From the very first interaction, the communication was clear, candid, and incredibly helpful. All of my questions were answered thoroughly, follow-up was prompt, and there was zero pressure at any point. I really appreciated the honesty and transparency throughout the process. Even without formally using the service, the level of professionalism and customer care stood out to me. Based on that alone, I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for someone knowledgeable, responsive, and straightforward.

He approached his job as if he was inspecting his very own house. He was extremely hard working and did not ignore even a single detail. This is a newly built house by a very reputable home builder; however, he was successful in pointing out several items that need to be tweaked, so to speak. I will use the analogy of a great spell-checker to describe what he brings to the table. Also, his fee is very reasonable. I can promise you that you will not regret entrusting your home inspection to him!

As a new player to the home buying game of 2019, I was traveling down an unchartered path. A…read morecolleague gave me the name of the home inspector she had used for a recent home purchase, which resulted in my connection with Josh. I called him that day, and he spent time with me on the telephone, answering a barrage of questions for me, and educating me on the path of inspections. Not only did he explain things regarding the buyer's inspection on our new home, but also answered questions from a sellers standpoint on our current home. Graciously, Josh agreed to meet me at our prospective home within 48 hours of our initial phone call. Our agreed meeting time was 9am, and when I arrived at 9:00am he was already there working. To say he is incredibly thorough would be a gross understatement. He spent 6 hours on our inspection, and brought to light things I likely would have never noticed. He left no stone unturned, and was informing me throughout the process of his findings. I left the home feeling confident that we would have a comprehensive report within a few days. That evening, a 35 page document appeared in my inbox, with photos and a detailed explanation. Moving forward in to the closing date of our new home, I am confident that there will be no surprises, and I will recommend Josh to anybody who will listen.

I did some research and this company was very fairly priced and responded very quickly to phone calls. The inspectors name is Satari Shaw and he is incredibly professional, friendly, helpful and great at communicating. Satari was able to come out with just a few days notice and made me feel very at ease during the whole process. He also hired a termite service on my behalf to handle that inspection while he was there. He explained the areas that he had found so far and rated them on importance. He showed me the items that would need to be taken care of quickly and the ones that maybe were a little less major. His report was incredibly detailed with pictures of the items showing what he was noting in the report. Satari's above and beyond customer service came a few weeks after my initial inspection. Satari gave me his cell number to call if I had any problems or questions which was great. I called the day I moved in because my movers were convinced that they found foundation damage. I called Satari immediately and he left his daughters dance recital to come to my home and check out what they were mentioning. Turns out the movers were COMPLETELY wrong but the fact that Satari took time out of his day to put me at ease was incredible. I would highly recommend Another Look Home Inspections to anyone.

DO NOT RECOMMEND. 0 STARS. I regret paying for Chris'…read moreinspection (if you can even call it that), as all it has resulted in is thousands of dollars out-of-pocket and the home warranty company to deny my claims. VERY frustrated with the "service" I received. I was too trusting going into buying my first home and relying on the home inspection report and the inspector to be thorough. He only "visually inspects the operation" (per his contract) and does not actually test the components to make sure they are functioning properly. I relied on his report and then after moving in found out 5 electrical panel breakers were bad and 1 wire had incorrect sizing. He stated on his report they were "no visual issues" and "correct wire size per breaker" - both which were false!! (See photo) This cost me $2,811 in repairs. The second issue I had was with the HVAC not reaching temperature. He told me it was operating as expected and a couple of degrees off was not a big deal and I didn't need to worry about it. I TRUSTED him (big mistake!!) and now I am paying the price (~$16,000) to replace it, as it is indeed a BIG deal to have an HVAC unit that is half the size it should be. Before getting the repairs done, I reached out to him and he told me if there were any issues to "give him a chance to correct it before someone else makes repairs". So I reached out to him about the HVAC gas leak before I had any repairs done and then he responded saying he noted it didn't make temperature and he suggested having service done, but he would not help me try to correct the issue like he previously stated.

We had to scramble after business hours to get a roofing inspector out the next morning so we could have all inspection reports before the end of our option period. It caused us a lot of stress and frustration. I reached out to CKA Home Inspections after the fact and they just stopped replying to my emails. Very unprofessional. If they had communicated before the inspection or even once they got to the property that they were unable to inspect the roof, then we would have had more time to get someone out to inspect the roof. TERRIBLE SERVICE! Very disappointed especially with their lack of accountability and ghosting us after the fact.
