I love stopping here on the way to Kirkwood!! They have great breakfast burritos (I've tried bacon and sausage, both are good but I prefer the bacon), with a variety of sauces and other breakfast foods. Perfect to grab on the way to the mountain and good value too. There is only 1 public bathroom however, so sometimes there's a wait for this. I was greeted with a cheerful "hello" when I walked through the door, which was a refreshing change to what I usually experience at gas stations. My daughter and I get most of our gas from Chevron and are satisfied customers always -- BUT-- Store 3038 14000 E Hwy 88 in Lockford CA deserves special praise because of employees Andrea and Brandee who were so genuinely welcoming and friendly, with the biggest most beautiful smiles, they made our trip so much nicer, a lovely highlight, they are a credit to Chevron and humankind!!!! read more

When traveling from Amador county to the Bay Area I love The Tower Food Mart, this is my chosen pit stop. It's easy to pull off the highway, fill up with gas and goodies. Did I mention they are open 24/7 365 days a year? There are so many things needed for a gas station to be a good place to stop and this one has all of them. First, the fuel prices are always lower than other gas stations. The pumps work quickly and accept payment at the pump. Plus, when I fuel myself up there's always the stuff I love. Just now I got a bottled water to find it so cold and perfect to quench my thirst. This Tower store is very clean and well kept. The staff is always polite and helpful. I know that working long hours at a gas station is very tiring and sometimes dangerous work. However, when I've dealt with the cashiers at this store I've always felt like I was dealing with a human that was listening and caring. I believe this is a sign of good management or caring owners. I recommend this Tower Food Mart for a variety of snacks and cold beverages. Every time I purchase water or drinks they are super cold. I've never pulled out a warm drink at this food mart. The reason I final wrote a review this time is I pulled up and there was water and window cleaners to clean my bugged out windshield. Next, the parking lot was clean and well lit, I went inside and my drink was super cold and really hit the spot. The restrooms were clean and everything was working. When I left the cashier was kind and pleasant. Needless to say, I thought to myself what a great place. I've never been let down once stopping here. This is a great business that has won me over and has my loyalty. read more

i really liked the experiment there all the lady's were really nice there especially that lady named Alyssa i think i extra tipped her. the boys that were working there were not really working they were just standing there and so nothing and that's so in professional. the manager was also really rude there so either y'all need to get a new manager or fix the situation and get better boy workers. read more

I'm 40+ year native of Lockeford. Raised here and now raising my children here. So I've been here through many changes of this gas station. It's always been my home station never had issues always a pleasure very friendly and clean. A thanks to those hard working employee's that I don't see anymore. Now I'm sorry my pleasurable experiences are no longer. I don't let my kids go there because never know if it would be that wrong time. Riff raff... robberies...etc. Just not safe. They have obviously hired management who doesn't care how the store is ran and who does not screen employees well, because I had the most offensive cashier (Karen) that was so rude! Made me feel so uncomfortable. As if I was bothering her or it was just too much to ask. This was not a one time incident either. Who ever is in charge of the hiring management and on down should take another look at what they have representing their store because as far as I can see it they could care less and it shows at the counters that were once so friendly and that are not now. Never will I go back and I will pass my opinions on until I see change. read more
