when I close. Jason was a friendly inspector who met me at the home early in the morning so I could have time to get to work. He was ready to go immediately, and when I received my report, he actually found things of concern. He noticed leaking from the AC above my media room that was beginning to damage the ceiling and he noted the dishwasher leaks. He emailed the report and included PLENTY of pictures for me. Although my home was a simple job for him, I appreciate that he gave such a thorough job, and I would be very honest in recommending him to those I know who need an inspector.
